Btw, does Alex have a bit of stubble on his chin right now? Suits him! And in the end, those eyes!! I mean, I love Felix' Bambi eyes, but Alex' green eyes...  Am I bad, when I say that I don't really feel sorry for Emily? Yeah Alex really won the gene pool lottery with those eyes. I feel a little sorry for Emily, but I know that in the long run that she will be ok. Girls like her are never single on soaps long, they have messed up romance lives sure. But they always seem to find someone new. |

I'm afraid my milk of human kindness has been exhausted for Emily. Yes, it's a regrettable fact that she will be psychologically injured by Lenny's "coming out". However....her interests have always been herself; she's totally self absorbed and remains so. Even now her anger is about her "loss", not about any turmoil Lenny may be experiencing.

I'm afraid my milk of human kindness has been exhausted for Emily. Yes, it's a regrettable fact that she will be psychologically injured by Lenny's "coming out". However....her interests have always been herself; she's totally self absorbed and remains so. Even now her anger is about her "loss", not about any turmoil Lenny may be experiencing. Good point, Romancejunkie, about Emily still so self-absorbed at "her loss" that she couldn't care less about Lenny's inner turmoil. Still, I can't stand to see a girl cry, so I feel for her somewhat. I guess the writers want to take her down this angry path, which leads to the big fight. And then FINALLY she will start growing as a human being when she shows sympathy for Lenny and the trouble she put him in. I hope.

Nearly cracked a rib laughing at your post Liz. I'm afraid I share your skepticism. I doubt that Emily ever rivals Mother Teresa for empathy. I do wonder what is going to happen to her character once the schizm with Lenny is complete. But, I suspect Cheerios is correct and they will retred her and put her back on the road.

It was in the last spoilers, in the non-Cenny parts, that she somehow gets together with Patrick, but she's really mean to him or something. Gotta read it again. ;D

Well, it only says that Patrick and Emily get closer, but she's sick of men at the moment and she wreaks it on him. Not much more. May be she will try "the other side" to see what happens (I would like either Pia or Jasmin (hot!). Why not? VL already had 2 awesome gay couples at the same time... |

I don't know, as much as I like Reimann and Lenny (of course), especially together, I do feel sorry for Emily. Of course, she's not really the 'nice girl'-type, but she's one of my favorite females on the show and she's definitely been nice to Lenny for her standards. I was totally on her side when he was always lazing around with Tuner and the gang. xD And judging from the spoilers, she still cares about him, especially after he's been hurt. I think their relationship was built up well and as a person, I do like her character. But naturally... as a couple, I like Carsten/Lenny a lot more, so I'm glad it's finally come to something after *months* of waiting! I'm eager to see the big clash with the gang... I can't really imagine the aftermath yet, with Lenny going after him to Barcelona  |

I love the new Gerner and reading something could happen between him and my other favourite character Emily makes me very happy  But I think this time Emily really tried to be honest and "loved" Lenny (Maybe not the greatest love but she tried to build something stable). Even if she's sometimes not the nicest girl ever she didn't deserve how Lenny treated her in the last weeks. |

Emily's been through a lot the last episodes, and all the way, I couldn't help but feel sorry for her; may be she's not the nicest girl, the smartest, or the most supportive ( and she annoys the hell out of me, btw), but as far as I know she's not a mean bitch either. I'm sure - in her particular way- she loves Lenny, and that all she wanted was to have a normal (average) relationship like everybody else. As a gay man I perfectly understand Lenny's turmoil and I'm dying to see him coupled with Carsten ( God!), but that doesn't mean that I don't care about the people he's hurting in the meantime (his girlfriend and his ex-best buddy/future lover).  I'm sorry but I can't easily overlook/dismiss their suffering. I truly believed Emily when she told Lenny that she loved him, and I hated his answer: " hem...me too". I so wanted to kick his cute as hell ass...  |

Not to prolong the discussion of Emily's merits, but I truly don't think she was terribly invested in their relationship, just what she could extract from it. I always had the sense that if offered a singing gig she would happily without second thought walk away from the relationship. She was, however, a useful catalyst to ignite the reaction which will bring Lenny to a new steady state (My apology for the tortured metaphor here).

Does anyone close to Lenny know the full extent of what happen to him at the Bund? I think Carsten knows to some point, but not everything. I just want to give a hug to everyone involved. |

Lovecars, Mycatfox, you’re welcome! I wish we won’t need them again, but it seems we will Alexander knows about the physical abuse (he found Lenny’s drawings of a beaten up boy). He even reported about that to Bund (what actually made everything worse). But (I’m sure) he doesn’t know anything about the mental abuse. Lucy (lil' detective) has always suspected something. Lenny told her that other guys were very mean. But did she get that they were “proper scums”? Iris just worries about her baby-boy as a mother (almost perfect one). But what does she realize? (I don’t know) Emily (poor/naive/selfish girl) have no clue (as far as I know). Carsten (dear Bambi) knows much, but not everything. (I think he even heard how they call Lenny names, but I’m not sure). And none of them forms the whole clear picture. Everyone doesn’t have an idea that there was an inhumanly brutal gay bashing.And I sincerely believe that only Carsten is able to help Lenny to overcome this tragedy and leave the past behind once and for all. (If only Lenny could confide in him)!!!
