They really need to increase the episode count or length if they want to run so many storylines with the supporting cast. It's just not feasible to cram in 4 separate couples into 4 hours. I'm starting to fear we will wind up with a redux of Love, Victor. I thought the half-hour length would've worked fine if they had been hyper-focused on Nick and Charlie (like in the comics) but if they want to do more with their ensemble, then they really needed to commit more time.

I have to admit my first reaction was a sigh of dismay. Not because they're expanding autistic representation but because it will undoubtedly come at the expense of the main characters. The show is too short to give all these supporting characters their own stories.

I just hope this won't end like Love Victor that after being a hit for one season went downhill for putting too much focus on other characters (on a pretty short show)

I think we would all support a longer season, but I think it is clear Netflix is allergic to going with a different season length than the original season.

Does anyone know if it is true at the end of the book one guy moves away so season 3 rwill be the end Currently the comics have them considering university choices which may be in different cities, but I don't get the sense that they will break up. Previously, Alice Oseman said it would take four seasons to complete the story as planned. Not sure if Netflix will give them a fourth season or if they've been told season 3 will be the last. |

It is pretty expected that Nick would be heading to university, since he is a year ahead of Charlie. That is why Nick is in study hall and exams this season. Unless they make up some random reason to hold Nick back a year, it was always a given that there will be a time when Nick is in Uni while Charlie is still in high school
