Is it true that the actor playing Måne will leave the show this month? I just read it somewhere.. He's still on set, so I guess he's just going on a small break, like Vanessa did. (No objection from me, gives me time to catch up haha)

Highlight to read the answer: Yes, he'll come out quite soon (he already did this but these episodes were not subbed yet). There are no spilers about his love life. New season will start in January 7.

I know I know I am awful just anxious to see more. Ever since I got injured at work my only outlet is all of these shows that I have come to love. Even when I get angry at the writers I just want them to read and think you know maybe its time for very strong gay characters. Just know this I am so thankful for all the hard work in translating. I can't thank everyone enough for bring these shows to my attention to enjoy.

Until we get the next installment, a couple of vids to share:
The first is a montage of Måne/Stellan kisses.
The second is a teaser from Mathias's next film. It always cracks me up because my first thought when I see Mathias in his work outside Hotel Cæsar is "What on earth are you doing, Måne?" and this is no different.

I know I know I am awful just anxious to see more. We're working on the next part, but I'm not the one subing it so I don't know when it exactly will be published. Subing the videos takes some time and in addition it's Christmas. -Marius/HCMoon01

OMG! Luke Evans...burn! Hilarious! You certainly won't see anyone in the US media calling him out on his cowardice ("I'm out of the closet... No... now I'm back in the closet!!). I love it!

The hilarious stuff about Luke Evans is the only good thing to come out of this storyline in ages. What they did to this storyline was unforgivable. Måne was basically out of the closet, and he had a wonderful boyfriend. Then no boyfriend, he says he's straight.. like WTF?!? It's a total retcon (retroactive continuity) of the storyline! I feel like they changed all of Måne's progress in coming out, and who he was as a character, they changed it, forgot who he really was, JUST so it could fit with this pathetic storyline with Rock Young. And don't even get me started with this lame stuff. What was even the point of him? Ugh.. it was just SO BAD. Hopefully the new episodes will be better, at least Rock is gone, and it won't take much to improve it since it sucked so much. That is if Måne comes back at all. I'm still not sure

Måne was basically out of the closet, and he had a wonderful boyfriend. Then no boyfriend, he says he's straight. No, he wasn't! Only Vanessa and Stellan knew he was gay, she left to USA, Stellan dumped him, that could be pretty depressing. So we have young boy with almost no self-confidence in the world expecting him to be straight. I think it's pretty realistic, except for the Rock Young part (he was too old for Mane).

Umm.. he ahd a boyfriend, which he was almost 100 % comfortable with, he had told a couple of people that he was gay. He has no issues with being gay, then he does a 180, says he's straight after all.. and for what? Just to fit a stupid plot.

Rock Young just represented a lesson for Mane. I don't think he's meant to be seen as a viable love interested. I think he was just there for Mane to see and reflect upon. Here is the super famous sex symbol guy who is closeted and miserable and depressed and terrified to come out so he can't even enjoy his fame or success. I think the combination of Stellan and Rock and the designer is meant to give Mane and idea of the different ways gay men deal with being gay and to help Mane figure out what to do.
Seeing everything as a whole, I really like the storyline. Mane is so young and right now he's alone because he has Vanessa's support but he doesn't really have any gay people in his life to talk to about their experiences and he's lost his first love and couldn't really appreciate the friendship and guidance being offered to him by the designer guy (I loved their scenes so much).
I'm excited to see what happens next.
I like when a young person's coming out isn't just about boyfriends and being in love and is more focused on sense of self and knowing who you are.

Fine, then we'll have to agree to disagree. I didn't like how they completely changed the character of Måne, and his process of coming out, JUST to fit a stupid storyline.

Who knew except Stellan and Vanessa (well, and Tom but he's dead)? He was comfortable with those two people only, he was still too afraid to tell anyone else, that's why Stellan dumped him. And if he didn't have guts to come out to his family even with his love behind his back, he wouldn't do that when they split. After first shock he just went back into the closet - noone knew he was gay and he had no courage to tell anyone. Rock Young just represented a lesson for Mane. I don't think he's meant to be seen as a viable love interested. I think he was just there for Mane to see and reflect upon. I disagree. He had wet dreams with Rock and spent one night wanking to the Rock's homemade sex clips. Maybe not love but he at least had a crush on Rock.

I don't know what you're disagreeing with. LOL I never said Mane wasn't attracted to Rock. Rock is sexy, Mane obviously thinks so as well. I was simply pointing out that there was more to Rock as a character than just the fact that he is sexy and gay. It was talking to Rock about his life that made Mane finally realize how difficult his future life might be if he had to constantly like about who he is and worry about folks finding out. I don't think the show is paring Rock and Mane up as future love interests because Rock is closeted and leaving the hotel. He doesn't even live in Norway. So how would that work?

Hey Marius, do you know if Måne will be back in the new season? Because I watched, and he's not in the new episodes.. so I'm just wondering. Is he gone for good, or will he be back?

I can't confirm if Mane is no longer on the show but I saw the new opening credits on YT and Mathias is no longer featured in them. All signs point (sadly) to his exit from this show.
