You know what I think....I think that Olivia should have a serious "girl talk" chat with Judith about what is completely obvious to everyone and their mother on VL (and the viewing audience): Fabian's not the one for her. It's Constantin. Everytime, I watch the clip of him just smiling (with his dimples showing) in joy of thinking that she's going to call him back, just makes me want to smack Judith upside her head. He put alot of time and effort into making her feel special. He feels that she should be treated like she's a jewel, because she is in his eyes. I also think that Miriam should be paired off with Fabian. Sebastian's hair may be shorter but he'll probably still portray the role of "sulky child". Argh, Judith, you fool. CONSTANTIN, not Fabian!

Dude, Constantin has my love alone based on the fact that he is on Adrian's case about the kidnapping. Hot, romantic AND angsty? What are you waiting for Judith?

I think she's going to have to see Constantin with another woman and then she's going to realize how much she really likes him.

BTW, that is the Ollian bathroom, right? I think so. But I thought they had a shower, not a bathtub? Or do they have both?

I think Ollian only have a shower stall. Also, their shower stall is shaped differently than the one pictured.

But it looks like the same shower curtains to me. Hmmm.

But they do have the same tiles and the same showercurtain...
*Is off to watch some bathroom scenes: such a chore! ;D*

It's the same one... Watch this YT clip: around the 2.22 mark you can see the bathtub behind Christian. Apparently they shower in the bathtub.

Yes, you're right! I thought about that too, but I wasn't sure if his feet were really wet. In the clip it doesn't look like Olli is standing next to Christian (into the bathtub) the moment they are interrupted by the knock on the door by Judith. *We're going off topic again btw. *

I think my dominatrix training might come in handy with this thread...

This is only speculation, but I think it's possible that all this might be a build-up to a bashing storyline (in addition to playing a role in the Fabian/Judith/Constantin triangle). They are showcasing professional boxing as a strongly homophobic environment. There was this snarky comment by Christian to Olivia last night “Augen auf bei der Berufswahl” (“Careful with your career choices”) which could be foreshadowing. The fact that Christian hasn’t tried to come out again to Gregor in a more calm way and that he doesn’t come out to the boxing promoter even after he snaps shows that he is still very conflicted about it. Olli is the more rational and calm one and seems to see things more clearly – like what would an outing mean for Christian’s chances at a boxing career since it would make him a target. I think Olli is actually trying to prevent Chris from outing himself out of anger or because he’s being taunted/provoked, like he did with Gregor and like he wanted to do with the boxing promoter. This storyline also has Olli continually putting himself in the middle and bearing the brunt of the boxers' homophobia since he's the one who is out.

I kinda hope not. Particularly since it seems like every soap gay storyline seems to feel the need to include a storyline like that (then again, it probably is realistic that most gay people have had some creepy incident in their life at one point or another; but then they should probably also inlcude at least one sexual harassment moment per female character just to satisfy the statistics). I still think that it would roughly 10 times more interesting if you had Christian beating somebody to pulp and then get in trouble because of criminal priors rather than either Christian or Olli getting gaybashed.
I'm very curious about the episode with the cute almost kiss preview picture because the picture description there said that Christian is mad at Olli first (for keeping him from outing himself), but then realizes that Olli did it only out of love. I hope this scene will at least try to provide a sensible explanation rather than just greed/ambition/wanting to get ahead in boxing.

my goodness... reading the spoilers for the upcoming episode makes my heart feel so heavy. There's one thing that I like = Christian finally outs himself to Gregor (About time, boy!) und according to lolaruns... something bad would happen between Christian and Olli. why? I don't quite like the June 6 episode where Christian disses or "defames" Olli. Poor Olli having to endure stupid Wolle (the talent manager?). Now it makes me think... is boxing really Christian's dream? Frick, I know it's really hard for both of them... so it makes me wonder, "is it really worth it?" Judith poses as Christian's girlfriend..... *sigh* I hope it doesn't develop to something else. I am scared for Olli and Christian. I hope they overcome this test. PLEASE.... huhuhuhu! If I could I would email the writers and plead them... haha... (not like they would listen to me though) I should have never read the spoilers. Now i'm sad.

I still think that it would roughly 10 times more interesting if you had Christian beating somebody to pulp and then get in trouble because of criminal priors rather than either Christian or Olli getting gaybashed. I think Christian beating somebody to a pulp and getting in trouble is also quite a probable outcome - it just seems like the pushing back of Christian's outing is leading us up to some kind of violent escalation. It seems unlikely to me that all this build-up of the boxing storyline is just to put Christian and Judith together. The VL writers seem to be quite good at working paralel storylines into each other, so I think (and hope) that the Judith thing is just simultaniously furthering both the Chr/Olli/boxing and Jud/Fab/Con storylines.

Hmmm, it should be noted that VL *has* done friendships that didn't turn sexual before. For example, Gregor lived together in a flatshare with Cecile and was her go to person in all things Leonhard, yet nothing really ever came out of it (they kissed once and then mutually decided it wasn't for them). Christian beating somebody to pulp, sigh, I wish it would happen. I kinda miss violent Christian I just hope they give Olli a good reason for organising this big deception. It just makes them look like asses if they lie, potentially unwarranted, just to get ahead. Sure, they have said a bunch of times that Christian really wants to box, but they haven't really sold me on that being the one *only* thing he could ever do AND they haven't sold me on him not being able to find another stable where they care less about his sexuality. I think that is what bugs me so about the storyline as it has been spoilered so far. Usually in a storyline where the heros/heroines have to do something not so nice or have to lie there usually is pressure from the outside, a mean family member, a boss, a person who is in love with them who will!totaly!immediately!die if they don't keep up the deception etc... But here there doesn't seem to be that much outside force. I mean, these are mostly random people Christian doesn't even know yet. It's not like Gregor is pressuring Christian to stay in the closet. Or like his boxing trainer is his father figure since childhood and Christian doesn't want to disappoint him or something. Or like it was his father's dying wish for Christian to box. It just feels like they have decided this rather unilaterally and quite randomly too. So I hope the scenes when they actually air give a bit more insight as to why they take that step. Particularly since Olli is the one who has been out since forever (and who defied a misgiving mother to do that). So why would he be the kind of person to think that there is no future unless you are in the closet?

I fervently hope that doesn't happen. I mean, fight someone in a match. Sure. But going bonkers and hurting someone, and going on the lam or whatever, that would not be my ideal scenario at all. And I also have to say, I don't see that the coming out taking until June has to end in a "violent escalation". I think I'm on a completely different wavelength here.
;D
? Was he ever violent?

Well, depending on your defintion of violent. He came pretty close to losing it with Olli, before the first kiss and before they had sex the first time. He also almost lost it with a guy who harassed Nico. He also really did get physical once with Andi and once with Gregor. So the temper is definitely in him. I realize that at the moment it wouldn't fit because he is really happy and he is getting laid a whole lot But in general I rather liked angerboy Christian. And as long as it is aimed at deserving people... But I do agree, the storyline doesn't feel like it is aiming for anything along those lines. Despite the subject matter the treatment feels rather shallow/lighthearted at the moment to me, just based on the spoilers.

I think I would have to agree with Tihkon2. If Christian were to beat the hell out of someone, especially the promoter, then news would spread. He might be jeopardizing himself again and maybe sent to jail for assault, no? If that happens then it may be the end of Olli and Christian intimacy and all. I was just thinking of it. Maybe a punch? but not beating someone to pulp. (but then again, a punch might still get him arrested or something).

See. That's it right there. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo over angst!
;D
I absolutely HATED the last month of the Craig/JP thing on Hollyoaks, because it was 95% angst, and 4% boykissing, and 1% fun. I prefer 70% goodtimes/humor/lovey dovey shit, and if we must, 30% angst. When a storyline is pure angst, I tune out. Life sucks enough as it is without me watching a whole storyline of misery!
Thankfully, nothing I've seen in the spoilers so far makes me think I'm headed for Depressingville anytime soon!
;D

But you see, some angst usually makes the sex scenes so much better (and more graphic) That said, I agree, nothing about the spoilers so far sounds like it will be too depressing for the characters or the relationship

It makes all the make up scenes soooooooo much better. Like Lola said: But you see, some angst usually makes the sex scenes so much better (and more graphic) That said, I agree, nothing about the spoilers so far sounds like it will be too depressing for the characters or the relationship And yes, no horror stories yet according to the spoilers, so that makes me very happy. Some angst is nice, but I'm definitely very pleased with all the funny and romantic stuff we've seen so far! ;D
