I'm a little upset my thread for confimred sightings was locked. The responce was that it might be posted in the spoiler section. What if one does not want to view the spoiler section and prefers to wait to see the story unfolds?

What if one does not want to view the spoiler section and prefers to wait to see the story unfolds? Since there are already a lot of threads that have information about upcoming airings, having an additional one wasn't necessary. I understand your concern about not wanting to be spoiled. Along with the "Latest Clips" thread that has information about upcoming or recently aired Olli/Christian stuff, the "general discussion" also has next air dates mentioned frequently. These tend to be spoiler free. Also, the forum calendar is updated for all the shows except Hollyoaks for airdate info of the couples. I hope that helps!

I don't know if Proboards has this feature, but if it does then could we have a "View First Unread" button at the top of each thread? That is a HUGE time saver for me on other forums I visit.

I think moderators should not try to direct a conversation in just a couple of threads. For example I wouldn't mind having a separate favorite moment and line threads. The most important are "sticky" anyway and the others will scroll away to the next pages if nobody posts in them...

The most important are "sticky" anyway and the others will scroll away to the next pages if nobody posts in them... i agree to some extent, and so do the moderators. but on the other hand, we also need to try and keep this place as organized and easy to navigate as possible for newcomers. i support apollux' decision and believe 'favorite lines' is somewhat covered by 'favorite moments'. on the other hand, we will continue to appreciate initiative, e.g. the request thread showed a, at least to me, surprisingly huge demand for german transcripts of the scenes, so putting these together in their own thread made a lot of sense. :-)

Silly me, clicking on the "new" blue button on the forum does exactly what the "View First Unread" button does on other sites. ;D

I guess this is out of our control, but just in case it isn't.
I browse the forum from two different computers, and every time I switch all the threads show up as "new" even the ones where I was the last poster... drives me a little crazy each time.

I have the same problem... I used the "Mark all as read" button and now I´m switching computers without trouble.

It would be good if there was an image associated with the general board on the homepage like there is for each series. It kind of gets lost, being wedged in-between forums that have them.
As for what to use, maybe a collage of all the series?
I'd actually forgotten that it even existed until someone else mentioned it in the VL forum, prompting me to go looking for it.

Never thought about that. I get what you're saying. We'll get back to you on it one way or another! ;D

I totally agree. I actually suggested the same thing a while back when BL's [my favourite genre as if you hadn't guessed ] started to become a big thing and I ended up having a discussion with kevvoi about it, but as there are no mods around anymore we realised there was nothing we could do about it. I did send a direct message to whichever mod it was who had been on the board most recently at the time but I never heard back from them. To be honest this board needs updating badly. Even the search function barely works anymore. Hope you do better than me and get an answer!

Dear Team at proboards.com
My name is Owen and I am a volunteer with Hope For Ukraine Charity. I have found you on Linkedin
After two years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, at least 6 million people have fled Ukraine to escape the conflict and another 5 million people are internally displaced.
Leaving behind their homes, jobs and loved ones, Ukrainians urgently need shelter, food and water. More than 17 million people, almost half the population, require humanitarian aid.
Life for the people of Ukraine has completely changed. Fighting and indiscriminate bombing has killed families and destroyed houses, schools and hospitals. Millions in displacement centres and damaged homes face temperatures below -20C.
An estimated 1.4 million houses have been damaged by the war, and it is mostly older people and people with disabilities who remain behind in homes with leaking roofs, broken windows and no access to heating.
Your generous contributions to our Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal helped over 140,000 vulnerable women, men and children access vital aid including food, water, shelter and counselling support.
Thanks to you, our local partners are helping people to rebuild their lives after experiencing trauma, losing loved ones, homes and livelihoods.
We have also responded quickly through the Caritas network – which CAFOD is a member of – to provide shelter, food and safe spaces for families who have lost everything.
The humanitarian professionals and volunteers working on your behalf live locally and are from the communities that you are supporting. Many have been displaced by the war themselves. They understand people’s specific needs: from food and water, to shelter and clothing, to medical, psychological, and spiritual support. No two people are the same, no two crises are the same.
Thanks to your kind donations and support, we have delivered vital assistance to over 120,000 mothers, children and elderly people since the first months of the conflict. We are part of a Caritas response that has reached over 2 million refugees and internally-displaced people. By working together we are making a difference to the lives of those in greatest need.
When the emergency needs of families affected by the Ukraine conflict have been met and international attention turns to other crises, we are committed to be there in the long-term, to ensure that the communities you are helping can rebuild and heal.
How will my donation help? More than 17 million people, almost half the current population of Ukraine, are now in need of humanitarian aid. With your help, we can keep supporting the increasing number of families who are in desperate need.
Your donation will help local experts in Ukraine to keep providing:
- food, water, and hygiene items
- shelter and clothing
- healthcare
- education
- counselling and group therapy.
Please show your support for Ukraine by donating to the below cryptocurrency wallet addresses. No donation is too small. All funds received will be used to buy humanitarian aid for the people of Ukraine. Unfortunately, we are currently not accepting bank payments as we are looking for a new banking partner.

I thank you for your support and making a difference.
