I now find the David character officially disgusting and hope he leaves the show. He f*cked Ruth as he's playing along with Gorka's blackmail plan. He's destroying Ruth,, severely disrespecting Fer... He's scum Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I like him and am glad he is staying. Just remember this is a soap opera and it involves a lot of drama Gorka is in complete control and poor David has to follow along. I hope Fer and David get together, but like I said everyone is entitled to their opinion, but please don't spread your HATE in the David thread OK, bye bye! And a beautiful picture of Adrian to remove the hate:  -Juan |

Great to see you again.  Thank you meidocfan. There's no preview of next episode of FOQ (it's so horrible) but I really want to know that We will got next episode . I can remember him on Los Serranos, it was a show......... I thought that he's really hot and cute(however he was too young) .... so I like to see him on FOQ now. I love him with the longer hair, Adrian's certainly come a long way since his early TV series. It's more difficult for child stars as they get older but Adrian is really hot and I believe he'll be around for a long time to come. I've got to be honest, i find quite surprising the popularity that Adrian has (at least on the net). In the web page, he is the most popular character (tied with Yoli), wich is just amazing for a non regular (at least this season).
And other thing that surprise me is that most of the teenage girls are totally in favour of a Fer-David relationship, even before it was clear that David is gay.
I know in other countries gay couples are quite popular between teen girls, but here i wasn't sure that it will be the same way, maybe because this kind of teen gay pairing wasn't on screen since Santi and Ruben in Al salir de clase almost ten years ago.
I'm quite surprised by the popularity of Fer, he is almost tied with Cabano (who in the real world is the most popular by far) and is way ahead of Gorka, Julio or Quino

Well, i don't think that he was so extremely popular. Yes Los Serrano (even i hate that show) was a popular one, but i can't remember him, he wasn't one of the main characters.
And i find amazing that girls just embrace someone who is just a controversial character. And i know that there are a lot of girls who like this kind of storylines, but in spain there wasn't a prove of that (because i can't remember a gay male couple who has such following, well there aren't so many male couples in spanish shows right now).
Most of them think that Fer must be more supportive about the blackmail.

Hehe, now let a female speak... xD I'd say that it's true that almost only girls root for David/Fer because which boy watches soap operas or such a series like FoQ? (SORRY DON'T GET ME WRONG! I should have written 'how many boys' instead of 'which boy'... sorry sometimes I'm simply not thinking.... ) What I want to say is that girls are more likely to get into that whole fandom-thing: screaming, etc. for their idols or whoever... Have you ever seen boys scream for a girl-band? And no, Tokio Hotel is not a girl-band... hehe x) The main reason why I'm following David and Fer's story (I'm also crazy about Nuke and I watched Hollyoaks) is that I've seen "normal" (whatever that means) couples - girls and boys billion times and it simply gets boring with time... it's just too simple, maybe even too shallow for me... With boy and boy there's a new exciting aspect to the whole thing because of all the drama/confusion/angst/inner struggles/conflicts... that comes along with the realization 'hey I'm a boy, I shouldn't be in love with another boy'... <---- (not thinking again.... political correction: I think that Love doesn't know any gender, race or color) I think it's also kind of cute, too... Have you ever heard of the phenomenon called maternal instinct, that makes you want to protect something as cute as for example David (xD), ... woah, I hope you know what I mean.. I'm confusing myself right now... but I'm trying... And I think, a boy being in love with a boy is much comfortable to watch since thus I'm not getting jealous or envious of the girl that gets the hot boy... hehe xD... and thus the eyecandy is also doubled... x) Of course there are also movies/stories/whatever of girl-boy-relationships, that weren't handled too lame and were quite inventive so that I enjoyed watching them, too... So basically I'd say, it's all about the new, 'different' options a story like David/Fer's has.... I hope I could give you a good insight into what I, a girl, am thinking about this... |

Ok, I think you are right about this... FoQ is different than other soaps, as it focuses on the young people and their problems... But... still I'd say that more girls than boys really follow the show in every way (FoQ-club e.g.) |

Can I bring girl/girl relationship? I don't think there is quite the same phenonimum as with the boy/boy love relationship. I personally can't get into most girl/girl stories but I do know many straight guys that really get turned on my such a thing. David is someone that appeals to girls and guys. He looks straight and isn't your stereo type gay. Well, I am not really interested in girl/girl-stories, I don't really know why... It's not like I'm switching the TV program when I see girls kissing or so, I'm simply indifferent to it... it doesn't evoke any reaction in me at all, you may say... The thing with lesbians and straight guy is most of all a sexual thing... as you say they get turned on by that... But that's not the same with me (and other girls I suppose) and two boys... It's difficult to explain... but I think it's more about the emotional aspect of it... and well I must admit, the eyecandy for sure... But two boys kissing for example doesn't really turn me on in that way.. Could I say he appeals to the maternal instinct in gay guys too?  Well... I really can see David do that to you gay guys... I think he gets a lot of people excited... x) |

In fact I worked semi professionally at one time and have written over 200 songs myself. If I like a song, even classical music I like to read and if possible learn the texts to sing along. I particularly find a song he sings like Besamé beautiful but I agree with jjosé on a lot of others songs he's recorded. Adrian's a great dancer too. In fact he's just great full stop!!! Yeah, he's a great actor, too... (I am really convinced of that) Do you have a vid of him dancing? I am so into dancers, you can't imagine... Wow, you were a professional and wrote songs? That's amazing... As for me, I should stay in my shower and sing there.. hehe x) Well, writing is my thing, too, but inventing melodies - never... x) I really admire you for knowing how to do this 'cause I can just imagine how much work that is... |
