I watch the entire show most of the time but when Timo, Emilio and the cousin is on that's when my ff button gets the most working out, they are just the most snooze worthy threesome I have ever come across, together or separate they just don't stack up. Leonie is going to follow in her daddy's footstep and pine over her cousin for the rest of her born life, and Timo will be doing the same thing, Lord help us who have to watch them, but I'm sure they have some fans out there who appreciate them.
Best line of the day from yesterday's episode came from Frank "I don't know about you but I'd rather walk a bit more slowly on the ground than lie under it".

Thanks for the caps. How far is the flatshare from where Jessica works. She goes hone like 2 or three times a day. I know that Tanja's not around, so she probably doesn't have a lot to do, but still it's a bit odd.
Also, why was Olli cleaning the hall, can't they afford to have someone else do it. They do own the building. One more thing to be confused about.

If Jessica would stop buying expensive shoes and clothes she would have some money to buy Christmas presents.

^^Andi, Christian, Tristian, Daniel, Ansgar I don't know about any of those. Deaniel isn't very high and on list lately and given the last present that she received from Ansgar, I can't see him being very high either. I think ex-sex partners are definitely a no go. Maybe her BFF's Tanja and Olli or Auntie Scheider.

^^That was just a joke in reference to all the men she has slept with, I know she would not be buying them presents. Most likely it's for her family she never sees.

It's the holidays and that means kids. As expected Tanja/Ansgar's kid is a bit of a brat, but I guess that anyone could see through that pitiful excuse for a Santa outfit.
Timo caught his mother and uncle and has now lost it. I guess that Julia had no choice but to go after him, but how do you explain that one away.
Poor Tristan. Once again he's fallen for someonehe can't have. Maybe he will help heal Marlena of what has hapened to her and they can be happy. I think they are good together.

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to translate what Jan was saying when he was freaking out there at the end. I almost never post, and I know I'm in the minority in enjoying the Jan and Julia sl, but I thought that scene was really powerful. I also really enjoyed Tristan and Marlene today. He breaks my heart every time he tells her he loves her, and it's been what, 3 or 4 times now?

Basically "God you suck" "I know that I'm hurting people and don't find understanding with them, not just the people I love but also with you. I never wanted it, but a love that is so strong, it can't be wrong, can it? " He breaks my heart every time he tells her he loves her, and it's been what, 3 or 4 times now? They deserve some sort of award for most repetitive storyline/most conversations devoid of any content. On the other hand... they are in real competition with the borrrrrrring Daniel and Helena Dietmar&Dagmar conversations which would probably actually be worse if I ever managed to sit through them

What I can understand Julia and Jan (priest) found each other, fell in love and then found out that they are brother and sister. A couple of years later, he's a priest and she's married with a teenage son. Please explain why they brought up the whole thing again?

From what I've heard, it was a very popular s/l and them along with Clarissa was a way of giving the show that was lagging with the audience a shot in the arm.
I think in a way they did that. Those that were facinated with the s/l, I believe were intrigued again. I fount the Jan/Julia s/l more interesting than the Timo/Leonie/Emillo one. My problem with it was all the unnecesarry lies to try and build drama. That made the s/l just fall flat for me.
I would have like it better if they were up front with things from the beginning and Ricardo got to know Jan and like him and over time J/J found themselves drawn to each other. Given the time apart and them being much older there should have been more distance, but they had them immediately pulled towards each other from the start and fighting it the whole time. That's what I didn't like about the s/l.

They deserve some sort of award for most repetitive storyline/most conversations devoid of any content. On the other hand... they are in real competition with the borrrrrrring Daniel and Helena Dietmar&Dagmar conversations which would probably actually be worse if I ever managed to sit through them It is really repetitive, but it still gets me. I wonder if that's a benefit to watching a soap opera in a language you barely understand (and didn't understand at all until beginning the show). Things that, in English, might be really annoying and repetitive to me, are less so in German. Although it's still obvious when a sl is languishing and going nowhere fast. Mostly, the acting saves their story for me. I love Tristan, and Marlene isn't horribly annoying. Daniel and Helena, on the other hand, are completely boring. I always liked Helena, and didn't even mind Helandi (unlike most around here ), but these two together have nothing that interests me at all. Even the tension with Andi is lame. And the Dietmar and Dagmar stuff is so annoying that I wish Frau Rieth would just die already. Also, is it just me, or has Helena lost everything that really made her unique as a character in the beginning? She was a bit of a nerd, smart, shy and awkward, etc. Now, she has nothing other than the stuff with Nico and with Andi/Daniel. It's like her personality got lost along the way or something.
