Sorry, but i don't believe him. I know Ryan Murphy is known for changing his mind a lot, but nobody cast an actor to play a gay role and change his mind because he has great chemistry with one of the actress (a lot of actors playing gay characters have good chemistry with their female coleagues)

This give some credit to Chord's story when they decided to drop Sam/Kurt, they went looking for a new boyfriend/gay character for Kurt. Ryan Murphy do lie about storylines but this is Chord we are talking about. Why would he lie and make up a story about this? With Darren Criss (Blaine) becoming a regular for the rest of this season and next, it highly likely he will become Kurt's boyfriend. Chord is just a recurring character for this season.

did anyone else think the ep was a bit odd this week? I found Blaine's slightly cold behaviour to Kurt a bit strange, contrasting with the warmth of previous encounters?
(also, as someone who has loved Florence and the Machine for 2 years, i was wincing a lot at the version of Dog Days- Glee kids, I love you, but don't try and do someone like her, you can't improve on something so unique and strangely beautiful!)

Yes, it was odd..and it reflects what Ryan Murphy said in an interview. He said that he keeps going back and forth on what to do with their relationship. One minute he wants them as boyfriends, the next, as friends with Blaine the mentor. He said he wanted the viewers to decide. I'm curious about next week's episode. Will they sing "Baby, It's Cold Outside" on the show?

Yeah, I got WHAT they were trying to do- maybe it was just clumsily written, because I felt Blaine's "trying to impart knowledge" was a bit Stepford wives, without the warmth or humour of previous eps, but yet the warmth was there in the subtextual moments (ie the adoring glances when Kurt was singing etc) ... hummmmmmmmmm

I didn't know where to put this so I put it here.Show creator confirms that original "Glee" cast will graduate from the series.
Nothing lasts forever, including a student's time at William McKinley High School.Glee creator Ryan Murphy has recently confirmed plans to replace the show's original cast by 2012.
"I think you have to be true to the fact that here is a group of people who come and go in these teachers' lives-they graduate and they're gone,"Murphy recently told The Herald Sun."When some of them finish their run at high school it will be very teary episodes."
You may find it uncomfortable or even absurd to envision "Glee" without the likes of Rachel Berry (Lea Michele),Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) and all of your favorite originals. While Murphy echoes these sentiments,he also admits that the show must go on.
"For me it will be particularly tough but a new crop (of actors) will come in," stated Murphy.

^ I don't know what you're talking about; I felt warmth the entire time Blaine was on the screen. ;D that's YOU though!!! You know exactly what I mean- all that stuffy "here at McKinley we do things differently/ we like to reward students with a good attitude.." it was bordering on downright patronising and not what I think Blaine would have said (based on previous experience) in those "Blaine-Kurt" private moments- sure, with the others around, but not in those moments, not after all that fun behaviour in the diner I blame it on the writing and directing- this is what often happens when writers/ directors are unsure as to which way to go with a character- it ends up in these confused and contradictory scenes... grr!!

Someone at another site made a comment that on Oprah, Murphy said the cast would never graduate lol.

It's an awesome avatar! I love Lenny & Carsten, and that little pic is such a perfect glimpse into them (even considering the scene it's from). It's gonna stay put until I happen to come across a worthy successor ;D.

*pouts at Nitty putting up a hulu clip*- only available in USA sweetie! Aww, sucky. Here's a little recap of the most interesting things they said: Chris: At this point, Blaine and Kurt have become friends, and of course, Kurt may be feeling a little jittery butterflies for Blaine. Darren: The first day I met Chris we had dinner, and I was like wow, this is gonna be an awesome part! Darren: I'm so humbled by everybody here and the role itself...just everything! It's really exciting and I hope they keep me around. (makes a really funny, nervous face) ;D Chris: It's so strange to be without the other Glee kids because (his voice goes up really high here, like a cartoon mouse) we're family! And it's weird to be without my sisters and my brothers. (pouts)Matthew(Mr. Schue): I don't know how long Kurt's gonna be with the Warblers, but it's sad, real sad. There's a missing link, there's a missing energy without him in the choir room. *giggles at "warm" joke and wonders if Nitty is also thinking of the German meaning* YAY! OMG, I thought I was the only one!

While I agree that they do need to replace the cast if they want to keep the show going, I fear how this might affect the show.... In order to not introduce an entirely new cast of character, they either need to keep several of the current cast on as being in a lower grade... or they have to introduce several new characters next year for continuity sake... if that happens, the cast will probably become too large to work well...

^ Looks like we're gonna have to wait a little longer. BUT squee @ Klaine's little scene today. Very cute. The looks they were giving each other after the song were just adorable. And Kurt saying he's in love? OMG! ;D I wonder if Blaine's going to be added to the Glee thread pic soon. Maybe the peps in charge are waiting until Klaine become a couple.
