Sadly, not a gay role. Bash Croft plays the boy who's secretly in love with his female best friend (Charithra Chandran from Bridgerton and Alex Rider) but now finds himself in competition for her affections with a hot American exchange student played by Tanner Buchanan (who had a short-lived gay role in Designated Survivor and kissed Jude in The Fosters before meeting a tragic end). Imagine how amazing it would've been if the boys were each other's love interests instead. I know Tanner Buchanan was on Designated Survivor, but I don't think it was a gay role. Not that I remember at least

I guess it make sense, he wasn't a big role in the show and feel like a waste of his talent to keep him on just to use him for a few min a season.
