I felt like I was attending a funeral when I watched this episode...... I must appreciate the actors as well as the writers for making this so believable it really felt like a good-bye......... I choked trying not to cry......... going by this episode....a reconciliation SHOULD NOT happen this year ideally, it would be an insult to all the endurance on both their parts...... If the writers are willing to give these boys a happy ending, they should take all the time in the world to make them fall in love again, only then will I be able to buy it. this break-up was as strongly portrayed as the 4-4-08 episode when they finally became a couple..... this is the best episode of this storyline so far.....Greek tragedies look pale in front of it. With these two actors. Believe me. You will believeit.

Glad my long ass post could somewhat express similar thoughts, guys. I really can ramble on and on. I just really enjoyed Olli yesterday. He could have wallowed in self-pity, and in a way I think the rallying “girl power” (and maybe even Christian) kind of expected and wanted him to, but he did the exact opposite. There was no one for them to pick up and maneuver in the direction they wanted. He went to work, responsibly delegated managing prior to leaving, managed to apologize to Andi and actually listen to the guy’s personal problems like a good friend (which none of his so-called friends actually did for him), got straight to the point with Christian with his emotions in check, and then took off with his head held high. He came off way better than anyone else in this episode. I expect some cracks to show later and for things to get to him again, but he did what was best and necessary at this time, and it took some balls IMO.

macara, this is very astute. You hit the nail right on the head of the way Olli was in this episode. So much word. As I stated before, this is truly of the the best episodes I have seen in a while and Olli definitely lay the smack down yesterday and then fled dodge, good for him.

We can all hope for this but it ain't never going to happen. The writers seem to see these friends as good friends, unlike what we see. It would really be nice to see Olli truly have a couple or even one decent friend who would always have his back but alas, I don't think it's to be. Maybe we might be surprised and Jessica turns out to be just that person.

As I said yesterday, he showed complete, adult maturity in his actions, in contrast to everyone else.

Macari, I gotta say that I agree with many, I loved your post. You pretty much summarized all the feelings I got from this great episode.

Indeed, and it's all the more poignant as what Olli needs is... someone like Olli! I've always thought that his most shining quality is his fiercely loyal dedication to his friends. Sadly his best friend ultimately must be Charly, who (let's face it) is not exactly a genius when it comes to psychology and wise counsel. Srsly?

Yes, Seriously. I can actually see Jessica kicking some ass in the name of the Big O who has just recently become her friend and she will be his champion. Hey, I would not put anything over on TPTB to write such stuff.

I don't buy the Jessica and Olli friendship. And I never will, no matter what good thing Jessica does for Olli. If Olli is too stupid to fall for Jessica's lies, then he deserves what ever she dishes out to him, weather good or bad. I'm thinking it'll be the latter.

I don't buy the friendship either. I get if they want to give Jessica a bigger role in the show, but there are plenty of other ways they could do it, wthout having her befriend the husband of a man whose marriage she destroyed. And the way she just pops in all the time, like she belongs there. If he can't stand to look at his husband, how can he stand to look at her,but I guess it's not her fault that Christian decided that he like women more than men. It's Christian's for not being honest with Olli about his true feels. At least that's what they want us to believe and I for one don't.

But Jessica did not destroy Olli and Christian marriage sure she was involved but the brunt of that falls in Chris head he's the one Olli is married to and he should have taken all precautions to make sure nothing nothing goes wrong with his marriage. That's it for me, I cannot believe I am sitting at my friends barbecue and posting about chris and Olli. I'm off to enjoy my food. Peace out all until tomorrow.

Christian is the husband yes, but the idea tht a person would sleep with 2 attached men, doesn't say much about them.

Of course Jessica didn't destroyed the marriage, but she did contribute. On this I'm with twatts and bkoz, having Jessica as a good friend to Olli just goes beyond my mind. You are telling me that the person who slept with my husband is not only trying to be my friend but I also accept that friendship? nonsense!
We all know who Jessica is, a person that bends things to her advantage. Olli does not need this type of friend who has slept with his husband, who has falsely accuse Andi of rape, and who tried to convince him that Nico was not his friend. I'm happy that is not just me who doesn't fall for this crappy thing call a friendship now.

She has a proven record of being a bad person, not someone I would believe Olli would just befriend.

I guess we are suppose to think that it's all because she wants to be loved. If we believe all the things that are said about Christian and him acting out to get Olli's attenton, maybe she is a good fit for him, because she is screaming out for attention big time.

Well, in theory, Olli/Jessica friendship might be interesting. 1) Olli's "good" friends at the moment aren't doing much to help him. They are either too focussed on their own problems and even kind of thought it was funny Chris was shagging Theresa (Andi and Dana), or have no practical advice to give him, although they mean well (Charlie and Rebecca). 2) Although she's a bad girl, she seems to really care about Olli. After all, she was the one who went to call Christian, when she thought he might kill himself. 3) I don't think Olli will let himself be fooled by her. He knows who she is, and she's the only woman he's a bit rude to. And he's been sending her packing in the latest episodes. 4) It might be kind of funny this "love/hate" relationship. I think Jo and Jana have good chemistry and I like their scenes together. I think it would be fun to see the conflict of values: Olli's good nature vs Jessica's selfish attitudes. And it might be also interesting to see how Olli and Christian would cope with her being around. Because, although it wasn't her fault that Christian (maybe) slept with her, she's a constant reminder of that night. 5) Besides, they could exchange notes on fashion design. ;D
Yay! I've reached post 1000! Let's celebrate! Champagne for all! ;D
