Summary: Will and Sonny worry about keeping Sami in line. Meanwhile, Nick and Gabi meet with Aiden to draw up Arianna's custody agreement. Aiden expresses concern about Gabi's close relationship with Nick, a convicted criminal. Nick assures Aiden nothing about his criminal past will come out in court. Later, Gabi returns home and tells Will and Sonny she met with a lawyer about custody. Meanwhile, Nick insists he and Sami need to talk.

Summary: Abigail overhears Sonny talking about Nick. Meanwhile, Nick threatens Sami, telling her she needs to make sure Will's lawyer says nothing about Nick's past crimes if the case goes to court. Otherwise, everyone will be sorry. Later, Lucas assures Sonny he will not allow Nick to ruin his and Will's happiness. Meanwhile, Abigail confront her cousin about his involvement in Arianna's custody. Nick gets in Abigail's face - only to be strong-armed by a protective Ben.

Summary: Will sees the draft custody agreement Gabi got from her lawyer and panics when he reads the harsh terms. He confronts Gabi but she tries to reassure him she wants him in Arianna's life and that will never change. Meanwhile, Abigail gets a shock when, in the middle of her argument with Nick, Ben appears from nowhere and pushes her cousin against a wall. Warning Nick to back off, Ben exudes a dark intensity that has even Nick worried. Abigail gets Ben to let Nick go, then demands he explain his reaction. Later, Will tells EJ and Marlena he's certain Nick is behind getting that language into the agreement.

Summary: Sami is furious when she learns the details of Gabi's proposed custody agreement - she knows Nick is behind it. EJ assures her that he will get a fair deal for Will. However, Sami informs him he cannot bring up Nick's criminal record in court - or Nick will send Sami and Kate to prison. Later, Sami meets up with Kate, who fishes for information on what had EJ so upset. Meanwhile, EJ receives pictures of the people who were at the ferry the day the photograph of him and Abigail was taken. He's frustrated when he doesn't recognize anyone. Johnny spots someone familiar in the photos... At the same time, Nick tells Percy he cannot forgive Kate and Sami for what they've done.

Summary: Nick pressures a reluctant Gabi to call her lawyer and push through a custody agreement that will limit Will's visits to every other weekend. Meanwhile, Will and Sonny insist to Sami that Gabi would never keep them from Arianna. However, Will panics when he sees Gabi and senses she is going along with Nick. At the same time, Sami turns to Rafe to put the screws to Gabi. While Gabi stuns Rafe by saying she wants what Nick wants, Will and Sonny declare they will do anything and everything to keep Arianna. Meanwhile, Sami reaches out to Abigail for help with Nick.

Summary: Sami and Abigail ask Maggie to talk to Nick about the custody agreement and get him to see that it's wrong. Meanwhile, Rafe tries to get through to Gabi about the custody agreement but she insists he must leave this - and Nick - alone. At the same time, While Maggie manages to convince Nick to open up, he remains steadfast in his desire to have the life he's always wanted with Gabi - and vows no one will get in his way. Later, After a confrontation with Nick, EJ decides to take drastic action! When Sami arrives home, she realizes what EJ is planning and has a surprising reaction. Meanwhile, Gabi makes a private confession to Arianna about her situation. At the same time, Nick runs into Abigail and, knowing she asked Maggie to speak with him, he lashes out at his cousin - calling her EJ DiMera's whore!

Summary: Nick arrives in the square, having been shot. When Julie asks who did this to him, Nick raises his finger to point at the crowd, which includes Sami, EJ, Rafe, Ben, Abigail, Will, Sonny, Gabi, Kate and Lucas. However, he passes out before he can identify the shooter. Jordan and Rafe tend to Nick until Hope and the paramedics arrive. Lucas and Kate take a shaken up Allie to the pub for the night. Hope and Rafe follow Nick's bloody trail to the park. Sami fears Nick was going to point to her and EJ as the guilty parties. Maggie is horrified by the news, while Ben is very supportive of Abigail.

Summary: Sami is so guilt-ridden about Nick that she almost spills to Eric. Marlena comes over, and Sami assures her mom she's fine. While Sami exits the room, Marlena listens to a message from Nick on her speakerphone. Sami returns in time to hear Nick's voice and drops a tray, shattering everything.

Summary: Sami walks in to hear Nick's final voice message on Marlena's phone and is rattled. EJ arrives in time to make sure Sami doesn't give anything away to Marlena. Meanwhile, As Sonny and Will discuss returning the gun to Victor's, and they are almost caught by Gabi. Gabi announces she's canceling the custody hearing. Sonny professes his belief that things will all work out, but then is brought in to be questioned by Hope. Later, Rafe confronts Will about his fight with Nick. Meanwhile, Hope questions Sonny. At the same time, While Marlena takes the message to Hope, EJ and Sami are interrupted by Gabi.

Summary: Sami worries Will might have been the one who shot Nick, but EJ strongly disagrees. Meanwhile, Lucas has a heart-to-heart with Will, telling his son he is here for him if he wants to talk. Will surprises Lucas by telling him the same thing. At the same time, Kate accidentally upsets Gabi, and Sonny tries to smooth things over. Later, Will and EJ show up at the apartment, and EJ goes over the joint custody agreement. To everyone's surprise, Gabi is adamant that Sonny and his rights be factored into the agreement.
