News about a new show with Luke Macfarlane:

I'm not sure what this means for Luke's availabilty for Night Shift. SyFy doesn't always have the same filming schedule as network shows and it is only 10 episodes, so he could still show up.
Either way I'm looking forward to this show, with Luke and Aaron Ashmore, it can't go wrong
Aaron Ashmore (Warehouse 13), Luke Macfarlane (Brothers & Sisters) and British actress Hannah John-Kamen (The Hour) have landed key roles in Killjoys, an original space adventure drama being produced for Syfy and Space.
From the producers of Orphan Black and penned by Lost Girl creator Michelle Lovretta, Killjoys follows a fun-loving, hard-living trio of interplanetary bounty hunters sworn to remain impartial as they chase deadly warrants throughout the Quad, a distant system on the brink of a bloody, multi-planetary class war.
Ashmore plays John Jaqobis, a cheerful peacemaker who prefers not to fight, though his sarcastic wit has put him into the fray enough over the years to teach him how to do it well, while Macfarlane’s D’avin Hannah John-Kamenis a former soldier whose hard-won expertise in tactics, maneuvers and hand-to-hand combat make him an instant asset to the Killjoy team.
John-Kamen’s character, the “gorgeous, complicated and deadly” Dutch, boasts a unique gift for earning people’s respect, regardless of their class. But beneath her banter and flirtations, there is a maturity and deep solemnity stemming from a dark past.
Production on the 10-episode freshman run starts next month in Toronto, with an eye on a 2015 premiere.
