Yay for episode specific thread! I, too, have been missing them! Thank you for the wonderful screen-caps and the clip, Ivan. Awww. It's just so good to see them together again, but not arguing like this! ;D Has Jo discovered the fountain of youth? He looks so young in these pictures. He seemed pretty hyper in some of these scenes. I can't wait for the translation ... especially for the first scene.

On a completely shallow note, Christian looks mighty fine in only jeans (and boxers). No wonder Olli tried seducing him. ;D

Olli was so crestfallen after Christian told him it was only one ticket. Awwww. I have mixed feelings on this ep. I think Christian was way too tunnel vision about school and missed the obvious that Olli was trying to do with spending some couple time but at the same time, I found Olli oddly - and IMO uncharacteristically - needy. I know Jo had to go for his show but the circumstances seemed contrived when there seemed to have been no build up why Olli was rather frantic. And I also realized when I opened this up that it had been a VERY long time since we had an ep specific thread on here.

The chalk design seems interesting -- kind of like a little story they wrote together. I might be reading into this, but I know that friends of mine have put up this kind of paper and made similar drawings.

VL has a thing for belts these days. First Tanja and Ansgars threat and now Christian takes his off two times. Before that I thought they wouldn't go for the pants so obvious. I almost think that if they get a nice reconciliation scene tomorrow it could be more sexy. And I loved that Christian wanted sex when he came back. First I thought Olli would try it again and Christian would say he is tired.
I didn't like the fight and if my boyfriend would send me away to Ibiza I'd me very mad.
The little changes they made in the room are lovely.
But isn't it kinda strange that Olli thinks they're in a crisis if they don't see each other more (in a romantic way). It doesn't sound like he is a fan of separation.
What I like about Olli is that he isn't thinking a relationship is a fairytale just because love is there. He knows they have to work on it and he says it like he thinks it is without holding anything back. Christian is more the guy who thinks it'll never end, whatever happens. Olli is more romantic but also more realistic.

An episode-specific thread and we're still on page 1? Oh nos! I'm going on my very broken German at this point (I'm still learning!) so while Judith's "monster chocolate cake" was completely understood, Olli's upset tantrum was not. Anyway... I agree about Olli seeming over frenetic, but he has had a flare for the overdramatic before. Also agree that Christian was unusually tunnel-visioned. I mean, he usually is, always playing the hero, but this was a little much. Christian's vest-shirt thing was... odd. Half-naked Christian in bathroom? Always welcome Also, I absolutely love the sound that chicken makes!

Olli wants to leave for Ibiza even though Charlie just said how much she needs him now with Angelo gone? Still plenty of nice scenes though. Olli sure knows how to throw a hissy fit.

I couldn't understand anything Charlie said, but I guessed it was something like that, and I thought the same thing. I didn't mind Christian's outfit. It looked a bit like something a Morris dancer would wear. ;D

Wow - a real Ollian episode for a change I was a bit about the way Olli just suddenly flared up at Christian when he didn't succumb to his amorous advances - very girly and drama queen-esque. I thought Christian's line to Olli "are you having someone over for dinner" was actually quite sharply scripted - he is usually a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to reading Olli's mood - though Olli's reply about Jude law was quite funny. I have to say I'm with Christian here - there is no doubt he must be way behind on his studies with all the Olli health trauma recently - and to be fair to Christian, Olli did say he was gonna be working that evening, so it wasn't like Christian was actively doing anything to thwart Olli's plans. He could have been a bit more intuative and sensitive at turning Olli's romantic meal down, though I don't think it would have made any difference. I get the feeling that Olli stayed awake because he was spoiling for a fight with Christian - and as we've seen before with these two, Christian is way to slow at reading the situation regarding how Olli is feeling. The chortling chicken was pure genius - maybe I'm wrong on this but I get the feeling his inclusion is a direct result of the popularity of his presence from the forum here ;D I have to admit that I'm slighty annoyed at the lack of lead up to this fight - this is the second time they've done that - it makes it seem a little too contrived and hollow. However, it was still a very watchable episode.

The thing with the emotional connection worries me,too. Then again, if they love each other like I think they do, it's not possible that Olli is already kinda "falling out of love". But Christian has to do something in the long run. If he isn't realizing that, then he is really dumb. He's too sure about Olli not leaving him but it could lead to a storyline I'd like again, Christian fighting for Olli. It's not good, but Olli has a break-up on his mind if it continues like that I think (what else?). Christian giving him a ticket to make holidays alone isn't exactly what I would call a good idea and it shows that Christian doesn't know what's going on. Ultimately this could keep their relationship alive because Olli isn't going along with everything Christian does and with Christian/Coco it was not unimportant for their break-up that they lived together without talking about their feelings/fears. Olli isn't a guy who's doing anything he doesn't want if he feels that Christian isn't caring or understanding. I mean, Christian thought it would be very easy to talk to Olli in NL because he thinks he gets everything he wants from lovely Olli. But I'm glad that Ollis "Schonfrist" for him is over and he wants Christian to work for their relationship like every normal person in a relationship I'm also disappointed Christians "hospital shock" didn't last longer. Sure, he needs to study but a few hours without it? After all, he almost lost Olli and would he be studying like that if he would have? He should be a little more thankful he still has Olli and he can do all the romantic things with him (he should even be the one organizing it). Maybe that's what Olli is thinking, too. Okay, he's thinking it's natural Olli wouldn't leave him but he experienced almost losing him because of death. After these circumstances sending Olli to Ibiza alone is even more cruel. He should remember his own words at the hospital, that Olli was always okay with everything. With a few compromises (more attention, kissing,an romantic hour with Olli) he would have done enough I think. His apologize was kinda cold, too.

I think one of the things that this episode does really well is highlight the differences in attitude towards responsibility that C&O have. Christian places a lot in his ability to be responsible to himself, his future and his commitments, whereas Olli places more emphasis on his own needs and wants than he does to outside commitments. Christian was quite happy to have time with Olli when he came home at night - because that is the time of day, that in his world, is the time he allocates to spend with Olli - his daytime commitments are to his studies or working in NL. Olli saw spending time with Christian as more important than his job at Schneiders - even though Charlie was short staffed - and is now gonna take off to Ibiza, presumable leaving her in the lurch again. Actually there are a lot of similarities between Olli & Olivia in this respect.

I have to say I'm with Christian here - That's because he took his shirt off... Loves ya, Sheepie! And on the topic of taking his shirt off... Did you see the skill of Olli removing his belt? Whoosh! I gotta agree on the "fight out of no where" story. While it may be true to their relationship and personalities, it doesn't quite fit in the storyline as is.

man, olli sure gets cranky when he's not getting laid on a regular basis. and whats up with judith and the cake and ice cream? she's been eating her feeling like crazy lately. also i love how nobody in german soap land can plan a trip in advance. everyone always decides to leave and then bam, they go the next day. don't they need to pack and prepare? no? oh. okay. i love how nobody has any long term responsibilities. i really feel that the blame here is mostly on olli. he's overreacting and being unreasonable. school is important to christian, and he should understand that. yeah, sure, christian can be clueless, but throw the guy a bone here. he has an exam!

At the risk of being boring and repetitive I agree with everything Sheepie said above. The fight out of nowhere, and the over-exaggeration of their character traits (Olli hyper-sensitive and Christian under-sensitive) made it all seem a little odd. And I'm also disappointed that Christian appears to have forgotten so quickly that he nearly lost Olli, likewise, I'm disappointed in Olli for being so drama queeny just before some exams. He has a valid point sure, but it's the more healthy, mature thing to wait until afterwards then sit Christian down and say "I'm not happy with how you get so self-absorped. But I guess that wouldn't make gripping soap drama ;D Now, wading thru the shallow water (where I belong ;D) have to say, I'm impressed Olli could resist, cos frankly, if Christian walked in my room and whipped his belt off like that I doubt I'd even remember what words were oh and did anyone else think that "Maguire Air" was a giggle at Ryan Air?? Was LMAO at the chicken- and I totally thought it was a nod to people here! But I also thought that the slight comic element with which they played all the scenes (inc a bit of the door falling off in the first scene, the scratching of the romantic Kissing song) was an indicator to us to not panic, all is still well. That's how I read it anyway!

and whats up with judith and the cake and ice cream? she's been eating her feeling like crazy lately. lueless, but throw the guy a bone here. he has an exam! And yet she's losing weight faster than you can say "chocolate cake." ;D Jo and Thore are such good actors that I'm willing to accept this artificial drama. I'm sure there could have been better ways to plan Jo's hiatus from the show, but Olli's hissy fit seems to come out of left field. Like 4Lugia said, this is basically a rehash of the Ollian fight before the boxing match. Back then, I was confused too because a mere few episodes earlier -- before the big fight between Olli and Christian and the one between Christian and Axel, Olli had felt they weren't having enough sex -- there was a scene at noLimits where there was a lot of innuendo and Olli said that with Christian it, and by "it" I believe he meant sex, was "bombastic." But about one week later, Olli felt he and Christian were in the minor leagues sex-wise because they weren't having sex enough. Maybe Olli is a nymphomaniac?

Let me first say how great it is to see a specific episode thread on the guys. It seems like such a long time since we had one.
I thought this was a very solid episode, but because we didn't see any lead up to why Olli had a total meltdown over lack of Christian's attention it seemed to be an episode that just came out of nowhere. Although, we do know why...Jo was leaving for over a months tour with his theater company. But the writers could have done a much better job by focusing those last previous appearances by Ollian on showing the lead up to why Olli exploded today.
I know Olli has one stinking temper, but wow, did he have a total meltdown at Christian. He yelled and threw things around, he was furious. I've never seen Olli so angry. And this is why it seemed so out of place because I as a viewer didn't see a build up to this. We are just lead to assume that Christian has been completely ignoring Olli sexually, emotionally and romantically. Olli is obviously feeling used and taken granted for. He feels second fiddle to Christian's studying and work.
Christian appears to have a perception disorder when it comes to Olli. He's just not able to pick up on Olli's persona. For Olli to have blown up in such a way surely he must have been giving off some signals that he wasn't happy with how 'nothing much' was going on between them. Although, the way that Christian wasn't able to pick up on the beautifully prepared candlelight dinner Olli spent all day preparing is nothing short of someone completely out of touch with his surrounds. And when Olli enlightened him to the fact he had prepared it for them, Christian should have had more compassion and ran down stairs to his classmates and told them he wasn't going to be able to spend a couple more hours with them. Heck, he'd already been with them near on all day. Calling it a night to have some downtime with your sweetheart should have been the priority. Now...I know that Christian doesn't pick up well on the big picture but is he really such a blockhead?
I think both men are at fault here. They both need to be a little more understanding and considerate. Olli could have waited since Christian's exams are important and would be over in a week or so. Christian should never have gotten "ONE" ticket for Olli to Ibiza. What in the world was he thinking? And why didn't Christian purchase two ticks to Ibiza dated for after his exams. It would have worked out beautifully, plus Olli could at least give Charlie notice, especially after she already didn't want to give him the evening off it being so busy at the resturant. But I know they needed a quick exit story because of Jo's tour.
You know...Olli and Christian better sit down and talk things through, because if not their love nest is going to crumble. Olli is obviously waiting too long to make his needs known and then explodes at the most inopportune times catching Christian completely off guard. And Christian better get in tune with how his boyfriend's feeling for the sake of their relationship. There are plenty of other men who would do anything to get hold of a boyfriend like Olli. And sending him to Ibiza solo is a sure way of making that happen.
On a shallow note...Olli was looking mighty hot all angry and passionate. Christian still looked good, but I didn't like that Teeshirt thingy he was wearing at all.
