Hello guys, not sure if anyone has posted this out but LOL! This is the gay version of Taylor Swift's big hit "You Belong With Me". It's almost an exact replica of the actual version given the budget constraint. Both the leads are pretty cute, even cuter than the one in the actual Taylor Swift's video. Although they could have asked a guy to replace the evil bitch and we are missing a KISS. And some parts are not in sync with the actual vocals. But it's an amateur spoof, so it's really good for its standards. LOL. Anyway, it's a cute remake. Just found out that this spoof is done by the students from University of Rochester, NY. The 2 male leads are part of the YellowJackets (some sort of a male Glee club in the school I supposed). The jock is Matt Francis and the nerd is Michael Pittman. Here is the website for YellowJackets: www.jackets.org

Hello people, wherever you are. Thought I'd drop by for a quick visit. It's now official...February 2010 is in the record books as the warmest in recorded history (6°C / 11°F above average). Looks like March is heading that way too, maple sap is already flowing...
Last Sunday I attended Guarda Nueva's Tango concert... The five music students gave us a musical moment none of us will ever forget. A hit... the crowd would not let them go... and the musicians did not want to leave either, so we had two long encores... strictly Piazzolla... the master of the New Argentinian Tango. The Tango leaves no one indifferent... you either love it or hate it... passionately, for it is a music of raw passion... When I the concert ended I was beat... I don't know what the future has in store for the quintet since three of the students are graduating this year... at least I know I'll the opportunity to attend another Guardia Nueva performance in June... already looking forward to it.
This evening was modern dance... flabbergasting... some numbers were mesmerizing... the bodies seemed to float. The five technically excellent dancers, two males and three females, took us on a journey through love, despair, and back to love... couples formed (gay, lesbian, hetero), parted ways... and new ones formed... That's the second time this year I get to applaud the daring of our artistic community... The place was nearly packed... from 18 year olds to 70+ year olds (that surprised me but in a very pleasant way)... some people might have been shocked but nobody left... I had the chance to talk to the choreographer after the performance and he was delighted with the response from the audience. He was not sure what to expect. BTW... he is absolutely gorgeous.
Ok... time I hit the sack... big day tomorrow... I'll let you know how the play was.
Take care one and all, JF

Hi people! I had some fun/interesting/exciting things to tell everyone (including Merlin related stuff) and then my nan died suddenly yesterday morning and blew everything else out of the water. Bit shellshocked and feeling pretty useless at the moment

Does anyone know anything abut the Windows Vista Security Virus? It has infected my laptop and taken over my internet there. I am so pissed off right now and I just want my laptop back and healthy.

I turned it on and this Windows Vista Security thing kept popping up, the stupid thing is that there is no such thing and my Norton Ani Virus keeps telling me nothing is wrong but the Windows Vista crap has taken over my internet and I can't open internet no more and I had to back up my iTunes so I didn't lose that. I am so frustrated because this guy at work said that the thing my computer has is a sneaky bug that infects the computer, antivirus software won't stop it and once its on you can basically write off your computer. Which means I'm most likely going to have to get a new one.

Thanks, MsVixen.
We've been having beautiful weather here the last few days. Temperatures in the 60s. Wonderful. But it's going to get colder again this weekend, just in time for my parents' visit.

Hi everyone! So sorry for being reallllllly quiet lately. Somehow time flies and even when I think I haven't been away long it turns out I have. And I don't even have the excuse of being terribly busy with interesting stuff. ;D Just work and stuff. Friends and family; you know. The regular stuff. Nothing exciting like a trip to NYC unfortunately... Hope that those who will attend will have loads of fun. And B-chick; remember to take those pics of Scott... ;D ;D How is everyone doing? Neand, how's the trip to your niece? Hope you're having a wonderful time! (I'm not sure whether you're home yet or not; hence the posting in present tense ) And yes, Wiki is a great tool to explain things complicated. ;D Argh, I just discovered I'm way too late congratulating you with little Émilies birthday! One already! Time really does fly. Were you there to celebrate it with her? And the big question: Is she walking yet? (And to reassure you: Jarno wasn't walking either on his first birthday. At least not on his own... ) Glad to hear the artiest week you had so far was such a great success! Sounds all wonderful... Next week I hope to the Matthaus Passion again. Not sure yet where and when; haven't made any reservations and it will probably be a last minute decision, but I really want to go again. Restenergy, did you do something special to celebrate your birthday? (I already congratulated you on FB ) Lousia, how have you been doing? Must have been quite some sad times for you these last two weeks; hope you're feeling ok. *Hugs* Sheepie, I finally get your love for Emmerdale. Last night's episode was just wonderful... Very few tv shows make me cry (although I have to admit I bawled my eyes out at the series 2 finale of Merlin) and it's even more rare when it's a soap, but yesterday? I cried. PS. Anyone else playing FarmVille on Facebook? It's kind of addicting...

LOL. I just saw a status update on FB, by a gay friend of mine.... and it's a definite Dantes Cove quote (it even mentions the show). I relly want to comment "Kevin&Toby ftw" but he doesn't have a clue I am addicted to gay tv/movies... and I wouldn't tell him. Is that weird?

Okay, so I promised pictures and updates and I've failed on all accounts. So here we go... Briefly, work is insanely more insane than usual, I'm still training hard (doing the 200km charity bike ride again this year - bigger and better I hope!), and I've become an uncle (again). Thanks for the birthday wishes last month, and happy belated to all those I've missed in the past few months. Louisa, I'm sorry to hear about your nan. Hi Mom and Princess! I think there were some sightings a few weeks ago. Princess, congrats on the engagement! Do what some of my friends did: send out cards to all your friends with "We got married! Party to follow." ;D Finally, here are some shots from my cruise through the Panama Canal last autumn. The ship (somewhere in Mexico): The locks at Gatun, Panama Canal: Passing through, 2 feet to spare...: Cloud Forest in Costa Rica, suspension bridge 120 feet up:

Bit late, but CONGRATULATIONS!!! Must be a great feeling. I know I absolutely loved becoming an aunt a year and a half ago. Is it a boy or a girl and how is he/she doing? Mikey - Great to see you here again! How have you been doing? The pics are great! Thanks so much for sharing... That's quite a big ship. On another note: WHERE IS EVERYONE? I know I've been awfully quiet again lately and I just noticed it has almost been a month since I last wrote something on the forum. Have been reading some spoiler thread and such, but other than that... Haven't been that active. Am watching Emmerdale and Eastenders at the moment, but that's all right now. Still waiting for that big amount of free time for the rest. ;D Have been busy with work and should have been busy with university. (Still want to finish that. My grandma had an heart attack two weeks ago, but luckily she doing better and better and is back home again. But still; was a little bit of a shock. Had a funeral as well that week because the old lady I used to visit every other week died. I'm going to miss her. Eighty year old people can be so much fun and she was so witty and feisty; great to talk to. But she was in so much pain at the end that I was glad for her it was over; at least now she's at peace. Oh, and on a happier note: I'm going to Switzerland in three weeks! Only for a weekend, but I'm REALLY looking forward to it: finally going to visit my friends there. (They will be visiting the Netherlands next week, so I will be seeing them soon anyway, but it's still great to finally see their new home!) Well, that's it for now! Hope to read here more soon; have been missing you!

Awwww! Yesterday I saw a young gay couple again... (not those two I always see... ) These guys were no more than 18-19 either.... they were so cute also.. and first I thought I had seen wrong with the handholding cause they were both kind of tought/skater-guy looking. Yes yes... I know you don't look a certain way when you're gay, but they looked like those teenagery smart ass guys that go around yelling "BOOOOOBS" all the time. Guess they weren't. Long story short.. it made me happy inside to see them
