Well, I read about Blaine with Dave. Even on paper it reads already like a big joke if these spoilers are true, lol. Are we sure there’s not at least a dream sequence or two here? That Kurt’s former bully would get with Kurt, even reformed, isn’t really welcome IMO, friendliness and ability to grow are plenty enough, but how is Blaine getting together with his so-called soulmate’s former bully so fast much better? I can’t fault the relative consistency in his character though after the quick cheating and lusting after other guys in the past, and of course there’s another round of ‘poor Blaine’.
Kurt finally gets some sense back by realizing the marriage thing is a mistake, just to return to his resident doormat/prop self, crawl to get Blaine back, the only guy ever he's allowed to have anything genuine with apparently, with this time his former bully as competition for that great prize. Then what, the fairy tale will carry on that he’ll end up proposing this time and then everyone will believe there’s a happily ever after/sunset ending for this jaded pairing that couldn’t even make it in a few months back together, lying and other issues included? All of it back to Lima, a place Kurt badly wanted to leave behind if memory serves me right and after fighting his way into that NY school. Because for every step forward this character can take, he has to make 10 backwards. What could have been for the original award-winning Kurt character has been quite a sad thing among plenty of sad things with this show, while the best thing about it all is remembering that this is a fiction and an ending one at that. I hope the ones left watching will somewhat enjoy the ride though. Amazing.
