I'm late in adding this thread from the GMMTV 2024 showcase due to being really undecided as to whether it fell into the category of BL or bromance, and to be honest I'm still not sure. I get the feeling that GMMTV are hedging their bets a little with this series, however in their press release they have claimed it will "tell the most romantic love story that is guaranteed to be highly swoon-worthy". Most BL related sites do seem to have accepted it as a BL show, so it's probably best to just go with the flow. It stars Ohm Pawat ('Bad Buddy', 'He's Coming To Me'), and rookie Leng Thanaphon making his debut as the main pairing, with Ohm Thipakorn ('Boss and a Babe', 'Last Twilight'), Title Kirati ('UWMA', 'Only Friends') and Papang Phromphiriya ('Dangerous Romance', 'Not Me') in support. The series is directed by Noom Attaporn who has never officially helmed a BL series, although he was responsible for 'Midnight Museum' which had a strong queer vibe and featured a BL couple who had significant screen time.
Synopsis: "Min who is desperate to raise money for his sick younger brother’s treatment, takes any work he can, including work as a kidnapper. However, what was supposed to be a simple task takes a serious turn when the higher-ups order Min to slay the rich young man he's kidnapped. Unwilling to kill his captive, Min tells them the job's done and decides to protect him by hiding him away in his own house instead. While living together, the young heir discovers why Min is in need of money and proposes a dangerous counter plan by suggesting he demand a ransom from his rich father. As both of them grow closer, Min’s gangster employer discover the charade and decide to take matter in their own hands. How will Min safeguard his young captive whilst also protecting his younger brother?"
