Laaate recap cause I missed the show on streaming.
Show was interesting in many aspects today, but it had one major flaw. I'll get to it on the very first lesson:
63. What's really bad the first time gets worse on the second time. Just when the boys had managed to erase Sofía and Tato's scenes from our minds, she's back and they show them in bed
again [Really, show, get a clue! Who wants to see that?!
Hint: show us Mía and someone other than Salgado
] Worse yet, she has this awful blond dye job that is just painful to look at
On other news, she tells Tato she thinks Mirta's death was planned by Lily, Flaco and Lalo [yeah, like they could agree on anything
] So now the boys have vengeful Tato on their tails. On the plus side, at least it isn't Nino
64. Flaco is
mastering the fine art of having private conversations in public. Yeah, that was sarcasm
He chased Lalo around the training court, speaking louder and louder and overall making a scene. You're just so secretive, Flaco
Anguila's face when he overheard them (is it even overhearing when they're talking above normal voice tone?) was priceless. And Chiqui again tried to be a great friend and threw a ball at them to make them stop (he failed).
Well, Flaco wanted to know what Lalo had talked about with Lily and Lalo didn't want to discuss it then and there.
65. Anguila is a perfect gossiper
Not only he
loves gossip, he also possess that traditional trait of making assumptions out of conversations he only partially overheard. He got in his head that they were fighting about Lily because Lalo was having something with her
And did he really make a Rambo reference? Cause if I heard him right, it was priceless ;D
66. Better late than never is a true saying. Boring Salgado's daughter entered the show, Salgado acted clueless and Mía got fed up with him. Later on the episode, she had a nice talk with Chiqui, so I guess we're finally moving away from Laura/Salgado to Mía/Chiqui.
67. Show may be awful to us [see lesson 63] but it's usually quick to make up to us
Tonight we had plenty of... wait for it... shirtless, casual, hair down Nino (aka Lazarus)
But not only that! We got hot scenes of rough sex between Nino and that Giselle girl! They're supposed to have this BDSM thing going on and those were the raciest sex scenes I've seen in a telenovela or soap. I haven't watched that many, so correct me if I'm wrong, but it was definitely stronger than the other sex scenes on the show. Which leads us to our next lesson...
68. If you're going to have scenes of high erotic content, Nino is your character and Valenzuela is your man
The girl turns me off a little, but those were great scenes anyway. Thank you show
Plus, we got pleeeenty of tattoo sightings!
On related news, this Giselle might be hiding something. She also took a picture of sleeping Nino and sent on a text, saying something like: "Look at the mancandy I'm fucking."
69. Lalo is capable of talking sense instead of freaking out. Yeah, that was seen many episodes ago, but now he's back on that track. While
again practicing that fine art of carrying very private talks while walking around during practice, Lalo told Flaco what Lily had told him and said he wasn't happy with her meddling in his life. Flaco defended her a little and Lalo said that they could even tell the truth to a psychologist for the kids, but that he didn't want her meddling in their relationship
Then he said he liked to be free, to be together when and if possible, and Flaco seemed very saddened by that. He probably wants more commitment.
70. Chiqui and Anguila are funny. Okay, I'm cheating, that's not a new lesson, but the scene where Anguila was *trying* to interview Chiqui was great. Here's the true lesson: Anguila is great journalist material
One of his questions to Chiqui? He says that people have been talking about football players and sex before matches, and then asks: "Tell them, is masturbation sex?" ;D
71. Lalo can be fierce. That's a huge achievement for someone with a boyish face and beautiful curls, so we have to applaud him. He had this face-off with Marga where they teased, insulted and threatened each other. Marga, of course, was her homophobic self.
72. Lily is more like Marga every day. The above confrontation between Marga and Lalo was brought to an end by the arrival of Lily, who looked pretty much like Marga's lost sister. They looked like they were sharing an inside joke at Lalo's expense.
This leads us to tonight's question...
- Is a Marga and Lily alliance of doom the answer to our doubts about Lily's behavior to Lalo the other night?
