Loved all the Kurt stuff of course, and especially liked the scene of Burt, Kurt, Blaine, and Finn regarding Kurt's kilt. And yes it was super sweet of Blaine to jump in and dance with Kurt. However, the scene of the episode for me was the one between Kurt and Dave in the hallway where Dave shows he's truly sorry and Kurt replies that he knows Dave is. Both actors brought it in my opinion. Max is doing wonderfully with this storyline I think. Also, as a gay man, I can totally understand Dave not coming out in the middle of prom and think it's completely understandable. Sure it wasn't happy and rainbows and puppies, but no gay kid I knew would have had the strength to come out in front of hundreds of fellow students at prom, so I'll give him a pass and hope for the best. That he'll eventually come to terms with being gay and to come out. Have I mentioned that I love the fact that we have 3 gay male characters and lesbians too, on one of the most popular TV shows in America?

No character on GLEE is a saint, they all have their flaws and that manifest in different ways, at different times, under different circumstances. Before Kurt met Blaine folks were calling him The Devil and an evil stalker of straight men. It's just "blah, blah, blah" to me.
The great thing about GLEE is that every character does wonderfully unselfish things and incredibly selfish things all the time (sometimes the same character in the same episode).
It's more like actual human teenagers than folks give it credit for.

Okay, for some reason the Ugly Betty one annoyed me. IDK, something about Kurt breaking down first just made it so much more... real? emotional? And Justin turning the moment into a time to thank his mom was a bit ridiculous in my opinion. But that's a whole different topic I guess. And about making Kurt a saint this season... what? I've been a fan of Kurt's since season 1, and what was so "bad" about him that they've gotten rid of this season? Yeah, they've flung a lot more shit at him, but he still has those undeniably "Kurt" moments and he's still my favorite character. The part about that article that I'll agree with is that they treat sexuality more seriously than they do with other subjects. But it's still an enjoyable show and they still do bring up serious issues, so I actually see no problem with this... Plus I mean drama about body issues and relationships have already been done before; it's nice to see a new source of drama, you know?

Finally had a chance to watch it. I'm happy . I like that they're trying to redeem Karofsky. I also like that they're taking their time. I don't expect (or necessarily want) Kurt to forgive him any time soon, but it's nice to see the progression. Finn getting really jealous over Rachel and Jesse ... meh. I get it, but I'm just not terribly interested in that triangle (is it now a square?). I liked Sam and Mercedes. Last (but not least), I liked Kurt and Blaine. I like getting that little bit of insight into Blaine's past. And I like that Blaine came up right behind him to dance with him. I'm not quite sure what to think of the whole Kurt as Prom Queen thing. Why was he the overwhelming write-in vote? Was it intended to be an insult or mockery, as he assumed? I dunno. And, of course the song was ABBA's Dancing Queen . Either way, Kurt & Blaine's dance at the end was nice.

I can't stop watching the hallway scene between Kurt and Dave. I never understood why people shipped Kurtofsky until now. And I understand that putting them together may send the wrong message. But, wow, Chris and Max have great chemistry.
I felt that Dave was making more than an apology to Kurt. The scene was almost romantic, at least from him. I saw a real couple in that scene and I know that wasn't the intention (or was it?). But when you have two actors who are naturally in sync like that, their characters should be given a try.
I like Blaine, and I know that Klaine has a huge fanbase, but I don't see Klaine as a romantic couple. Blaine says things like he's so into Kurt, but IMO he doesn't really show it, but when Dave apologized and cried, I felt so much from him, and I think Kurt did also.
Blaine should continue on the show and sing, and be a great friend to Kurt, but IMO, Kurt's bf should be Dave. RM is known for his "shockability", so I hope he puts Kurt and Dave together, even if it would be very controversial.

I don't know. I actually have the opposite opinion. It's interesting how people perceive chemistry so differently. I think Dave and Kurt would be really interesting as a friendship, but I think that's all it should be. I honestly really do think it would send the wrong message, but I also just think that Dave's not even close to ready to be in an out and proud relationship and that his story shouldn't really be about that but rather about his coming out process and becoming comfortable with himself. Plus, I don't really see any romantic chemistry between them, but that's just an opinion. I also think Kurt and Blaine have tons of chemistry and they're adorable so, like I said, it's just interesting how differently people see chemistry. I really liked that scene with Karofsky apologizing to Kurt, but I just saw it more as him realizing what he had done and less about him being attracted to Kurt. Either way, though, that was a great step forward for his character.

Zathras.. From the hallway scene ( conveniently located above ;D) It looked to me like Kurt already has forgiven Dave. That seems to be the general consensus online too. One doesn't need to actually say the 3 words . It looked to me like Kurt's "I know. I know." and the compassionate look on his face meant he forgave Dave. Well, that's my thought anyway.

RM is known for his "shockability", so I hope he puts Kurt and Dave together, even if it would be very controversial. For one thing, what purpose would Blaine serve if he weren't with Kurt? There's already a section of the fandom that hates him for existing and taking him away from Kurt would only add to that. Also, Chris said in one the behind-the-scenes things that Dave and Kurt together would send a bad message. I mean I love them as friends and everything and Dave's little "You wait for me, alright?" could be seen as cute foreshadowing of something more, but I just don't think they're going to go there. Ha, funny, I love Kurt and Blaine together (obviously), but I don't see them as like, oozing chemistry. They have a fair amount, and it's very believable and everything, but I still feel like Kurt and Dave have pretty much the same amount... And this might be just my opinion, but I think Kurt has the most chemistry out of all the glee guys with Sam. It would be so interesting if they stuck with that storyline...

Well, I don't think Kurt and Blaine's chemistry is off the charts, but I think they have as much as any other couple on the show and that they work well together and are just adorable. I also agree that Kurt and Dave have chemistry. For me, though, their chemistry isn't romantic. I just can't see it and I agree that I really don't think the show's going to go there.
I get the Sam thing and I totally wanted him to be the boyfriend in the beginning, but I think they have tried to be as straightforward as possible in telling us that he's not gay, especially in the Rumours episode, and I think they may be setting something up for Sam and Mercedes (or I hope so, because it's about time that girl got a boyfriend!)
Overall, though, I just don't think they're going to break up Klaine anytime soon because, beyond the fact that they're one of the show's most popular couples, they want Darren to stick around and Blaine wouldn't really make sense on the show without being attached to Kurt.

I see why you came to that conclusion, but I didn't. I'm not looking for him to say "I forgive you," but I actually thought Kurt looked uneasy toward the end of that conversation. Just my own interpretation.

Hee! And I thought Kurt looked like he was sort of like "this kid (Dave) is totally not doing so great and it's miserable to be in the closet". I guess that's the beauty/curse of not spelling every little thing out for us viewers. Leaves things open to interpretation! ;D Also? Chord looks so different with the shorter, browner hair!

^ Ditto. My roommate and I were watching Glee a while ago (The Rocky Horror Glee Show ep) and she pointed at Finn and said, "He actually looks cute with those glasses on." And I had to agree. I had never seen Finn as hot until he was "Brad." ;D ****************************** LOL @ the idea of Kurt and Blaine flirting back and forth at each other like this for hours on end: I'm a dork. Love. So beautiful. Poke. Akdjfdalskdjf. ;D

I'm glad that Sue at least for this episode was allowed to be a fully realized person.

Okay, everything with Sue and Jean was perfect and tear-jerking. The funeral made me cry so much.
The rest, however, felt like something out of bad fanfiction. I loved the performances and the little rifts with Jesse, but sometimes the plot left me just scratching my head.
The behind the scenes is the most adorable thing ever though (it might just be my soft spot for Jon Groff, though - and my immense love for Chris)

So there was a livestream with Ian Brennan (one of the writers) after the show. They seemed to like.. purposefully skip over talking about Chris/Kurt, but there were some interesting tidbits: Ryan Murphy's dad recently died and that's the influence behind this whole funeral episode. Apparently the whole "I can't finish this eulogy" happened to his brother.... They tried to ask about that "It Gets Better" google ad, and Ian didn't even know what Google Chrome was. Brad Falchuck wrote the eulogy and the St. Berry scenes in this episode. Ian does the recaps at the beginning of the episodes. This blew my mind, but apparently everyone already knew this. Sue/Santana are Ian's favorite characters. The show got songs from Paul McCartney on a cassette (and they didn't say this, but I bet that's why Kurt used a cassette during Original Song) The New York episode cost $6 million

I'm hoping next week we see Blaine saying good-bye to Kurt as he goes off to New York and he gives him a kiss. I'm hoping this will happen I know nothing.
