Got this from Soap Central.
The week of August 1st Will and Sonny agree to go to a baseball game together.Also that week Will and Gabi's romance gets more serious.The week of August 8th Will and Gabi make love for the very first time.I'm assuming Will and Sonny will become closer friends.As for Will having sex with Gabi i could have seen that one coming and it's just the next step in Will's story.

Eeek! I never read that "Link Only" warning. Okay, in future I will not post the recaps here.
But here's a tidbit for Thursday, Aug. 4th - Sonny informs his parents he's staying in town and looking for a summer job with the District Attorney's office (remember, D.A. Woods is Chad's adoptive father).

Deidre: There’s a big event and we have a brand new set that’s been designed for the show. It’s the new Town Square and so we come back essentially to help dedicate the Square. We also come back because there are some little problems in Salem that we’ve gotten dragged into and we hit the ground running. We’re at that party and people come, people go and it’s high drama for five solid days. Drake: Then the set they built, it’s the whole width of NBC and it’s called The Horton Center and it’s got a plethora of stores all around and it will be the inside/outside type of set where you can go inside different doors and you can turn things around. It will be ideal. As far as the character John Black, he is recovering from when he left the show. He intercepted the toxic needle that was meant for Doc (Marlena) from the evil psychiatrist and John is just starting to gain his strength and, at the same, there’s an event where the authorities are waiting for him to reach American soil. This storyline is an umbrella storyline which because of that event, it’s going to encompass all the core members of the show in a way where everyone is going tro be a little bit of odds with each other so it’s going to take a lot of strength in the couple…when she says we hit the ground running, everybody all of a sudden, everybody’s life suddenly changes and the show is going in a whole new direction. Deidre: Everybody has a point of view, everyone is equally invested in that point of view and it’s reality-based. Jim: And John and Marlena are together, right? Drake: They are together. Bo and Hope were instrumental in bringing it to fruition. John and Marlena attend the grand opening. Certain groups have been waiting for John to land on American soil because another event is unfolding that he is responsible for. That's where the storyline is right now. It's a topical, umbrella storyline that encompasses five different couple who don't see eye to eye on the event and that's going to create some disturbances – that's where we are! John is getting his faculties back as far as all the movement in all the extremities, but because he was so focused on his recovery, he kind of let the business aspect slide. That's part of the story we're telling. |

This is from an interview Deidre did with Soaps.com Deidre: "Guilt" is a word that Marlena doesn't understand. She had a priority in her life, it was saving her husband's life, and she set about doing it. And she's been in touch with the people in Salem, through her grandson Will [Horton, Chandler Massey], which will turn out to be another wonderful storyline. She is back, she is a leader extraordinaire. She will grab her family by the throat. I think the two-and-a-half years have enriched her character.
