The only thing I can think of is that the actor wanted to leave. I mean why else would everything happen so quickly and abruptly.

The actor wanted to leave but that's no excuse to kill the character off. Like... I am just tired of LGBT characters being killed left and right on tv shows. It's so lazy.

It would have been better for Elias to have not come back then they would not have needed to kill him off just say he decided to go to school in England and call it a day.

I was never a fan of Elias. He always annoyed the hell out of me and I found his relationship with Lari to be weird and creepy and most of the time Elias came off as pathetic. But I don't understand killing off the character, especially after he threatened to leave town on at least 2 occasions. It would have made much more sense to have Elias start a new life after last year when he'd been jilted by Lari for yet another time. This death was unnecessary. And now Lari and Kalle will probably reunite. Yeesh.

So Elias is really dead couldn't they have replaced him. I know this isn't the US, but here in the US they replace actors left and right and bring them back from the dead. On soaps here in the US no one really dies. LOL
I like Lari, but I wish I knew what they're going to do with character since Elias is dead.
