Summary: Sami is furious when she learns Will wrote the scathing article. Meanwhile, Sonny and Will celebrate Will's story, and Adrienne stops by. She learns about Will being published and nearly lets the cat out of the bag that Victor is the publisher of the magazine. Later, Sami shows up at the apartment and confronts her son. Reeling, Sami can't believe he would do this to her, but Will says she gave him no choice. She warns he will regret ever writing it. Meanwhile, Adrienne tells Sonny to hope Sami doesn't find out he had a hand in getting Will the job. Later, Zoe orders a change to the article, revealing the unnamed mistress - Abigail Deveraux.

Summary: Will and Sonny anxiously wait for the online edition of Will's story to hit the web. Will gets testy when he feels Sonny isn't being supportive. They soon make up. Meanwhile, Sami tells Kate about the article Will wrote detailing their takeover of DiMera Enterprises. They worry how the board will react - and also fear this could push Stefano over the edge. Sami tries to do damage control with Shin, who strongly hints it would be best if Sami could say she and EJ reconciled. Later, Kate demands answers from Will. Meanwhile, Sami is forced to change tactics with EJ.

Summary: Sonny and Will are waiting anxiously for Will's article to come online, but Sonny still feels guilty about how Abigail, though unnamed, is referred to in Will's takedown of EJ and Sami. To help assuage Sonny's worry, Will calls Abigail and alerts her to the story, saying she'll want to read it. When it finally comes online, she's curious and begins to read… Jennifer questions Abigail when she returns home, clearly upset. Back at the apartment, Sonny gets to the article first and can't believe what he's reading. He turns to Will, furious.

Summary: Sonny's upset Will named Abigail in his article, but Will insists he didn't do it. He realizes it was Sami's doing. He's upset Sonny thought he might have done such a thing, but eventually they make up. Meanwhile, Sami claims to EJ that she tried to stop the magazine from publishing the article and assures him she convinced the board there's nothing to worry about. When EJ expresses sympathy for "poor" Abigail, Sami unloads on him. Earlier, Abigail tells Jennifer and JJ what happened, and they are supportive. Abigail receives some disturbing social media posts, and Jennifer asks Ben to take her daughter away from an intrusive reporter. JJ later blasts Will for the story. Later, Kate diverts Lucas by telling him about the magazine article Will wrote. Meanwhile, Sonny arrives at the mansion to confront Sami, and EJ barges into the apartment to talk to Will.

Summary: Will reveals to an angry EJ that it was Sami who named Abigail in the article. Meanwhile, Sonny lets Sami have it for what she did to Will. Sami says Will was not the innocent party. Marlena comes in on their argument and is upset Sami didn't tell her. Sami explains she didn't - and still does not - want to hear her mother's platitudes. Later, Marlena arrives and confronts Will. Then Will hangs up from a call with Sonny when Abigail arrives. Meanwhile, EJ returns home and finds a rattled Sami, who says he has to help her!

Summary: Abigail angrily confronts Will about the article. Meanwhile, Sonny tries to defend Will's actions to Lucas. Later, Lucas tries to comfort Will and reveals Victor is the owner of TruVista. Will puts two and two together. At the same time, Sonny tells Abigail he feels responsible for this whole turn of events because he asked Victor to get Will the job. Abigail figures out it was Sami, not Will, who gave her name to the editor. Earlier, Sami asks EJ for help - things are falling apart at the company, and she can't hold them together anymore. EJ can't believe after all she's done to destroy his life, she'd expect him to help, and he walks out on her. Later, Lucas confronts EJ outside the Brady Pub, and Abigail arrives at the DiMera mansion and slaps Sami. Meanwhile, Will confronts Sonny for treating him like a child.

Summary: Will blasts Sonny for having Victor pull strings to get him the magazine gig. Sonny calls Will on how turned on he seemed over bringing down his mother and EJ. Will storms out. Meanwhile, After getting slapped, Sami shoves Abigail and snaps that she's still the same wimpy girl she was a few days ago. However, Abigail fires back and threatens to call Shin and tell him Sami has been lying to him. Abigail agrees not to talk to the board - if Sami agrees that her revenge against Abigail is over. Earlier, EJ confronts Victor about his ownership of TruVista Magazine. Later, Will ends up getting advice from Marlena. Meanwhile, Sonny warns Victor that Will discovered the truth.

Summary: Victor lets Maggie know that the article blasting EJ and Sami was his idea - he owns the magazine that published it, and he told the editor to go for it. He didn't know Abigail would be named but that doesn't lessen his guilt. Meanwhile, Will opens up to Sonny that he's always felt inadequate compared to him, and so when he got the job writing for that magazine, it was something he could point to as an accomplishment. Now he's learned it isn't true, and that's why he's upset. Sonny tries to assure Will he got the job because of his talent but Will isn't buying it. Earlier, Julie learns of EJ and Abigail's affair - and runs into EJ straight afterwards. Meanwhile, Sonny takes his share of the blame for the Will's article, and Will confides in T. Later, The rift between Will and Sonny remains.

Summary: Rafe, Ben, Sonny and Lucas congregate at the pub post basketball. Meanwhile, Will receives his first assignment from Zoe - he's to write about Chad's return to Salem. Will balks. Zoe says he's free to turn it down, but then she'll have to assign it to someone who may not be as protective of Chad as Will might be. Later, Lucas learns Zoe's the editor of Sonix and Will works for her again. Meanwhile, Sonny returns and surprises Will in the shower. Will then lets him know about his new assignment.

Summary: Will and Sonny discuss the new assignment. Meanwhile, Chad informs Ben that he's his boss. Chad then discovers the envelope full of cash that Clyde gave Ben earlier and accuses Ben of stealing from the club. T alerts Sonny, who shows up with Will. Abigail arrives just as things get violent between Ben and Chad. Sonny stands up for Ben, who declines to say where the money came from. Later, Will and Chad talk about the article Will wrote. Chad exits before Will can ask if he can interview him for his next article. Will asks Sonny if he should just decline the assignment, and to his surprise, Sonny says no.

At the same time, Sami has a dream about being led off to prison. Kate tries to rally her spirits, saying she and Lucas will do everything they can to fix her problem. Curious Sami wonders why Kate is doing this, and while Kate dances around it, it's clear she really does care about Sami. Later, Sonny seeks out Will and says he wants to spend some time with him but Will wants to work on the article about Chad. Will comes off a little crass in his reasons for doing it, and Sonny calls him on it. Meanwhile, Victor shows up and offers his help to Sami and Kate.
