Christian Sancho in "Botineras" plays the role of Manuel Riveiro, also known as "El Flaco". Manuel is an Argentine football player who spent his latest years playing for an Italian team. Now he's back in Buenos Aires and plays in his old team, El Deportivo Cristal, in which he grew up as a player, to end there his career. "El Flaco" is married with Lili (played by Guillermina Valdez) and he's the father of 2 children. Temporarily they're all living in Tato's house (Damián de Santo who plays the manager of the club) waiting for their new own house to be ready. Manuel has a secret, he leads a double life as he's gay and by now he has a relationship with his teammate Lalo Roldan.

Christian Sancho was born in 1978, April 18, in Santa Fe, is an Argentine actor and model. Prior to becoming an actor, Sancho began modeling in many different countries in Europe ( Spain, Italy and France) as well as in Mexico, USA and Argentina. He had worked with the best firms in the industry, including famous campaigns for "Versace," "Christian Dior" and "Eyelit." Sancho's career as an actor began in 2000, when he palyed a small role in the TV series "Los Buscas de siempre." In the following years, he appeared in numerous TV series such as "Provócame," and "Sangre fría". In 2006, Sancho had his big chance when he won the role of Angel in the Fantasy Drama, "Ángel, las alas del amor." He's the father of 2 children. Camille was born in 2002 during his relatioship with Valeria de Brito. They met for the first time in 1999 during a casting and they met again in June 2000, on a trip to Las Lenas. In mid 2000, the couple moved together in the department that Sancho had in Palermo, but still not talking about marriage. After many twists and turns their relationship ended. Sancho had another son, Gael (born premature 11/02/2010) from his fiancée Vanesa Schual.

I've never kissed another man in my life," said the actor Christian Sancho. That did not prevent a realistic interpretation of a football player in love with his teammate in the telenovela "Botineras." The first "botinero" of the Argentinian TV confessed to the magazine Caras that the scene recorded with the actor Ezequiel Castaño was "A Good First Win!" and that his inexperience in the art of kissing male lips did not prevent to imprint sentiement in the interpretation: "It was an intense and real kiss, "he acknowledged. "When I heard 'recording' I jumped into the pool," said Sancho, to whom his character "El Flaco" Ribeiro, a bisexual footballer who is married, has children and leads a double life, represented a challenge. And even more when he "madly falls in love with 'Lalo'"(played by Castaño) as anticipated. When Sebastián Ortega, producer of the program, shouted: "Cut, 15 retake" the cameras were turned off and Sancho returned to be himself and not Riveiro. But after broadcasting the scene in the locker room of the club, the actor began to receive all kinds of responses from the public. "The other day I came home early with my wife and some sweepers cried out 'Hey, Ribeiro, your wife is tremendous, but if you are good with us we give you some kisses', and I laughed" the actor told us, he is the father of Gael, hisfirst child, a month ago with his partner, Vanessa. p.s. I don't speak spanish...and my english is not so good, pls forgive me

I've just found an article about Christian celebreting his bday with his family and some other cast memebers (including the guy who plays Lalo): Christian Sancho cumplió 35 años.

Posteo: Juan Carlos Cantafio.

Thanks for the interviews. The Vertigo one is very... cheeky, huh? Though I have no idea who the other two guys are, it was fun. Now time for a shallow comment: I've always been into skinnier guys, but Christian Sancho is certainly making me rethink my standards

[work in progress ] CRISTIAN SANCHO: THERE ISN'T FEAR OF TABOOS Cristian Sancho plays a gay footballer in "Botineras". His kisses with Ezequiel Castaño revived the tv series. A SATISFIED SANCHO SAYS THAT THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER OF HIS CAREER. "I AM STEPS BOYS, BUT FIRM". The sculpted body, which distracts female drivers (and male ones) on the highways with its stamp in advertising gigantografías male underwear man is proud. Not that carved torso, but by the character calzó in Botineras (Telefe, 22.15hrs) and lifted the intensity of the series. Cristian Sancho plays "Flaco" Riveiro, a striker that repatriated from Europe dribbles from his marriage to his hidden homosexuality. "The gay community complimented on my work", says excited. "Flaco" joined to tell a story of love inside the locker room. Narra from ambiguity: married to Lili, he has two sons and an apparent ideal until it shows another side front a rookie player (Lalo, Ezequiel Castaño) who discovers the world of football and his own homosexuality. "The good news is that there is no fear of taboo. "Homosexuality in football is something we talk about since long. "There are tales of players who were with such myths that all we know", judges. What should creés football is a place like "untouchable" to talk about homosexuality? Because there are many interests of through. Several European footballers blanked and it was a time bomb. Is the fear still to what will happen to the fan machismo... your character not ends up taking his homosexuality or it has assumed and hides it for convenience? It is in a bipolarity of failing to dissociate you want. What most loves in life is his family and could not live without it. He lives in a macho world, and in fact he is a macho. He believes that his wife should take care of him. With her there is love, but a brotherly love. He Sees as his mother. When I prepared for the character I start from the fact that he is a man. I didn't want to rely on the flamboyant gay stereotype. I wanted to have respect for the gay community, which is demanding of view. What you said on the subject? Did the conduct of the harvest gay in Mendoza and sos as one of the favorite of the homosexual community... Yes, and do not bother me. I had great returns. Talk about the credibility which is counting. Of the well dealt with the issue of guilt, desire, repentance. Call continue in this line, and we do not leave a "mariconeada". At age 15 (today 34), Sancho played in the lower Newell´s Old Boys and its past, warning, he played in favour of moving scenes. Says that the "model financed the actor" and that its labour present joined the paternity leave for the second time, leading to a "perfect" State: "This is my biggest, almost cinematic character." When soap opera in Mexico, had driver and mansion, but against the overact. "I went back and give small steps, but firm". Locker room love for Lalo and Riveiro, they already kissed and they are about to begin an intense affair. Sancho was at his debut in homosexual scenes. "The relationship explains from the reflection: my character is reflected ten years ago in Lalo." He is helpless and helps. "In turn, Lalo discovers another world with El Flaco", he analyses. To prepare for this role, he visited houses of footballers friends.
