Love that hug between Bilal and Lucas. Too bad they aren't for the long haul because they would be good together. I'll be crossing my fingers that Bilal may make a return.

Bilal tells Lucas he needed to go for a walk but somehow he ended up there. He tells Lucas that they didn't get married. Being married to Nuran was the only thing he had to hold on to. And now it's gone. He starts crying and Lucas gives him a hug. In the next scene they're in Lucas' room. Bilal has taken off his wedding suit and is wearing some of Lucas clothes. Lucas tries to get Bilal to talk. He wants to know how Nuran and his parents reacted to the news. But Bilal doesn't talk much. So Lucas doesn't know it's Nuran who decided to not get married. Lucas also asks what Bilal said about him. Again, Bilal doesn't answer. He starts to kiss Lucas. In the next scene Lucas says Bilal has to say something. He asks if this means Bilal is choosing him. And Bilal says yes. "I just know it feels better when I'm with you. Then everything is better." Bilal says he wants to see Lucas more often. And Lucas wants that too. They start kissing and end up kissing on the bed. A scene that wasn't in the shortie: Laura and Nuran's mother Elif are having a drink at De Rozenboom. Janine is there to go to the gym, but Laura invites her to have a drink with them. They tell her the wedding didn't happen. Janine asks what happened. Elif says it's a long story but that in the end it's better this way. Janine agrees. Laura asks if she knew about it. Janine says she knew because of Lucas. Elif asks who Lucas is and Janine says it's the guy Bilal is in love with.   At the end of the episode there's a preview scene of Lucas and Bilal in bed. Lucas is very happy. He wants Bilal to get to know his mother and Ludo better. He wants to show off Bilal... During all of this Lucas is making photos of them with his phone. When Bilal sees that he says Lucas can't do that... So my guess is that Bilal wants a secret relationship (especially because his family doesn't know he's gay). But Elif might tell them. I can see a scene where Bilal's parents badmouth Nuran. Elif could use what she knows from Janine about Bilal as a way to defend her daughter.  |

It's getting good! Can't wait for Monday's episode! I'm hoping Bilal doesn't leave until showing off the haircut he got not too long ago! That should be coming up soon, shouldn't it? |

I don't think we'll see that haircut on the show. I have a feeling next week is Bilal's last week on the show since Lucas wants to go on a man hunt on Thursday and Bilal is not mentioned in the spoilers anymore. Sinan has been working on other projects so maybe that's why he was written out. But I do think it's possible he will come back later this season. Maybe right when Lucas has started dating someone else...? It's soap after all. |

Bilal can leave and get his head together (Sinan can do his other projects) then he can come back with a new hair cut and a desire to win Lucas back. Yes. That is what will happen.

It looks like tomorrow is Bilal's last appearance.  The episode starts with a happy Lucas and Bilal. But when Lucas finds out Bilal wasn't the one who stopped the wedding and that he wants to have a secret relationship, he gets angry and wants Bilal to leave. Bilal explains that he wants to be with Lucas, but it would be too much of a sacrifice for him to give up his family. The two have a tearful goodbye. Nuran's mom Elif tells Nuran that Bilal is going to struggle if he follows his heart like Nuran is doing. Later Bilal shows up and Nuran says she hopes some day he will be able to really be who he is. |

That's a very abrupt end of the storyline.
Maybe he will reappear when Lucas is dating another guy

That's a very difficult ending but inevitable I think. Bilal was not ready and that's okay. He and Lucas care about each other but that isn't always enough. Hopefully Nuran and Bilal will stay friends and he has a support network. But even if he stays closeted to his parents and family, he will need time to adjust to how he thinks about himself. It will be very difficult because his family will be constantly after him about the cancelled wedding and all that. But hopefully he'll come BACK, maybe as a summer cliffhanger, just as Lucas is about to fall again. I don't know. I just really, really like him (character and actor). I have very much enjoyed this storyline. It shows SO MUCH strength in Lucas that he's able to be true to himself and not let himself be anyone's secret boyfriend. All that breeds is lies and resentment and Lucas is better than that. Lucas continues to be my favorite gay soap character of all the soaps I've watched. Thank you Mark for continuing to bring his story to us and I can't wait to see how the "man hunt" goes. LOL |

I'm really hoping that Bilal comes back, and that this break is just for Sinan to fulfill other commitments. I don't want to see Lucas cry anymore, its so hard to watch.

I know some people watch the whole show, not just Lucas. On tomorrow's episode it is revealed that Bing has lymphoma cancer...  We know at some point Bing is going to take his frustration out on Lucas. So maybe Lucas will be involved in that story now that his own story is over (until his next story begins of course). I would like that. Bing is not my favorite character at all, but as friends I do like Bing and Lucas. |
