Not sure if either is used in the Emmerverse, but here are my suggestions: "What on earth is going on?" "a bloody tractor" ...I hear the last one around brits a lot, at least, and just to keep the swearing low I just modified the first one... but I don't really know. To fill space with my own whining - I keep writing, erasing and rewriting parts of my next déjà-vu chapter and it's driving me insane.  It's such a difficult chapter... |

I would imagine they'd say,
"What in the blazes is going on?"
And "bloody tractor" or "blooming tractor".

But I also know from experience that in the end you should just post it, 'cause the more I read what I write the more I want to erase everything. Then, a few days later, everything seems better and I ask myself why I found it so orrible I'm not sensitive about swearing (I mean, if it isn't over the top) but anyway I'm gonna use it just for a few sentences of course  |

It's quite funny to see all those British expressions.. I would never came up with those  So this board is educative as well Swearing doesn't bother me, but just like sex it must have a reason, some kind of nuance or how do I say this right... |

Writing seemed the only way to pretend to be doing something at least instructive xD Thanks =) |

Forget the math and stick to writing!  That was a brilliant piece and I couldn't find fault. IMHO you should think about entering that in a short story comp. xx  Oh and forget the boyfriend as well - no distractions to stop you writing more. Unless he's your muse and providing inspiration! |
