personally didn't like the cutting hair scene because there were so many close ups (when such a moment is super intimate for most trans people, so it felt to me like it was some voyeurism?) and in the end, the cut isn't even super masc. they didn't do it as well as a força do querer. but they've been doing some great work, so it's like 1 bad thing vs. loads of really good stuff. and it is important that we finally depict trans stories, i've been waiting for that forever, so im really glad they're telling this story.

Also i love the way it has impacted Fidel.

but then...one tiny kiss instead of a steamy scene that ends up in bed is also one thing i'm holding against telefe.

Highlight to read: It seems that Telfe is homophobic, they did this same shit with the gay characters on Simona. It's supposed to be this great love story, yet they weren't even allowed to have sex, when EVERY other straight couple had sex, including Junior (one half of the gay couple) with his ex girlfriend. It pissed me off so much that I stopped watching. It's been weeks since that happened, at STILL no sex scene, so it seems like I made the right decision. This shit is expected with Mexican telenovelas. They hardly show any PDA, and I know that watching the shows, hence why my expectations are so low. I'm never disappointed with the lack of PDA, because I know what to expect. I expected more from Argentine telenovelas, we're talking about telenovelas that showed gay sex on screen 10 years ago. That's why this is so disappointing. I expected more. It's like we're taking 10 steps back. It's especially infuriating when they don't have any problems with their other trans and lesbian characters showing affection. Seems like some Evangelical took over Telefe and this is what we're stuck with. Just sad.

They did show Matias and Paul in bed. Like the amount of times Paul and Matias kissed in an episode and a half is something like 3 to 4 times what Paul and Fidel did, which is why I really don't understand it. I have watched a few scenes of the lesbian couple there was on Las Estrellas and they seemed to have some really nice kissing scenes, etc. We do see Juan and Emma kiss, but I guess since it's supposed to be straight, it's easier? Idk. I don't know why they're shying away from that all of a sudden, because Michel Noher and Ludovico di Santo can't be the ones refusing it.
(I mean I do know why, I just don't know what happened with the production? like they did do those scenes between Paul and Matias so what happened that that same week those episodes aired, they couldn't film something more intimate...)

Apart from that, I'm really enjoying Fidel's character. So open-minded, teaching his students to be open-minded, to question everything, to build their own identity and not just do what everyone says they should do. And then falling in love with a guy threw him off balance. I know some were annoyed he isn't bi, or nothing has been said about bisexuality with the character, but I do like the fact that it seems like he hadn't fell in love with a person before, what he thought to be love with Cata wasn't, and he discovers what it truly is with Paul? It reminds me of the movie Imagine Me & You.

But i need them to kiss on screen, more than that lil' peck from thursday's episode ^_^

also, mmmmh...i'm starting to get really mad at telefe. they showed a scene with paul and fidel in the preview, and the actual episode didn't have more than that. it was the only scene and it wasn't more than 40 seconds long. the episode may have focused on gender stuff, which is hella great and things i never thought i'd see on tv anywhere in the world, but if they're gonna have a story with fidel & paul, they should have more scenes. if they couldn't have more scenes for them within that episode or that week, then keep it for later idk god im so mad.

That scene at the end, how Fidel reacts to Tomas' homophobia is so great. I love it!
Fidel fights for his students to be open-minded and rethink whatever they've been told. I love that so much.
I love the contractions between what he says to his students and what happens in his private life, I think it's a really interesting spin on an otherwise quite classic coming out story.

(also, the chemistry between the actors is through the roof !!)

Really enjoyed this storyline so far. It reminded me so much of Tony and Segundo storyline, i mean, the way they talked and acted, i guess its how comedy series work in Argentina, so funny

I never thought of that, but i rewatched some of their scenes and I see what you mean !! There's something there. I really liked Segundo and Tony's story, it was fun and light hearted. But I think I prefer Paul and Fidel's story because they're out and figuring out life together, while with Tony and Segundo, there was a lot of hiding and secrets and all.
Also, Juan Sorini, who played Tony, has a character in the show! He's started filming today or yesterday, I think you can see it on his instagram or Juan Minujin's instagram (who also has a role in 100 dias, he's Gaston). Sorini will only be a guest, but I can't wait to see if there will some subtle references to Segundo and Tony.

That little scene at the beginning of part 18 is so adorable, and the actors' chemistry is amazing !! The way they look at each other!! Why did they have to be interrupted.... (that's a recurring thing in this show, they have a cute lil' scene and someone interrupts them :/)

Had the same problem with part 31 but it's been fixed.

As for part 1 to 6, they are there when I'm logged in, and not when I log out so idk what dailymotion's playing at. You might have to log in, or watch them from page 1 here, 'cause I was able to watch the embedded videos on here when logged out.
