Okay so this is a Novela, it already ended But it had a gay couple. Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch it. All I know is that they are a couple and trying to adopt and both are openly gay. I don't know what else to add at the moment because I just don't know what else went on. Here is part of an episode where you can see them together. They KISS!!! They were talking about the relationships the had with there fathers I don't know if I would be bale to sub this because I wont be having time. I would have to finish XY (oh BTW, this Novela and XY are from the same network), and also finish with FoQ.

very interesting conversation...
The guy that comes from the country, and who you would expect to come from a more conservative background, actually has a very toleran and accepting father...while the city guy does not.

gots80Wait are you saying it because of the accents?? I didn't even notice it till now!! The first time I watched it It was more like paying attention to what they were saying than anything else. I really want to watch this Novela now. I saw the promos for it last year but I never really paid attention because It was going to be aired at 11 at night and that was my usual bedtime because of school (no DVR back then ) I wonder if I could find links to the episodes since no one decided to cover the storyline at all, (not even in Spanish)

It doesn't look like the show ends very happily for this couple, based on a fanvid I found:
Bruno and Pedro don't appear to have much of a footprint on youtube.

I watched it online when it was broadcasted, but I checked and the links don't work anymore unfortunately. Right now several telenovelas forums are closed, if I ever will find the new links I will let you know immediately because the storyline is certainly worth it

It seems very regional, probably norteno and from a small town. The story seems interesting.

maya, Thank you so much!!! I found the first episode in dailymotion (I was so happy they had a full on kiss so I'll try and see if there are more episodes there, though I know of a site that has most of the episodes for downloads, except I don't want to have to download to watch them. dots80, you're right. It could be norteño, and most definitely a pueblo or racho accent. (I love it, sounds funny and coming from the right people, it's sexy at times, ha!)

Just wanted to add that someone has now started to upload their storyline. I like it, since they're not stereotypical, they're treated well as characters, they're an integrated part of the life of the other characters. Their love feels real. Bruno's father is not very accepting, and many discussions are between him and his father. Bruno is an amazing character, I love him. Pedro is ok too. I also want to add that although they do show some PDA, it's not a whole lot. Up till now I've only seem them kiss once, although they do hug and hold hands from time to time. Hopefully there will be more kissing eventually. I guess you can't expect more from a Mexican soap. I should be happy they're showing realistic gays at all. It wasn't too long ago where all they showed was stereotypical and effeminate gay men. I'm glad that's not the case anymore. It all seemed to change with Adrian and Julian in the amazing series XY.. and of course Bruno and Pedro here It's a good sign. I'm just saying.. treating gay characters in this manner is fairly new in Mexico, so we can't expect a perfect portrayal. And Mexico is still a conservative country (despite gay marriage in some states). Like I said.. it's a start. It's a good story overall, despite some issues. Anyway, the show (telenovela) is from 2011, so it ended two years go. But I'll still post the storyline here, in case people want to watch. I liked it, despite not enough PDA between the gay characters. Oh, and FYI, there's no English subtitles (at least not yet). Sorry about that. Cap 1: Cap 2: Cap 3: Cap 4: Cap 5: Cap 6: Cap 7: Cap 8: Cap 9: More here: www.youtube.com/user/Gaba2906
