He, too, can be yours if you win him in the MASH game that is all over LJ like I did though I was pulling Igor. I assume a "for" is missing. Cause if I had Thore and was pulling Igor on the side I would not be upset. ;D Oooo. Boy is that typo I am embarrassed by. And yes, the kiss over the heart was lovely. Even made the cynic in me appreciative of that nuance.

2 things then I'm done. I swear. Maybe. 1. Watching the video again, I noticed the shoes now. I'm thinking the reason C doesn't mind is because the shoes are ridiculously clean. I was LOLing. The soles are pristine. They have obviously never been outside the studio. 2. Don't throw things, but I was really liking the Gregor/Judith interaction. Was even thinking 'Gregith.' *Runs away in shame.*

Oh Jo and Thore do a lovely job.
Two things I noticed:
1) The FX cue when Christian is looking at the photo of his father is hilarious, I know it's probably meant to be a police/ambulance siren but it sounds like there is a parade going on right outside his bedroom window!!!! Don't believe me? Go back and listen, I was watching and lilterally went "Huh?". Sometimes the sound and music department for this show are so on to it (did anyone else immediately download Sia's Breathe Me after the 04/04/08 eppie?) but sometimes it's like they feel the need to live up to the cliche of the over-the-top soap. *sigh*
2) Something I didn't notice until the subtitled clip - Christian's little 'What?" after Gregor quickly accepts that doping is a good reason to cut the contract with Wolle. He's suprised! I can't work out if its because he didn't think Gregor would buy it or because he didn't expect Gregor to buy it so quickly. Lovely stuff.
Oh and kissing and wonderfully manscaped bodies. I love this show :-)

Is it just a Canadian thing to take off your shoes as soon as you get in the house? Because, seriously, if someone just waltzed on through my front door and into my living room or bedroom, with their shoes from the outside still on, I'd think they were rude, or crazy, or both... Could be. I don't know anyone who doesn't. Most people I know have spare home-made Phentex slippers handy... particularly useful when it's -30°C outside (hard to keep the floor warm).

It might depend in what climate you live, meaning whether its the kind that is likely to make your shoes really dirty.

I realize that Gaytime already said this but I would just like to reiterate how awesome I think it is that Thore's acting has made obvious improvement in the past few months. I think that really shows true dedication to the job. Just wonderful *sigh...Thore Scholermann*

Agreeing with you about Thore's improved acting; I just love what he does with his face.... Boy, do you guys talk a lot while I'm asleep... ;D And the embaressing thing is that the only thing I wanted to react to is: Still, it was nice to have them horizontal for a change -- not to mention the charge I got from seeing Christian's hand pressed against Olli's bare stomach... Glad to hear I'm not the only one... ;D I know: shallow...... O, and before I forget: Thank you Nanna and Tihkon for all your hard work!!!

I noticed that as well, Restenergy. Gregor/Andreas showed the questioning, shock and surprise in his face, from the reveal. You know what I also loved about yesterday's Ollian storyline, you have these 4 characters that all care about each other, specifically Christian's pursuit of his future boxing career. They all seem to want to help him achieve that goal, but they also want him to be happy and not sacrifice himself too much to gain it. There's so much interaction within their storyline that TIES into other characters storylines, that it's just a nice thing to see that the writers of the show realize that none of the characters should be 'limited' to just their own storyline. It's how American soap operas USED to be before the 90's. Now that Nanna has posted the HQ file on sendspace, and I have had a chance to download it, I've undertaken that terrible and irritating chore of watching it again. I noticed something small, but something I thought was a bit of a nice touch. When Gregor walks into Christian's room, we see him first noticing the guys. It's like he's thinking "What's this, and why is Olli making out with a guy in my brother's room." But then when Olli manages to rouse a rather busy Christian to pay attention to what just happened, we see Gregor do a double take. "Oh, Olli is making out with... with my brother." Nice job from Andreas there (and probably writers and director, too).

To be fair, the cross storyline communication isn't perfect on VL either. For example, Olli seems to be totally out of the loop regarding the abduction of his baby niece. It was really obvious yesterday where there was a really touching scene where Charlie visited Lars and comforted him and held him when he blamed himself for them missing the ransom money deadline.

Thanks Nanna and Tihkon for the translation! I've got so much to say. Let's go in order: Wow. Two of us have used latin in the same 24 hour period. I wonder if Aldebaran is going to be giddy when he reads this tomorrow. Not giddy, but impressed for sure. I noticed that you use more latin words when speaking than Italian themselves. Of course most of our vocabulary is of Latin origin, but except for the juridical language, we use very little pure Latin words or sentences. Locutions such as "e.g." or "i.e." are very common in English, but we don't use them in Italian. Not to mention "in flagrante delicto", just amazing! What are sirens like in your country? As for Sia's song, of course I did... ehm... I bought it straightaway... ;D But I must say, ( aldebaran beware), Jo is really winning me over in a big way. He is awesome with Olli's character. Olli's emotional, sensitive and caring side really has character of its own and Jo is fantastic at bringing these things out. He is so into Christian (no pun intended) and Christian's needs. As I'm used to saying, such words have to be carved in the stone... Agreeing with you about Thore's improved acting; I just love what he does with his face.... I know: shallow...... Well, only to join the "shallow" party, I say that I don't just love what he does with his face, but also with the rest of his body... ;D Finally, since I'm a picky person (right Roddieb? ), I couldn't but notice the last frame of yesterday's episode: Wolfram Grandezka? So it's not a fictional name, it's (almost) his real name! Who is he, a "guest star" or something like that?

Hey dkellergrl, I know it has got nothing to do with VL, but I do like your signature with Cristiano Ronaldo sooo much!

Wolfram Grandeza plays Ansgar of Lahnstein (he is occasionally seen blackmailing Olivia). He is called "Wolle" among his friends. It's generally assumed that the name of the promoter is a an in joke by the writers.

In the United States, sirens are typically a rising and falling pitch wail, kind of like a sine wave effect. Sometimes its slower and sometimes it's faster. There are actually a few tones that get used on newer vehicles, I think with the idea that changing the sound can get attention of people who haven't been paying attention. One hardly ever hears the typical European siren of alternating higher and lower pitch cords from horns. (I'm terrible at describing sounds. I hope this made sense.)

I know that sirens in the U.S. are different from European ones (even if there are some kind of new ambulances with a "very american" sound , but I didn't think it could sound so strange to someone... Thanks Lola, so that's the name of the actor playing Ansgar. It's funny!
