Hey divinewinds, thank you for your detailed report as well! It was a great way of meeting Jo ;D Thore! What an entry to Canada I bet that being in the air was scary! I am so glad he was way better the next day and enjoyed his time in Whistler after all

Hello All SHIRLEY & Divinewinds/Cj Thank you both so much for the wonderful reports about Jo and Thore!!! I am so happy they are as nice in person as we all hoped/knew they would be!! Shirley, I am so glad you spoke about Charlie David...he has the most beautiful voice IMO..and you get to speak to him in reality I'm sure there is a better way to write that, but you get my meaning!! Shirley, I enjoyed your pictures and these last pictures by Andre are so beautiful as well...Thank you also Andre!! I'll be looking for more...now that Jo/Olli is back on VL..I expect to be around more once again Take care to all!!

Shirley...incredible that Thore got sick on the flight over. Poor baby, I can't imagine how scary that must have felt to know you are 33,000 feet up in the air with hours before you can land, and your stomach feels as though it's ready to explode. I wonder what cause it?...maybe something he ate in Germany before boarding the plane, maybe something he ate on the plane or maybe nerves combined with not a lover of flying. It could even have been one of those 24 hour virus you can pick up. Interesting of what could have caused him such pain. Food poisoning can be crippling, but more often than not lasts a few days more than a number of hours, and results in some unpleasantries of having to be stuck near a bathroom. Anyway...very pleased to see Thore was fine the rest of the trip and able to have a great time with Jo in beautiful Whistler.
Thank you so much Andre for the pictures of the guys. Jo and Thore look so happy to be there...bless them!! I really hope one day they with come to North America. How brilliant it would be if they were to come to New York. I'm right next door in New Jersey. As shy as I am...I would still be there in a heartbeat to meet them.

I'm also incredible sorry Thore had to endure that because this should've been an exciting trip, but not in that way! My stomach problems appear at most inopportune moments as well, but during a ten-hour flight? And with a ruptured appendix you need emergency surgery! Can you imagine the mental stress on both Thore & Jo? I can't. I'm so glad he got better quickly and it was just some bug. I don't actually know men that tough in real-life and able to shrug it off so quickly! Good for him!

Looking at Andre's photos from the article, I have to say I like the one in front of the landscape most. The others are specific to this event, but you could almost stage them at home! I love Jo's sweaters. One day in black, the other in white. Thore has an iPod! Is that the present from the fan? ;D And both seem to be wearing rings now. I also like Thore's sunglasses in the first pic. I wonder what he gets to keep from VL or maybe his Bundeswehr days or what is given to them (like apparently those jackets). It all looks really cool! And it's impressive how well Shirley fits into the picture. I would be invisible in a photo with them if not ruin it.

You know Lugia, I wonder if that is actually Jo's ring...as the ring looks very similar to what he is wearing....in the 4th & 5th pics...see in the first picture only Thore has the ring on...and in the 4th & 5th..now Jo has it on....I can imagine, the way their characters are on the show..they would be like that in person as well....in other words...I can imagine Thore taking things from Jo ...just as I have see Christian take food from Olli :-) lol...Perhaps, Thore saw the ring and liked it and asked to try it on and they didn't think of it as the picture was being snapped..
Shirley, can you illuminate this thought for me...in person, does Thore sort of have a little brother mentality around Jo...not that he is lower than him, but that he respects Jo and looks up to Jo in a way...It is very late for me, so maybe I am making no sense...I just feel they appear brotherly and I would imagine, Jo as the older more wise brother to Thore's carefree younger little brother....it's possible I am just putting their true ages in my question..I don't know :-)
The mods will have to let me know if I am injecting something more than is allowed in my post...I'm sleepy...so I really can't tell...if so, I will delete!
Good night all!!! :-)

Divinewinds, It sounds like you had a wonderful time, even if you left late. What a great experience to unexpectedly meet Jo at the dinner event.
And thanks for the photos, Andre.
It's too bad that Thore was feeling so ill on the flight to Vancouver, but it's good that he's OK. And it looks and sounds like both of the guys enjoyed themselves.

He also had a black t-shirt that he wore (don't know if there is a picture of it) that had some sort of design on the front (silver kind of thing) that looked fantastic on him. And those beautiful green eyes of his just glowed. He truly is very very beautiful. And the kindest soul in the entire world. As is Thore. He was like a ray of sunshine almost. When he smiled, he lit up a room. Not kidding. So much fun and like a big kid. They got along great..not like big brother/little brother. More like good friends..equals. Now the ring situation (to stop speculation). Thore's ring was nothing more than a bottle opener. LOL. I was teasing him about it. And he turned his hand over to show me. Sure enough on the underside, you can put your bottle of beer and poof..off comes your cap. So, there you have it. So, no, they didn't change rings. Sometimes Jo took his off if he was going to do something like play in the snow or something where he might lose it. That's all.

But look at those pretty teeth. I think he wants to keep them. LOL!

Off topic slightly, I'm insanely neurotic about my teeth. At night I still wear the same retainer from when I was 12, I brush and floss every single day, sometimes three times a day... and the worst recurring dream I have is where my teeth fall out. I wake up in a panic and I have to run into the bathroom to see if they're still there. I know. I'm weird.

Truly horrible! Using a ring is a lot smarter thing to do.

Shirley and Divinewinds, thank you so much for your reports about Jo & Thore in Canada. I was so eager reading about their trip to Whistler. And thank you both for representing us, the fans of our two actors, there! I guess they also felt a little bit "at home" meeting their personal fans. The photo of Shirley standing between Jo and Thore is so lovely, and so are all the other photos. I am glad that Devinewinds suceeded to meet the boys there at last. I really suffered reading the troubles, he first encountered, managing this. And of course I am glad that Thore got over his stomach problem. I am whishing so sincerely, that he will always have fun with all activities he is doing together with Jo.

You guys are so welcome. I think that they had a great time. I also think that they were so surprised (but happy) that people recognized them. I remember one time I was standing with Jo and these guys walked by. One was starring at him and was saying to is friend "that's Olli..oh my god..that's Olli, right there". Jo heard him because he leaned up behind me and said (in a very excited voice) that he couldn't BELIEVE that they were in CANADA and that people actually recognized them. I said "honey, they are going to recognize you all over the world..you just wait". He was beaming. And so happy! People would come up to them and ask for pictures and just talk to them, telling them how much they liked the show. I think it made them really feel good. Maybe Jo will blog. *note to self...pressure Jo to blog*

It's funny because I think Jo once said in regards to the volleyball event that he was lazy, but you can tell that he puts a lot of effort into his blogs! Thore seems to be the sporty one but less interested in these quiet and slow-moving tasks. Or maybe he'd rather like to interact with fans face to face. I thought he did a great job with his first blogs, but if he's not into it, more power to him!

Thore really doesn't like to write on the computer. But he does seem to love to interact with fans. Jo loves the computer and interacting with fans. But maybe Thore will come through with a blog. If not, it's ok. I know he took a bunch of pictures. So maybe those will show up.
