Ridiculous. They can't boycott Degrassi. Idiots.
Degrassi has been on for over 20 years and has always dealt with heavy topics including gay and lesbian characters. I wouldn't make much of it.

I think it has been on closer to 30 years in its various incarnations. The current run DTNG -- has been on for ~10 years. I just thought that it was worth posting about. I really don't think there boycott will do anything more than force a few advertisers drop out. Though the American version of skins did not get a second season in part due to the clout of the Christian right which made advertisers unwilling to buy ad time.
