This series is adapted from the Japanese manga 'Fukou-kun wa Kiss Suru Shikanai!' by Tsuyu Gamoko. The title roughly translates as 'Fukou - You have no choice but to kiss!' although the manga is usually more commonly referred to as 'Unlucky-kun Has No Choice but to Kiss!' For the series the slightly different name above seems to be the adopted title. It stars Sato Yusuke as Shinomiya Naoya and Sota Ryosuke as Fukuhara Kouta.

Synopsis "Fukuhara Kouta is a college student who is always unlucky and unintentionally causes trouble wherever he goes. As the new semester begins at University he crosses paths with Shinomiya Naoya, who is known for his good looks and nice personality, and realises that his negativities are weakened whenever they are together. Seeing Kouta's distress, Naoya decides to help him, however, in order to share the luck between them, they have to be together all the time. As they discuss how to proceed, a misunderstanding happens and Kouta ends up agreeing to date Naoya as his boyfriend. What will be the outcome of this love battle between two boys with strong opposite personalities? It definitely won't be straightforward."
