Sky Film Productions, the small indie company from Myanmar (Burma) who recently gave us their first ever series 'Healing Thingyan' are back with their new project 'Myet Taw Pyay' which actually translates as 'The Good Eye'. Based on a story by Nya Hmway Pann, it features actors Tayza Lin Young and Zwe, Kaung Sit as the central characters Mote Thone and Ko Mann Pyay, with support from Khine Thin Oo, MoeMyint Myat Soe, Ye Mon and Ani Zaw. It has been directed by Thiha Thit, who also helmed the company's first production 'Healing Thingyan'.
Synopsis: "Mote Thone, a young man who is secretly in love with his friend Ko Mann Pyay, whom he has known for so long and only tells his diary of the feelings he harbours. Mote doesn’t dare to express it, and he wonders how Ko will react when the time for truth comes. The two are working for the same company, and Ko’s girlfriend, Kho Chan, dislikes the fact they are so close. When his colleague U Mann enters the picture, the situation becomes more complicated and stirs jealousy amongst them. How will Ko deal when Mote finally decides to quit his job and move on with his feelings? Is it too late for Ko to realise that he likes Mote?"

The series has already started airing on local television in Myanmar after passing the country's censorship board (who did apparently snip some scenes before allowing it to proceed), but so far the series has not been made available internationally. The first episode has been added to the company's facebook page but appears to be geo-blocked at present.
