This kind of plot just infuriates me. Why is Elias so weak and spineless, endlessly mooning over his worthless "lost love"? Lari treated Elias like dirt and made it clear that he would never be even remotely as important as his alledged hockey future and then dumping him. Why can't the "gayer" character for once just tell the bulllyboy closet case to shove it, instead of devoting his whole life to supporting the jerk who treated him like garbage. These gay soap plots always play out the same way, be it Luke (ATWT), John Paul (Hollyoaks), Lucas (GTST), ad nauseum. Please, find a new plot for your gays, soap writers!

Oh, great.  Such a cowardly thing to do - have two people hold Lari's arms so he can't defend himself. I hope the rest of the team will side with Lari when they learn what happened, but I'm not holding my breath. |

Poor Lari. He was a jerk so in a way this is his just desserts, but his life has just fallen apart so completely. I don't think Lari and Elias should be together again, but I'm glad he does have Elias in his corner. And Janne. That guy is so attractive. He deserves better than bitchy Iida. I understand why she did what she did but I can't believe she doesn't think that was enough.

Damn. I simultaneously feel sorry for Lari and want to slap him upside the head. He's now been beaten up, and I can understand that he doesn't want to make things worse. But he also keeps telling Elias to his face that hockey means a lot more to him than Elias does. I kind of wish Elias had another story outside of Lari's. Lari clearly has problems to deal with and he doesn't want Elias around. |

Being gay would not prevent Lari from playing hockey in Canada which is where he wants to go for the camp so he should just focus on that.
Also, do these kids not have Internet access?
Has he not read about the gay hockey players in Canada?
It's not like he's going to Afghanistan.
Lari needs to use some of that moxie he was using to bully Elias and Talle to stand up for himself and not back down.
That is the only way he'll ever be happy.

Well, Lari continues to be a self-absorbed, d'bag, but at least his motivation and desire for his future dreams is understandable and realistic. Elias, on the other hand, is just a pathetic, needy wimp. He needs to find and strap on a pair. His constant trailing around after Lari liked a whipped puppy dog is ridiculous and nauseating. Move on for Christ's sake, and get a life that doesn't revolve around a guy who has treated you like dirt from the beginning! It's vintage "Luke Snyder", 2008. He is just impossible to root for any more.
