Does anyone know if Arthur's storyline is uploaded somewhere? I see that the Youtube videos have been deleted. I did a search on Dailymotion, but nothing showed up. Unfortunately John Do's original YouTube channel got closed down so it looks like we have lost all the clips he kindly provided to us in the past (mainly covering Aaron's story). He has started another channel and is now an active member here on GODT, so I'm sure he will be able to confirm himself whether or not he will be providing future clips covering Arthur's storyline. The only other YT channel that has been posting Arthur clips that I know of is MegaSoapsFan2020, though clips there are more generic and cover a wider selection of storylines. The post's immediately above this one still have videos that work (for me) and they contain pretty much everything we've had so far about Arthur. He hasn't featured in the episodes over the Christmas period. |

It looked like Marshall wanted to kiss Arthur before his idiot friends ruined everything. It's possible Marshall is secretly gay and did it to get his friends off his back. It really did look like Marshall liked Arthur Back, and that it wasn't just one sided. Maybe I'm too optimistic. I just have a feeling it's not as easy as Marshall is straight and bullying Arthur. I think there's a twist. I guess we'll see if I'm right or not.

There was another scene in yesterday's Episode that I thought might end up in a clip, but unfortunately it hasn't. It featured Arthur and Marshall sitting together in the cafe with Arthur showing Marshall some of his assembly preparations on his laptop. The scene ended with them laughing about something then looking at each other which turned into a long meaningful gaze. Nicola, who had been keeping an eye on the pair, sussed out what was going on.

I'm actually really enjoying Arthur's storyline. I didn't have high hopes, but it's been good so far. I was pleasently surprised. It's been done really well. It's a breath of fresh air amid all the cancellations lately. I never trust American tv shows with gay characters, but British shows usually do the gay characters/storylines justice, the exception is British shows on Netflix (yes, I'm talking about Half Bad). I think they nailed the casting of Marshall too, because Marshall and Arthur have great chemistry. Can't wait to see more of them! I just hope this won't have a bad outcome, I fear the worst because of Marshall's homophobic dad.

danny needs to stay away from the character of aaron he is happy right now with a wife and kid going back to aaron will make him unhappy at home since aaron is a sad and pathetic character for the last couple of years

The only way Aaron could help is as a cautionary tale to Marshall of how self-loathing, staying closeted and bullying openly gay kids lead to a lifetime of misery for both you and the people around you. Then again, Aaron did successfully get his childhood bullying victim to fall in love with him, so maybe he can teach those tips to Marshall if he wants to get back into Arthur's good graces?
Frankly Aaron is totally unnecessary to this plot. And while I feel sorry for Marshall, Arthur is a 15/16yo just coming out - he really doesn't need to deal with this.

And of course this happened right after I praised the storyline, sigh. Such a cliche. I'm still not willing to give up on this storyline though. I still think there's a way for Arthur and Marshall to be happy together. I need Arthur to stop being so kind though. Arthur needs to tell Marshall to fuck off and stop helping him. Then it's Marshall who needs to go after Arthur. I will say though, as sick as I am of sad and depressing gay storylines, this is realistic, Marshall's dad not being accepting I mean. There's a reason Marshall is reacting this way. It's realistic, though sad, of course. Not every parent is as accepting as Laurel, and it's important we see that.

Earlier in the episode, a minor scene had the police come to the cottage and ask Marcus if they could ask him a few questions about punching Greg "down at the station". He left with them.
