Each glimpse of the balloons on the rooftop scene gets a bit weirder each time they add a new detail. I really didn't think the first guy was Duean until this reveal. I am hoping (and this is kind of based on the spoilers for episode 11) that this scenes sets up Duean deciding to accept Mork as his brother's boyfriend.
Two very sweet moments bookending a long slapstick routine - I wish they had let the dating contract scene breathe a little before switching into the overlong "hide Mork from Duean" comedy. I will say that Phuwin was doing some of his best acting in any of the shows that I have seen him in - Pi seemed to glow when he decided to accept that he had feelings for Mork and wanted to actually be with him.

Well this one was a better than the last couple offerings, but now I am left wondering how the heck they will wrap everything up with just one more episode. I kind of expect that they will quickly solve a few of the threads and then do the time jump to the rooftop scene and show it to us in full to end this. Really they need some more episodes to give Pi the chance to go from "feeling like the hottest guy in school is chasing me - so when is the other shoe going to drop and everything fall apart" to being "confident enough in his own skin to realize that he is worthy of the love of the hottest guy in school."
I will admit that I enjoyed Duean's fantasies about what was about to happen at Meen's house - they seemed to have a bit more chemistry there than in any of their other interactions to date. Though I also felt that Duean had more chemistry when he was just talking to Mork about their respective brothers then he has ever shown with Meen. I also really liked Duean as the protective big brother - though I found it a bit of an odd choice to defang him by Mork's rebuttal of vowing to keep him away from Meen. I guess it is supposed to show that Duean is so head over heels for Meen that he would do anything just for the chance to be with him, but it just didn't seem in character.
Have we seen Mork in glasses before? - He looked really good with them on.
Mork and Pi - two balls of insecurity. I think Mork needs to back off a little bit as he is really veering well into the obsessed territory that he claimed Pi was in a few episodes ago with Meung Nan. While I agree with Mork that Pi needs to stop looking at the social media and stop caring so much about what other people think, I think that he really needs to tell Bam to step back. Bam is increasing Pi's insecurity - which is a bit nonsensical, as if Pi would stop and think about it - he would realize she isn't any competition. Mork has never shown any interest in a female partner.
Could we get Pi and Duean's parents back in the finale? - I really think Pi could use some counseling from at the very least his mother (though it would be a nice change of pace to have his dad be the comfort/advice giver) and I miss the two characters who I think are sadly underused.

Yeah, I'm surprised this time, the episode before the finale didn't become some kind of angst filled drama, but the problem that got raised isn't something that can be easily solved, unless they decide to just hand wave away the problem (Pi will just decide not to be affected by social expectation, and then everything is good). It seems like the finale is where all the drama is happening. Which just increase the chance they will handwave everything away just to end the show

Regardless of my many complaints about this show in previous posts (and in this post too ), I have to say that I genuinely enjoyed it and will be sad to not have it as part of my Friday evening entertainment. Phuwin did a really good job portraying an insecure child growing into a man. Pond did a really amazing job for a first acting credit. Neo brought his normal frantic energy and fun to most of his parts (though I still don't believe Duean and Meen as a pair). GMMTV - clearly has a formula and by this offering it had become pretty stale. Letting the drama and confrontation come to a climax in the penultimate (and in this case in the first half of the last!) episode followed by the immediate resolution of said conflict in a few minutes really doesn't give the audience the closure they really deserve - just give us more a couple episodes of the boys actually being happy. I thought they were ending it with the bedroom scene with Duean and Meen walking in to discover Mork stripping Pi. I was very thankful to be wrong - they really didn't need that scene at all. The kissing in the school's dentistry lab was nice way to use the one scene from the trailer that they had hinted at earlier in the season but really hadn't portrayed yet. Bam - let Koh chase after you. He seems delightfully devilish (and adorable) and at least he is interested in girls. I didn't really like that they had to throw one more bit of drama in by having her release the pictures that caused the conflict in the last episode. The Shippers - I know that they were essentially there to push Pi's insecurity and anxiety, but why would Mork invite them in for his birthday celebration??? He already knows that Pi is insecure about how other people perceive him. It just wasn't logical. The balloon scene was used to often as a framing device to show that the storyline was proceeding in a set direction - so I kind of felt a little let down by it all. I really liked the sad version of the OST - hopefully they will release it. All that said, I really liked Pi and Mork. The two actors had good chemistry with each other (and Phuwin does a great job of swooning during some of Mork's more romantic actions).
