For those of us who wants to discuss Penter without the abuse we'd get in general discussion.
I really hope the mods let this stay up. Fans of Penter need a place to talk, where we actually won't be bullied away because of something we believe in.

This is for FANS. All you others can use the other threads to discuss them, and if you don't like them, that's fine. Just please, can the fans of them please have ONE thread where we can discuss them in peace?
If the mods don't like it, then by all means, remove it. I just find it incredible that I can't discuss a potential pairing without getting abuse. I know many people here who don't dare to discuss them, because they get attacked every time they do. That's why I created this thread, for fans. And please.. again, you're allowed to your opinion, but you also need to respect that other people disagree. There's something called "respect each other's ships". There's many ships that I find ridiculous, characters too. I don't like Finn on Emmerdale, but you don't see me going onto the Emmerdale thread, because I respect that people have another opinion. I honestly think it's great that people like Finn, it's just.. I don't. That's why I don't go to that thread.
Please, I beg of you, just let us fans have ONE thread where we can discuss them in peace.

No offence but I hope this thread won't stay up. There is no "Johnny and Danny" so there's nothing to talk about. And you don't know for a fact that there won't be any Johnny and Danny in the future. Thanks though, you just proved my point. |

I would suggest changing the title of the thread to Johnny and Danny Fans' thread or something similar -- otherwise I think it is going to invite all kinds of comments and speculations with a negative bent on the pair.

Wow. Just ... wow. You've all been around long enough to understand the concept of respectful discussion, and I'm dismayed by some of what I've just read here. So, once again, I point you all to the Board Rules. I'm going to go ahead and delete a few of the posts in this thread. I'll leave the thread here, but will lock it for the simple reason that there is no Johnny & Danny pairing at this time, nor anything to indicate it might ever happen (especially with the one actor leaving). It might very well happen in the future (never say never), and if it does we can entertain re-opening the thread at that time. |
