This telenovela is from Argentina. It's about lawyers working at a law firm. Guillermo and Pedro will have an upcoming gay storyline. Well.. it has already started. Guillermo is not what most people would consider "hot", so I doubt this storyline will be a hit. Pedro is cute though, and I don't know about you, but I think it's refreshing to see a relationship between a younger guy and an older guy... it doesn't happen a lot on tv. Besides, being from Argentina (liberal country), you know they won't shy away from gay PDA and kissing Anyway, what has happened so far.. Guillermo is married, and has a son. Although he's obviously gay (or at the very least bi), because he hooked up with a younger guy in the past. The guy just showed up to spill all the beans to the wife. I think she suspects or knows he's gay.. I'm not completely sure, it's kinda confusing. I hope you excuse me if I get things wrong.. it would actually be nice with some Spanish speakers correcting me, and hopefully add to what I write here. Pedro is the younger guy. He's not married I think, but he does have a girlfriend (I'm not sure if it's a legit relationship, or if she's just a beard). Anyway, he has come on to Guillermo a couple of times, it's so blatantly obvious it's ridiculous. It's obvious that Pedro wants something to happen. The storyline is being uploaded.. The storyline without subs: The storyline with English subs: And here is a video basically summing up everything that has happened so far (without subs):

It's the same clip as the person who uploaded and subbed it. It's not mine. I'm just using it for review in LOS.

Dani posted a bunch of clips from the show with English subtitles -- I am not sure on the proper order or I would link them here (as there are multiple clips per episode, but it isn't clear to me what the proper order is for the clips from each episode). www.youtube.com/user/xdanisubtituladosx

One of the best stories I've followed...surprised to see so little discussion on this board...the actors portrayed Guillermo and Pedro make everything so believable and as an audience, I actually did look beyond their age, physical appearances, life experiences etc. and was fully convinced that these two are soul mates!

I have to admit, that I just don't have the time to add another show to my viewing list. Hopefully, I'll find time to start watching this show. I just have to ask though: Both of these characters aren't any OR all the above: abusive, psychopaths, self-hating gay, bisexual or questioning men and/or younger than 21 years of age male characters?

Thanks for the link to the article. I'm surprised that the writer didn't mention the 2008 telenovela, Botineras, featuring the very popular pairing of Lalo and Manuel aka Malo. Wait, that was an Argentinean soap, right? There was also another soap, from a few years before Botineras. I can never remember that show.

This storyline is sooo good! It's got to be one of the best telenovelas I've ever seen. Just genuine good quality. Damn.. Argentines know how to make good tv shows, that's for sure! I remember Botineras was really good too. Argentine telenovelas are VERY different, and in a good way. The writing is top notch! Acting too ;D
Pedro in that gay bar was hilarious.. he was like a deer in headlights. Poor boy. He needs to realize that not all gay guys are like that! Some gay guys go out and party, others are more the relationship kind. And there's nothing wrong with either! I just think it's sad that Pedro thinks that all gay guys are like that, or supposed to be like that. He can be however he want. His sexuality doesn't change who he is.

Especially the acting...shoutouts to the actors! Pedro does seem to have some childhood traumas that could be contributing to how he deals various emotions in this relationship...overall, great story so far! Heard rumors that there might be some contract issues with the actor who portrays Pedro and that might affect where the writers take the relationship next...

like so much this show it's really well done ....Pedro,so hot,he is always the first to take initiative...he is the younger and the more impulsive...he is discovering himself...and finally he knows what h e wants...... Guillermo.....he knows what Pedro is passing...he does not want to be hurt....he is the "advocate" and the "psychologist"(for asking questions to Pedro)...but so tender with his shyness to share his feelings....the actor who plays him is genial.... his tender gestures says all....Love Chavez

However, I am not sure if Pedro's attachment to Guillermo is partly driven by the fact that he has "daddy issue" and the lacking of a loving father figure in his life. I can't decide if Pedro's feeling towards Guillermo is more of a romantic nature, or more of a father-son dependency...

maybe both the reasons...... but romantic nature is the most important,to me.... they are telling us a love story....

Is there anywhere else to watch this at with english subs in order? I can't follow Dani's videos. They seem to be out of order or missing scenes. Like the bathroom scene. How did they get locked in there?
