Someone posted the link to his last interview here. I am expecting the same. If I find it elsewhere, I will post the link here.

Knots, it was a live call-in interview. Someone may post the link to their saved file. I missed the first 15 minutes because I was on my iPad and it would not open. He spoke about being an only child in Ohio, how he found acting and his moving to LA as an 18-year-old. I got the impression that Will and Sonny are solid and will be for a long time with the usual soap dramas happening. May I add he sounds like a great guy! Here is a link to the interview: www.blogtalkradio.com/medianiteradio/2012/12/03/live-interview-with-freddie-smith-dool-scandal-crestFreddie spoiled nothing at all. He only talked about what the other person just mentioned above where Wilson will have ups and downs but they love each more than anything in the world and how everybody on the show (I am guessing writers and actors???) want to see Will and Sonny as a passionate and loving couple. Nice interview to hear how how much Freddie appreciates his fans and loves his job. And he talked a bit about his childhood. He said how he's from North East Ohio and he graduated from high school when the economy tanked and there weren't any opportunities there for jobs. So he moved to LA where he could what he loves to do with acting. He also said how he comes from a family where he wasn't spoiled as an only child and his dad puts in 16 hours a week at work. His mom was a stay at home mom until he was 13. He said how he was a punk for a few years when he moved out to LA and learned the hard way about making mistakes (or something like that). He said how if it weren't for the fans the gay story wouldn't be going on right now. He wasn't sure the gay story would become as lasting it has but is very grateful and so much of this is due to the fans supporting the story. He slightly backtracked (at least seems that way to me compared to what he said last time). He said how the making out and love scenes are very directed. He also said how they wanted to show the passion and love with them during those kind of scenes. He said how in real life sex can get all messy between two people and it's things other people don't want to watch because it's personal but with Will and Sonny they are trying to show the love and passion. (I think he was trying to defend the Wilson scenes not being as explicit as some would like. I get it and I don't. It's still more than we see from any other gay couple but still not comparable to love scenes on tv between men and women). He also talked about how he became even more passionate about equality when he was given these gay roles on 90210 and most especially DOOL. I think he also said how he could debate for a long time about physical education in school and kids eating healthy and staying in fit. He also said how despite Lucas being kind of a douche bag (to Sonny I believe) that Bryan D is one of the nicest guys and is so funny. He loves working with him and I think he alluded to there being a lot of stuff with Lucas coming up.

Yes, WillNSonny, it was a great interview for us all, and thankfully for now we can all breathe and be optimistic that Sonny is not going anywhere. Their story is long from over.

I wonder if they are talking about the same gifts? That would be cool if that's what Chandler was talking about too.

I just heard the interview that was posted of Freddie Smith here and I just have one word. OMG. He is such an amazing guy. He seems like one of those really down-to-earth actors who enjoys their work very very much and doesn't take it for granted. I love it how he is always excited for WilSon and how he praises Days and Chandler over and over again.
I only wish Days could actually understand what a genuine actor in form of Freddie they have at their disposal. I mean he is superb talented (I watched the first epi. of Scandal Crest and was totally blown away by him. He was hilarious) and all Days do is take him for granted. I really really hope Days understand and respects his potential soon and gives him a strong storyline that he truly deserves.

But let's face it, the show doesn't allow Freddie to utilize his talent. When Sonny is just standing there saying a few basic lines it doesn't go far to showcase his talent. I agree that Freddie showed in Scandal Crest how diverse of an actor he is. Too bad we can't see Sonny be more care free at times along with showing some dramatics.
