Pavel's new BL "Coffee Melody The Series" will start filming tomorrow and according to producers M Flow is still scheduled for a fourth quarter release. I know Pavel has kinda been under the radar or at least that's my opinion. He had a few vids on his YT channel here and there but nothing current really. I know a lot of actors leave the BL world after they do that first role and move on to more "traditional" roles. I'm glad he's gonna be back on screen though. He was always so cute to me.

On the left, it's James Pongsapak Rachaporn from "Don't Say No." Yay! Gold star for you, 35. In fact, 2 gold stars because not only are you right, but you're the first person who's ever answered and let me know it's not just me and the tumbleweeds here! 😊 As for the other guy in the pic, well you might remember him better when he's playing (his) Guitar.

Thanks for the hint. It's Phuwin. Ahh, alas it's not Phuwin, but that's ok, you've still got two more gold stars than anyone else around here. If you want to have another go, here's another hint: You got the first letter right. The name does indeed start with P.
Also, look back at the first clue again and think of the last word more in terms of a name than an instrument and see if the sentence takes on a different meaning.

Another right answer! Sooty gets a gold star too. 😊 And here's James and Petch out shopping together just a few days ago:

The state of play from GMMTV is: Bad Buddy has finishing filming and is confirmed to be coming soon. Baker Boys started filming two weeks ago. Not Me- Gun and Mond have posted that they are 'getting ready' as filming is imminent. Enchante - no news, but was the least popular of the announced shows so has been pushed down the pecking order. The Player - still in the workshop stage. Glad to hear that Enchante have started filming, as I look forward to that more than Not Me. Does The Player even have a BL plot? From what I remember of the trailer, it was just a minor twist.

Glad to hear that Enchante have started filming, as I look forward to that more than Not Me. Does The Player even have a BL plot? From what I remember of the trailer, it was just a minor twist. I don't think anyone outside GMMTV knows much about The Player at all. Various snippets of info have been gleaned from things the actors have said on social media, etc, but there's no official synopsis available. Current thinking is that it centres around a powerful family and concentrates on their various power struggles, relationship problems and games of one-upmanship. Personally I wouldn't class it as a BL and feel it fits more into the same category as Manner of Death and Three Will Be Free in that there is a mystery story to be told and any BL element could probably be removed without really damaging that story. Having said that, I've read that the same-sex relationship will be used as part of a blackmailing plot, but I don't know how true that is. It's down as a 'mature thriller' with Tay playing Inspector Tin, who is in charge of (whatever is) the related police investigation.

Star Image Digital Network is the latest victim of YouTube hackers. Their channel was taken over by a crypto-currency outfit last evening and has now been shut down by YouTube while they try to restore the company's original files.
It means (at the moment) that any YT links on threads for the following series will no longer work:

My Furry Love is one of the BL's that has been held up by the ongoing litigation between Jodi Garcia and some of the actors and the ex-distributor of his unscreened productions. The fact he's put this out as a short clip rather than a trailer makes me suspect it's just a way to bring in some advertising revenue while his shows are still in limbo.

'Oh! My Sunshine Night' is an upcoming BL currently in its pre-production stage. Over the last two/three weeks the company have been holding auditions which they made available to watch. To be honest I tend not to follow this type of stuff, usually because I get second-hand embarrassment too easily (especially when they make the guys sing, dance or strip-off without warning) but I kept on watching because of the number of faces I recognised. I don't know if the auditions are over now but of the guys who I was familiar with, those below were the ones who got call-backs. I think Ohm and Fluke are a shoo-in and the Nitiman boys appeared to find favour too. Yuuki (Dr Perth in Oxygen) and Get from 'My Boy' disappeared about half way through, while Oat and Net looked like they were doing well but also seemed to disappear before the final stage. I hope I'm wrong as I thought Oat did a great emotional scene when they were doing improv. There were no English subs so I'm not sure who was ultimately successful. I think it will be the workshop stage next.

I usually found the links on the Newsinfinity Entertainment twitter account. There's no current link available but I think that's because the process is over now. From what I can make out, it looks like OhmFluke will be the central couple with the rest of the ensemble being these guys: BTW, whenever I translate the various Thai comments, the name of the show always comes up as "Love at 9" so maybe "Oh! My Sunshine Night" is only going to be the international title? There's going to be some sort of official launch this coming week (I think) so more info should be forthcoming then.

I heard rumors that linked OhmFluke with this show when it first announced, that the director was pretty set on those two already. So it make sense they made it to the end of the audition. I'm just surprised they even went with an addition if they already decided on the actors already.

I'm just surprised they even went with an addition if they already decided on the actors already. To be honest, I thought they had already been chosen as the main actors too, and were just there to help put the other auditionees at ease and maybe have some input with the judges. It wasn't until I saw them with the numbers on their chests that I realised they were going through the process themselves. Having said that, I'm not above speculating whether they might have already got the parts but were just going through the motions for the cameras. I'm sure their appearance helped bump the viewer numbers up.

In 2018, a short film called 'Summerdaze' was released and attracted a lot of positive feedback with many comments saying it should be made into a full series. The producers are now hoping to do exactly that by raising enough funds to remake it into a 8 episode series. A crowd-funding page has been set up for anyone who is interested and would like to support them.
Here's the new trailer:

Star Image Digital Network are up and running again, almost a week after their YT channel was hacked. Content is being re-uploaded today so hopefully all the links on the threads should be working again within the next few hours.

From what I can tell, the main actors aren't particularly famous, so this would only work if the producer and director are crazy famous. Otherwise, the crowdfund campaign will probably fail.

Yeah when I saw that amount I put my card back in my wallet lol. I can't remember the title of the show but there was another series that did a crowd-funding page and I contributed a good amount about 2 years ago and then remember reading that not enough money was raised so the show got scraped. I'd be too nervous to do it again.

Yesterday Max and Tul did a webcast... [snipped] ...that they are both committed to Season 2 of Manner of Death and asked fans to keep hope alive that it will happen. MOD production company TV Thunder already have an option on the sequel - called "Transplant" - which will focus on a new life-and-death mystery for Bun and Tan in Bangkok (and also involves puppy-couple That and Sorawit), but now they are all waiting on author Sammon to actually finish the book. OMG! I'm quoting myself. How sad is that? 😳 Anyhoo, the reason I'm doing so is that Sammon has now officially announced that she has completed her book "Transplant" and it will be available soon. As mentioned above, the novel has already been optioned to be made into a series and both Max and Tul have committed themselves to be available for it too, so hopefully it won't be long before TV Thunder are in a position to give it the go ahead for full production. Fingers crossed we'll get an announcement soon!

I feel like after a certain age you can no longer play a college student.

So, according to this banner, the BL series we are all apparently waiting for are the DoMunDi/ManDee shows advertised earlier this year. 'Cutie Pie', 'Bed Friend' and 'Middlemans Love'. Official announcement will be tomorrow. At least now we know which platform they will be getting released on.

ManDee have released the promo video for their upcoming projects for 2022. As expected, it will consist of the three DoMunDi projects already mentioned above which will go out exclusively on WeTV:
