This BL series from YYDS Entertainment, who brought us 'I Feel You Linger In The Air' is based on the three volume Chinese BL story 'Zhiye Tishen' which translates as 'Professional Body Double' by Shui Qiancheng, although the names have been changed from the original novel (the book's main character Yan Mingxiu has now been altered to Ming, etc). It stars Up Poompat ('Lovely Writer', 'Step by Step') and Poom Phuriphan ('Bake Me Please') as the central couple Ming and Joe, with support from Porsche Tanathorn ('You're My Sky') as Sol, Mek Jirakit ('Star and Sky', 'Red Peafowl') as Tong, Inntouch Naphat ('My Engineer') as Mike, Billy Possathorn ('Social Death Vote') as Jim and Shu Nunnicha as May. It's jointly directed by Pepzi Banchorn and Khom Kongkiat, both of 'KinnPorsche' fame.
Synopsis: [good luck with this convoluted plot!] "Joe is a famous stuntman who suddenly finds himself at a crossroads when Ming, a complete stranger, comes out of nowhere and hugs him in the middle of filming. He ends up entering into a relationship with Ming, but soon finds out that Ming is really in love with Sol, who he is body-doubling for, and is just using Joe as a substitute for his love. Upon realising that in his life he has always been treated as a 'second option' Joe ends the relationship and agrees to do some stunt work in a forest, where a mishap causes him to fall off a cliff and die. However, he wakes up two years after the accident in a hospital bed in the body of a boy who has the same name as him and several other coincidental similarities. He ends up meeting Ming again and starts repeating his life as a substitute once more, without knowing that it is actually him in a new body! Was he being given a second chance or were the fates just wanting to mess with him? Otherwise how can it be that Ming considers him as nothing more than a substitute for the person he really loves when the person he really loves IS actually him?"
