Yet another trailer from GMMTV for 2021 - and this one looks amazing. I like the idea of two love rivals falling for each other (even if it seems that the one wasn't really a rival at all).
I don't think mydramalist has a link yet for this one.

I noticed this one has Phuwin and Neo who played Drake's younger brother and his bromancy friend in 'Cause your my boy a few years back. I always wondered if GMMTV had further plans for them after they made a cameo appearance in Dark Blue Kiss as bickering boyfriends.
And one of the Jutamas twins is back too. Looks like AJ to me.
I think this show is going to be one of their big releases next year. They seemed to make a big thing of it at the press event.

Love that Phuwin finally have another BL after My Tee where GornMorn was barely advanced. I am a bit sad that he isn't paired with Neo though, especially since Neo is also part of the show.

It's been announced that this series will start on Friday 9th April. That tends to suggest that it will replace '1000 Stars' which will end on the 2nd with its 10th episode.

Not bad. Didn't realize that Mixx was in here. Surprised they showed a kiss right in the trailer though. I really hope Phuwin and Neo get a series together in the future.

The last trailer had some sort of statement that Mixx was a special guest - and it made it sound like he was only in the show for a few scenes. After Tale of a 1000 Stars, this was the GMMTV show I was most looking forward to out of the batch of trailers.

I think he is just there to kick off the rivalry, but he is not part of the main cast

Just a little publicity video with the stars of the show telling us about their characters and answering personal questions on whether they have ever fallen in love with a fish upon the sky.
Neo is just so candid and funny.

I suspect that Neo is the one always doing things off script that end up part of the show - a natural comedian.

This is probably going to be a messy love triangle at first. I really enjoyed it - I especially liked the idea that Mork is actually the person who Pi considers his only friend and has secretly been texting him for a year. Seeing how devastated Mork was when he realized just how hurt Pi was, was really well done. Phuwin did a good job of acting out his character's loneliness and lack of trust in others. I suspect that Mueang Nan is actually trying to fix up Mork and Pi and had no idea that Pi would develop a crush on him after a random act of kindness. (Knowing GMMTV is going to go to the same set of actors they have on contract - might Pi's brother Wan be played by Earth and already have a thing for Mix's character?). I kind of thought Duean was acting younger than Pi - really surprised to find out that Phuwin is only 17, whereas Neo is really 20. I am glad that Neo's more frenetic moments were limited - because I kind of feel that his character might quickly start to grate (especially if it is continuously combined with the toilet humor). I like the parents - they can stay. One of the posters in the part 4 feed noted that their children's names are Pi = year, Duean = month, Wan = day and their flirty humor of adding a Winatee - Winatee means Second. Its silly, but I really like the little fish icons in the credits and transitions. The first episode already is more coherent then pretty much the entire season of Tonhon Chonlatee. But no more x-rays of teeth

That episode went by to quickly. For someone studying dentistry, Pi is very squeamish about braces removal. I really like Mork.

Mork's tender treatment of Pi's wounds may seem to be finally sounding some alarm bells in Pi's head (of the cute boy is flirting with you nature and you like it). I did feel like I had wandered into the B plot of a Scooby Doo episode though in part 3 - the various combinations of them leaping into each others arms went maybe a bit too long. I still think Mueang Nan is trying to set up his friend with Pi - the end scene where Pi grabs a hand thinking he would drag Mueang Nan off to confess to him and then the camera pans out to show that it is Mork that he is talking to/kissing (without realizing it) seems like part of this effort.
I am not really feeling Duean and Meen - nor is having the narrator break with his commentary helping it (though I will admit the hose in the garden scene was nice). I do like Duean and Pi together though - he does make a good supportive older brother.

If you can get past Duean's very stupid plan to separate Mork from Mueang Nan as well as the rapping shippers (Dear God, did I really write that? or did I have a stroke while watching?) this was a pretty good episode.
Phuwin did a really good job portraying the exhilarating rush of a first kiss - only to crash to Earth when he realized that a series of wacky events made him kiss the wrong guy (though there was no soul-searching about how great the kiss was even though it was with the "wrong" guy). So Pi is a real lightweight when it comes to alcohol and really needs to avoid the gyrating posteriors of women when in a bar. [On a side note - Duean appeared to be wearing boxers - who puts their phone down the back of their boxers? - it's not like there were pockets?]
I continue to adore Pond - he is playing Mork as confident and sure of himself. I am glad that Mork made his interest quite clear at the end.
I have to wonder how many takes they had to do for the popcorn scene. I also wonder what Pond's reaction to reading in the script that he would have to eat popcorn from his co-star's hair.
Mueang Nan teasing Mork about going easy on Pi was delightful - and while I am almost thought in the first scene that Mueang was a little disappointed that Mork was getting dragged off by Pi, this scene left me feeling that yes, Mueang is really trying to make sure Pi falls for Mork.

I think as long as long as you remember they are deliberately being corny, the show is much more enjoyable. It is a complete 360 in tone from Tales of a 1000 stars.
