I thought it was Luke Macfarlane in the picture of Drew with his boyfriend! The photo went by so fast, though, so I thought I was seeing things.

Drew struggles to keep his relationship under wraps with TC’s (Eoin Macken) help, as they both try to save Rick. TC and Scott (Scott Wolf) argue over who is in charge and Jordan (Jill Flint) realizes she has to deal with some unresolved feelings for TC. Topher (Ken Leung) struggles to diagnose a soldiers illness as Krista (Jeananne Goossen) fends off the flirtations of young soldiers in the emergency room, and Paul (Robert Bailey, Jr.) must contend with their good-natured teasing because he looks so young. Kenny (JR Lemon) discovers Ragosa’s (Freddy Rodriguez) online dating profile and offers to help fix it up. Daniella Alonso also stars.

i have been putting off watching this, because i was a huge Roswell fan - so apart from the hair - i really liked Brendan Fehr from a long time ago - then i watcheed him in Sugar and you saw his real potential - a film i recommend to anyone. So i knew i would either immediately love or hate this. Fortunately i love it and find myself chukling - so always good on a stressful day - i look forward to watching how this plays out.

Thanks! I was hoping for some like those considering there was absolutely nothing about that part of the story in the promo video. I do think the second one I posted is Luke Macfarlane, but it's hard to tell!

I quite like the others, when they're holding hands, because there are the other guys in the background and it doesn't look like they care. I cannot wait for this episode!

It could be him in the second picture. I'm wondering if Drew will finally come out to everybody at the hospital in the next episode or if him and Rick will keep being "really close friends".

Yeah, kinda crush the whole thing... But what he says doesn't just apply to male actors kissing other male actors, fake kisses are always uncomfortable, that's not the part actors enjoy the most about acting. Especially since McFarlane wasn't on the show for more than an episode, I kind of understand the uneasiness. It's his job as an actor to show passion, feelings, etc. If he's not able to do it, if he's not able to get into the skin of his character, then that's disappointing for him. I really hope he doesn't mess up the role. The acting he's shown on the show was quite good and I enjoyed his scenes.

The show projected terrible right from the gate, but Fehr's comments in that interview are way beyond. If he was so damn scared and the risks "are many", then don't take the role. He must have needed the job (and money) to put himself into a situation that he admits made him extremely uncomfortable. You can see it in his performance. There are so many actors/actresses that would give ANYTHING to have an opportunity to score a role on a network or cable TV series, because they WANT to be able to do work that gives them the chance to shine AND to also get them work to build on their resume. Fehr had absolutely nobody review his comments, before they were published?

Fehr had absolutely nobody review his comments, before they were published? Now that I think about it, it's probably Fehr's own embarrassment to play such a character that we saw and not Drew's. Though, I liked the way it went, not wanting to be defined by your sexuality (gay ranger, gay doctor, etc.). He probably thought the greatest actors like a challenge and thought to go this way too, but he's not doing the best of jobs. As you said, he should have said no to the role and let someone else who actually wanted to do it and would have done it well. I'm only going to watch episode 6 for Luke.

This is what I do not like to hear because no matter what his excuse is for saying it, it would never be the same and it's hard to look past an actor who is uncomfortable with playing a gay character. I knew something was off, I just assumed it was part of the character's outlook on his own homosexuality. This is not a challenge he should have taken on because this role requires chemistry with someone of the same sex which you can't fake at all. This is extremely disappointing because as sub par as the show is in general, I still enjoyed it and I was excited to see how Drew's storyline plays out. This is the part where I bow out.

The interview is atrocious, it makes Danny Miller look like a gay rights activist, and Brendan is not exactly new in the business to not know how bad idea it was, specially when a lot of things he said are utter lies. A lot of actors made themselves a name playing gay characters, and it's not risky anymore. Of course you have to be an actor and not just a pretty face to benefit of playing such character.
And to be honest, for an actor consider a great challenge to kiss another guy is very pathetic
