This telenovela premiered at the end of last month, and the gay couple got together for the first time recently. They're both minor characters. Telemundo has an absolutely dreadful reputation with gay representation - their most recent attempt was a queer male couple where the more naive one was manipulated by the misogynistic serial killer who delighted in filming his torture and murder of women, ending in his own torture and murder while his boyfriend was blown to bits.
But hey, this is a rom-com so hopefully nothing of that sort here.

Production was suspended by the pandemic so I'm not sure how many more episodes are in the can.
