I'm glad some noticed that, too. I mean, Olli threw Christian out of his own house, then took all his things to the stud farm, then he told Christian he had nothing to do with his life; Christian lost all his possessions in the fire and had to wait for the insurance money to buy new clothes; Olli could afford a vacation in Mallorca and he let Jessica live in the guesthouse against Christian's will. But he wants Christian to pay for half of the bill? I love you, Olli, but this is a bit too much. Don't you think Jessica should pay? It's all so illogical. If there were rooms available in a building that Christian half-owns, why did he have to sleep at the stables in the first place? Why would he need to share with Charlie? Or did the writers only remember this fact now? And we've already discussed the fact that the profits from NL would have at least covered some new clothes. And the fact that Olli doesn't have insurance? Has he neglected to insure NL also?! Also, shouldn't it be bothering Olli that Christian owns half his business? Shouldn't he at least be thinking about it? Whatever, writers. Bc its really Olli's Christian only intervenes, when he has to sign for stuff or sign them Remember that he actually bought Gregor's share for Olli. I promess Olli he wouldnt get in his business So in reality, the one who calls the shots about the apartments and NL is Olli. In summary, Christian is the silent partner. I also think that is why Christian didnt touch his share of the money when his things burned. Probably Chrolli has a share account, and well with everything that was happening, he didnt want to touch it.

Anyway, I dont think that, that justifies, Olli calling Christian, agreeing to something with him and then do another. If you were just going to do what you wanted, then you shouldnt have called Christian. Twatts you are right about the jabbing, they were talking about business matter, Christian made the effort, to go and talk to him about them. And Olli just went and start talking and fighting about personal matter, totally mixing them up. I know he is hurt and all, but he also had his fun already, yeah I dont agree that makes him even with Christian or anything, there is not even in this kind of situations, not even if Olli sleep with a thousand of guys, or cheats on Christian in the next SL. But you shouldnt accuse of something that you have also done. Its Olli wants to move on from Christian he has to forgive and forget Bc if he keeps holding on the hate, he would hurt himself. They need to reach the friends stage, and then get back together ;D

No Christian or Olli today, and no Jessica.

Hiow long are we going to watch Helena pop those pills. She must of taken like 5 today alone and I didn't even watch the whole show. Tanya has lost it. Maybe she can borrow some of Helena's pills More near misses with Jan/Julia, that's been going on for too long too.

Since Jan now knows Julia is in Mallorca, maybe there´ll be some kind of development.

Do you think? Or is he now giong to purposely avoid her. The writers propably think that a little hide and seek would be fun. But then Jan has to try to avoid Clarissa too.

Did he see her? I know that Julia has. How big of an island is it anyway. It took Olli like 2 days to run into Arno and Clarissa. These people have been running around for weeks.

In her confession Julia talked about how Clarissa being alive brought up all these memories and that Clarissa is on the island. So Jan knows that Clarissa is here from Julia's story, even if he hasn't seen Clarissa yet himself.

If you look at the German boards, even though the storyline wasn't popular before, people really loved the scene in the confessional (mostly because of the actor who plays Jan and how he played Jan's reaction). www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvdndtP9I-w

Thanks for the link, LR. I actually like the actor that portrays Jan. He's got an natural way about him as an actor and like Jo, he works well with all of his Mallorca castmates.

Olli and Jessica didn´t meet. Jessica phoned her friends for help but seems there are no friends who would take her in. She slept in the office. But I got the feeling that Olli will take her back into the flat because he feels sorry for her. He said to Dana that Jessica is lonely and after all Olli is a nice guy. But thats wrong of him. Yes he is not Christian's romantic partner anymore but he is his business partner. He even called Christian to tell about the water pipe and that THEY had to pay. Christian was really angry with the whole situation, not only personally but also professionally. Both as business partner agree to kick Jessica out, and later Olli turns around and let her stays. But this would be so in character with Olli, thats what Olli has been doing during their whole relationship, he agrees something with Christian and then turns around and does another. Its like why does Christian even bother to discuss things with Olli, since Olli is going to end up doing whatever he wants. totally agree with you Gabby. olli will let Jessica move in and as usual he'll do what he wants in spite of Christian's opinion. So, I wonder, why did he ask Christan to talk about the problem with J? oh, yeah, because they are co-owners... But if he does what he wants I guess he used that excuse for approaching Christian and have the possibility to hurt him again (and hurt himself, of course)... guys stop fighting and start cuddling! then, make love! maybe, not in this order, necessarily ;D

I haven't been way into the Jan and Julia SL, but the confessional scene was so good I watched it 3 times. Hubertus Grimm was absolutely brilliant today!

I haven't been way into the Jan and Julia SL, but the confessional scene was so good I watched it 3 times. Hubertus Grimm was absolutely brilliant today! Julia: Praise Jesus Christs. Jan: In all eternity, amen. Julia: I don't even know what I'm doing here. And now, now I'm crying on top of it all. Normally I'm not such a crybaby. Anyway, I was suddenly inside the church and now I'm sitting here in the confessional and I don't even know anymore how one does that. Probably I'm here to hide. _ Clarissa: I'm to blame that she'll porbably never be truly happy. Arno: Julia is happy. One can only hope that Jan doesn't ghost around in her head too often. Clarissa: If one has lost what is most important in the world to oneself one thinks about it constantly.
_
Julia: For 10 years I believed that my mother was dead. And suddenly she stands in front of me and asks me for forgiveness. Till I was 18 I didn't know that I had a twin brother. Our mother had separated us after our birth and didn't find it necessary to tell us. My whole life would have went differently if she hadn't lied to me.
_
Clarissa: Tomorrow I'll take the first flight. Arno: You want to leave? Clarissa: Yes. If Julia doesn't want me in her life I have to respect that.
_
Julia: It's her fault that I fell in love with my brother. We met each other by accident and it was love at first sight. And it hurt so much when I learned who he was. For years I tried to forget him and now I have built a new life for myself and I'm happy. But my mother she's so... soo... well, Clarissa. She's never respected my feelings and she doesn't stop poking around in the past and I'm so afraid that all will rise up again. It took so long for me to cope with this and I don't know whether I can do that again. Padre? Are you still there?

Thank you so much, lolaruns! I had gotten the gist of what she said, that she was telling her story, but it's so much better to understand all of it. Jan recognized her before she even started recounting what could only be their story, right? He seemed to realize it was Julia, and cover his face to hide. And the way he tries to control his reaction once she tells of Clarissa, and all the details, biting his finger, the tears in his eyes. Wow. ;D I can't wait to see Monday's episode, when he slips her the paper.

Ooh, thanks for the translation, lolaruns.
I watched the clip and loved it. You guys are right. The actor that plays Jan is brilliant and I loved his reaction first to realizing it was Julia in the confessional and then his reaction to what she said...ooh talk about deep. If she only knew.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious that he knows from the moment where she says "And now I'm crying". Personally, I think that's a bit of plothole anyway that she doesn't recognize him from his voice, but what do I know I kinda always thought that Clarissa was the main deal of Mallorca and Jan and Julia were kinda the neccessary evil side story, but somehow this felt like the first "full" Mallorca episode. Where the Mallorca screentime felt really equal to the screentime the Düsseldorf stories are getting. Compared to this most of the Clarissa meetings (Clarissa meets Arno, Clarissa meets Julia) have felt rather rushed and short. [to me the biggest feeling Clarissa episode was actually the one where she is released from jail where they alternated her with Tanja] I really thought that the dialogue was quite good the last few episodes. I'm kinda tempted to transcribe Nico's "stars" monolouge too (of course I've for a while been meaning to make a list of example of what it looks/sounds like when VL tries (succssfully or not) to write something meaningful for their straight couples). Ah screw it. Nico's monologue: Nico: Where of all places are you? Please come back to me. I don't care what they say. As long as your heart's still beating I believe that you'll come back to me. Maybe you are taking a short vacation. Or you travel without me. To your stars. Do you remember? For me the stars were always so far away, but for you they were always close enough to reach for them. And you brought them closer to me, every single one of them. Cassiopeia. Aldebaran. Beta... Beta Quid... That's what he's called, isn't he, Philipp? [for the first time after a long day of futile tests a part of Phil's brain shows activity] Nico: There you are. Of course! With the stars! I'm with you, do you hear? I'm with you. (though this one needs Nico/Verena's acting a lot more than the Julia one needs Julia's acting) ____________ Poor Verena. If Phico didn't bug so much that almost would have been a touching scene. I also really liked the Nico/Andi scene today where he shows her the correct way to flip Phil and he makes some sweet jokes about it's no wonder she has trouble because the prince is quite a load for such a tiny countess. And then of course they had to run off again for more stupid, boring, uninteresting, repetitive Nico/Helena crap Personally I kinda fear Nico hooking up with Julia's husband after the story is over simply because they are telephoning each other quite a lot and they already feel like they are going to be a painfully uninteresting and boring couple. Nico is always best when she has somebody to fight and bounce off and Ricardo is like the most passive accepting not-doing-anything guy in the universe. I just feel like it's just another *headdesk* couple coming.

One good scene a good storyline does not make. Jan and Julia still have plenty of opportunity to suck beyond belief But yes, thumbs up to the Jan actor for that scene (Julia was ok too; I kinda joked in another forum that it seems to be an oddity of VL's modern incest stories that in them the men [Jan, Tristan, Ansgar] are the good criers while the women are are the annoying onces. When I think the old incest and semi incest stories rested more on the shoulders of the women [old!Julia, Marie]).

Don't know much about Ansgar, haven't seen any of his SLs, but he visibly has a huge fan following. Is it just a spec that he could be Kim's father, or are they really dropping hints?

Viktoria just admitted it to Elizabeth. So I'm assuming it's a done deal. It's not that I don't think that the actors good, the confessional scene showed that he is, I'm just tired of this near misses stuff. Them acting together is far more interesting then them sneaking around avoiding each other. But maybe that's what we will get. The longing from afar.
