Speculation is fun.  If we're going to see Maxime in the States then it's probably just filmed over here. They've dome that before when Nina was staying with Stefano and Lucas in New York after being raped. We saw Nina in an apartment. We didn't see Stefano or Lucas. Right now the show is filming in South Africa. One thing I know is that this is without Ferry/Lucas. |

Ferry just confirmed it in a TV interview: Bilal is a guest role. But he is going to stay a while.

Well, you never know, sometimes a recurring role ends being very popular.
I hope they surprise us with the storyline, because it seems quite predictable, and quite too similar to Lucas/Edwin begining of relationship (from a different point, but very similar)

They film a long time in advance. Especially now with the summer break. I think Bilal's last scenes have already been filmed. They can always decide to bring him back later, but first he's going to leave. New stories have been prepared... It's possible, but then I think it's going to take a while.

Populatity doesn't ensure anything. Edwin was hugely popular and they killed him off. Bilal may become popular but that doesn't mean they'll bring him back.

I guess the show really won't settle Lucas down with a guy for a long time then, if ever. I wasn't sure what they were going to do with Bilal, and then they had Edwin come to Lucas in a dream and give him his blessing to pursue Bilal like maybe he was Lucas' next great love, but now he's leaving in a few months. My head is spinning, lol. So who knows if they'll ever bring him back and whether he'll be the one the show wants Lucas to eventually go the distance with, but as long as he stays alive, it's a possibility I suppose.
I just hope they figure out some different drama for his love life in the future beyond just hostile closet cases though. I howled with laughter at the acknowledgment there was of it in today's episode, when he asked why these guys always either die or want to kill him.

Yeah, it's probably September in the story as well. But that's usually not a very cold month either. Today is even very summer-like.  It's obviously not a big deal. Just something that stuck out to me.  |

Well, everybody knows that i think killing Edwin was a big big mistake. And generally popularity it matters, maybe not on GTST, but in other shows, it matters a lot. Not that i'm specially interested in Bilal to become regular. I hope they surprise us, but the storyline seems quite predictable, and frankly, i would prefer something different for Lucas |

Sunday when i was coming home from the beach (25 grades celsius) i pass for a guy with the same type of cap (maybe this is not the correct word, but it was something similar of what Bilal is wearing) |

On Monday's episode:  Nuran and Bilal announce they moved forward their wedding day. Jef asks if that's because of a special reason. Bilal then kind of loses his temper and asks (with an angry voice) if they need a reason. |

I kinda wish Maxime or Nina had walked in earlier when Bilal was up on on Lucas' neck like an angry crab so we could have seen one of them kick the crap out of him. Because you know getting hit by a woman would be worse in his eyes than making out with a boy. ;D ;D ;D Just for once I'd like someone other than Noud to smack a homophobe! Well, if Bilal isn't long for this show, I"m okay with that. Enough of prospective boyfriends who have to smack you around as part of the courting process. It's long past time for a relationship for Lucas where sexuality or sexual confusion isn't a factor in the story.

Lucas fights back! ;D ;D I knew that would make some people here happy. There are also great scenes between Rikki and Sjoerd. Sjoerd tells her he doesn't want a new brother. He misses Edwin. He also says Edwin always knew what to do in difficult situations. The Tim story is my favorite at the moment. Also: Maxime says she'll be in Argentina for a few months. I hate that. She's my favorite female character. Especially in combination with Lucas. |

She and Lucas and Nina together are so great and Maxime and Janine sparing over every tiny thing is awesome. Ludo always looks at them like he's prepared for a cat fight to break out ;D ;D |

No, little Bram is living with Rikki and Rik. Sjoerd is living there now too. Bianca has been staying at a hotel because she's furious at Anton. In today's episode she moves to the Sanders house to stay there for a couple of days. Anton tells Bianca he wants nothing to do with Tim, but this makes Bianca even more angry. She thinks Anton should take responsibility and get to know his son. In another scene Tim was about to leave town but Jef convinces him to keep trying it with Anton. So Tim goes to Anton with all of his stuff and announces, without asking, that he's moving in. Maxime versus Janine is so much fun. It does seem like we'll have to miss Maxime for at least a few weeks. I don't like that at all. On Monday Sjoerd goes to Edwin's grave. He says he wishes Tim would be lying there instead of Edwin. |
