The last I saw he fell for his friend's mother, and they were caught kissing by said friend (Pedro). Did the show explain how he went from thinking he was gay to wanting his friend's mother? |

Yes I'm curious about this "twist" as well. It would've made more sense if he started macking on Pedro's father (not that a telenovela would've shown that!)
Also, can we please, please stop with the trope that gay characters get overpowered and beaten up ALL. THE. FREAKING. TIME? This is the second time Pedro has battered Gabriel in as many clips and Gabe just stays there and takes it.
