thanks! i am glad that he is coming to terms with everything... still upset that he was Kurt's first kiss though  nitty, i haven't heard anything about it, but i think this will probably be his last ep. it sounds like he is finally living his life which equals happy ending which usually means bye bye, especially since he has changed schools. |

What did you make of Ausiello's comment about wanting Karofsky & Kurt and Blaine & Seb? Could happen since Kurt is going and Blaine isn't... Not much. Ausiello is known to be a Karofsky+Kurt shipper. He also tweeted that the Karofsky scene was his favorite from the whole ep.  I've read reviews and tweets from at least 6 other reporters who have already seen the ep and none of these people were raving about the Karofsky scene. And I'm pretty sure Kurt won't be going to NY just yet. The writers of Glee have stated over and over that just because Kurt is a senior this year, it doesn't mean he won't be on Glee next season. I think he won't get into his dream college and will decide to go to that local school Ms. P. was talking about until he can audition again for the following year's enrollment. |

OMG! Kurt was so awesome when meeting Sebastian! ;D I just laughed when he slipped his arm into Blaine's (Chris has such an outstanding, beautiful face!  I think I could look at it forever!) and was all, "he's mine, sweetie, get your own!" without it being over the top  While Sebastian was just lame; too much, too soon, my man I just hope we'll get to see more of Karofsky during the season because I'd really like to see him out and proud and happy with a guy |

I officially love Sebastian and Blaine. I love how flustered he makes Blaine, it's a neat and tidy mirroring of how flustered Blaine made Kurt in the beginning.
Not too sure how I feel about Kurt in that scene. I think generally I feel a bit sad that he so quickly slipped back into "defensive bitchy queen" mode, like he was so utterly threatened by Seb which, if he was so sure of his rel with Blaine, (sure enough to sleep with him which, as we know, has been madeout to be a big "you matter" deal to him), then he shouldn't be that threatened.
I guess I'm trying to make young guys have too many adult feelings and reactions, but I think my overall feeling was that I was sad Kurt is still so insecure in the fact that someone loves him.
Having said all that, I do kind of like the idea of Seb and Blaine together at the end of the season, for continuity, since we know think Kurt is leaving and Blaine is staying. Seb looks a good addition- from what I've seen, he's hot, he can dance, sing and act. Ticks all my Glee boxes.
As for the gay bar stuff, I'm actually kind of sad that (I think Ausiello?) tweeted that the scene with Karofsky was sweet and felt like closure- I hope it isn't the last we see him, seems a bit abrupt to me. It would be nice to keep Dave in, because again continuity is good, also we still haven't seen Max sing, and we know he can! Plus, after being portrayed as such a bully it would be nice to see his other side. And the idea of baby bear Karofsky is just too appealing.
I'd love a scenario later in the season when Seb and Blaine are getting closer and closer (maybe working on a singing project outside of school?), Kurt is threatened, and so goes back to the gay bar and turns to Dave for help. It would have a good sense of "full circle" for me for Kurt and Dave to end up friends before Kurt leaves.

She was responding to a specific question that I asked about a tweet that wasn't directly relevant to the episode and was speculation/ aspiration from the tweeter Nitty very clearly stated that the tweets she quoted were the episode relevant ones, including Ausiello's one about the sweet scene between Kurt and Dave, and the fact that Dave was much more interesting when not slamming people into lockers. She doesn't have to post ANY here, I think it's kind of her to take the time to do so. Rather than criticising her, maybe you should take the time to post any Dave/ Kurtofsky relevant material you find, to make a positive contribution? Ultimately, we all post what attracts us and what we are interested in. |

I'm sure you could PM ANY of the people on here and ask them about it- even though I think most of us don't like the idea of Kurt and Dave, we're not mean and I'm sure would all be willing to point you towards where we heard/ read something! Personally, I think "ship" wars are ridiculous and pointless. There are real people around the world in terrible situations, dying everyday, that need our thoughts and attention and emotion much more than some fictional characters on a TV programme. For me, an interesting storyline is always more important than a "ship", so I have no precious ideas about characters I love behaving in ways I want them too- I just want them to behave in believable ways (therefore I was frustrated by Blaine transferring, for example). In fact i know about "pirates" because they´re on tumblr...but it´s like trying to understand japanese for me.... so confusing.... Besides, here, in Spain, nobody follows or knows a thing about Glee...or only a few people, very very few people ( i only know one person that saw one episode once ....) so....if you see all this together....(+ all the time i spend trying to understand and make others understand me in english... ) i can´t be involved in any ship war , besides i think they are stupid....it´s just that i saw such ugly things in some blogs about the way some klainers treat the pirates that....maybe i become a little defensive too...i apologize again, i´m sure Nitty is a sweet person. I know there are more important things in life than storylines in a tv show...and that´s the point ...life is ugly and unfair and full of **** and i think it´s not wrong to escape reality from time to time. I´ve been fighting with a long term depression ( 12 years by now) and there are only a few things in the world that really make me feel "something" in life...my little daughter ( 6 beautiful years old), my friends...and, as bizarre as it sounds....the Kurtofsky thing.... i don´t know why, it´s irrational but i can´t help it...it´s important for me... I hope this explains why i said what i said....sorry Nitty!!! |

I loved Kurt (as usual) in that clip.
He does his queenliness quite serenely,
yet shows that there's a volcano just about
to erupt underneath
.
What caught my attention more than
anything is how the scene didn't seem
to "catch fire" until he arrived. Blaine
(not Darren Criss, I repeat not talking about
Darren Criss) is extremely bland, so much
that once Kurt arrived, I barely knew he
was there.
I hope Kurt and Sebastian get a few scenes
alone. It would be fun to watch the fireworks.

You're welcome. I know how lonely shipdom can be if you can't talk to someone about it. I have been reading a lot of Finchel fanfics now, but I am considering taking a break. I might give Kurtofsky a try. I have never really pictured them as a couple, but it might be a nice break. I did enjoy seeing them get along after Kurt transferred back. If I get into them, I would be willing to talk to you about them. *hugs* |

I love Darren Criss and, having seen him onstage in an intimate venue performing his own material, and also being pretty much next to the Warblers stage at the O2 Glee gig, I can definitely vouch for the fact that he has amazing presence onstage... however, I can admit there is more than a grain of truth in the fact that Blaine is bland. I long for more of a sniff if his backstory, if only so that Darren can add layers to the character, because I want to see him challenged more. And yes. THe fur would/ will fly with Seb and Kurt! |
