LOL, okay just the very beginning of this video is hilarious
Chord says "I love a diva in tights" and Darren just side-eyes him hardcore.

Good quality version of RYG (although I am slightly suspicious at HOW good the singing is...heavy backing track, anyone?)
and, since I'm here, this made me giggle:

I cycled past the hotel that the Glee actors are staying at in London today, and I had to giggle because there was a group of girls outside, wearing their school uniform that looked like a blue tartan version of that girl's school in the Animal clip... I did wonder if they'd kept the uniform on just for "Blaine" ;D

@ Brechtje I couldn't buy one for Thursday cos I'm going to Arcade Fire (with Mumford and Sons, Beirut and Vaccines) on Thursday- there's NO WAY I'm missing that! Anyway, here's my review, photos to follow when I've figured out how to upload So- first thing to say: the show is a big fat truckload of fun and Brechtje you will LOVE it!!! Just non-stop bouncy fun all the way through! The crowd was great tonight too, which I think lifted them all a bit too, but wow, just wow! I was SUPREMELY lucky in that the random ticket I bought from a stranger turned out to be, oh, right next to the Warbler stage ;D *thank you Karma* OK, individual thoughts: Vocals yes, there was definitely SOME lip-syncing and SOME "heavy backing tracks" but I would categorically say that Amber Riley, Chris Colfer and Lea Michele all sang their solos (except maybe one, but I won't name that song) and sand them beautifully. I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Ain't No Way were fan-bloody-tastic. Dancing/ Choreography Well, everyone knows, but Heather Morris' dancing is just unbelievable. I could watch her all day. Everyone else was great too- and the whole set up is great, using different stages so everyone in the arena gets to see stuff. The Actors My first impression - Cory Monteith is hilarious, joking around - he looks like a lovely guy Secondly, Lea Michele, DAMN she really does have an amazing voice. Mark Salling is ridiculously good-looking, OMG. Couldn't even tell you if he was singing live or not, I was too busy staring at his beauty! And finally, our boys, Chris Colfer the unusual quality of his voice is even more notable (and beautiful) live. He has some, um, interesting dance moves too- hahah! He's a total showman and crowd pleaser- and the duet with Lea Michele was divine. Can they please speak all duets on series 3? Please? and Mr Blaine Warbler himself, Darren Criss... like Mark I couldn't tell you if he was singing live- I suspect he was- but not because I was stunned so much as the fact that the screaming level in the arena hit fever pitch when he came on. I swear it was like seeing the Beatles in the 60s or something, in fact, some of the younger girls in the audience may have hit puberty early tonight, such was the level of oestrogen in the venue ;D But he is a FANTASTIC performer- but I kind of expected that. What I didn't expect was how much he just stood out from the rest, in group pieces, even when he was obviously trying not to- I dunno, he just seemed to jump higher, move slicker, be more "of the moment"- you can't take your eyes off him. However, it is damn hard to get a photo, seen he just BOUNCES around the stage! And finally, the Klaine/ Britney skit was freakin hilarious tonight. I saw on twitter that Chris and Lea had gone to the Tower of London today... when Chris/ Kurt came onstage, he had a bag. He made Blaine/ Darren close his eyes, and whipped out a busby hat (the black bushy bearskin that the Queen's guards wear) and put that on him, and put a tiara and gown on himself. LMAO! Darren had a hard time not cracking up SO MUCH FUN! I WANT TO GO AGAIN!

^ Oh. my. gosh. I absolutely ADORE all your photos. They're all so wonderful!
Also, it's kind of a jumpy video - but here's the Klaine skit just because of how much stuff they added to it. The whole thing is adorable! (LOL, they've played dress up before... My mind went to dirty places when he said that)
And then there's video of Chris wearing his little cape thing during Single Ladies. And he took it off to do his hip thrusts. So it's pretty much a strip tease at this point. (Oh god I'm too much of a Chris Colfer fangirl to function)

AAhhhhh! I just got back from London, and Flippa, you were absolutely right, it was amazing! It made up for my horrible night when I arrived in London. I was supposed to stay at my sister's, but she gave me the wrong keys and she was back in Holland herself. All hotels, hostels and inns were full because of Wimbledon and strikes and I had to stroll around London until three in the morning before I found a place! But now, on to the amazingness that is GLEE LIVE! I have to agree with you though, there was some definite lyp-synching... Some things were just too flawless to be sung while the amount of bouncing Flippa already mentioned. I did film some stuff, but when I watched it just now I decided not to put anything up... I'd just embarras myself, 'cause appearantly I was singing along quite loudly and while I can actually sing, you can't hear yourself there and I was OUT OF TUNE SO BADLY, WOW! hehe.. As for the show. Heather Morris, I think I just turned bi-curious during slave 4 u, god that girl is gorgeous and when she dances I'm just mesmerised, yup, I'm straight but I'd tap that! Chris Colfer has wiped away all my doubts about him during I wanna hold your hand. It was so flawless I thought he was lyp-synching at first, but then he kneeled down to touch peoples hands and almost fell over and it reallywent like I wanna hold your haaaa -oooowiiiiiiieeh aaaaand.. So that was live. Amber Riley has the most amazing voice ever, serioulsy. When she sang Ain't no way, everything was quiet! Darren Criss, Oh my grilled cheesus (I ate at a restaurant where they actually served those, yay!), love of my life... When Sue Sylvester came on the big screen and she announced 'the rival glee club', there was a local earth quake, I promise! The amount of love those guys get is amazing. You really couldn't hear a single word the coach said, because right after she started the speech they got ready to get on stage and it just went crazy, just crazy. I'm abso-freaking-lutely sure Darren sang Teenage Dream live, because he couldn't find the right tune to start with, but he picked up real quick and was close to flawless after that. I think he sang Silly Love Songs partly live, because there is this part where he talks to the audience and tells them to sing 'I love you' and you could just hear him panting, only after that his voice was flawless again.. And Raise Your Glass must be lyp-synch, because he bounces and jumps up and down and around while this long note and it sounds flawless, I'm sorry, I know he is amazing but not even he couldpull that of for real. I have to say I really do not mind about the lyp-synching though. I think if they would not lyp-synch a few numbers, it would affect the quality of the actual live sung numbers, which were all amazing and they made the right choices as to sing which songs live. I'm really bumped that Naya Rivera wasn't there, appearantly she was ill. Chord Overstreet and Dianna Agron were cute during Lucky, but they didn't stand out in the crowd that much actually. I could not really get an impression of the entire cast, these were just the things that stood out for me.. Oh and let me not forget to cheer for Kevin mcHale, he was so funny! He got out on stage on his own at one point and he asked the audience if they were having fun, to which they all erupted in loud cheering. Then he looked to the side of the stage, tapped his ear thingy and said he didn't hear anything. For a while everybody thought his ear thingy was broken or something, until he very sarcastically said 'ohh, it's because they weren't loud enough? Oh well, let me ask them to scream a bit louder'.. Of course, we did! As for the skit, yours sounded cute Flippa, but not as cute as mine ! Kurt said that, because it was their last time in London, he wanted to dedicate it to Will&Kate and that some people say they are the American Will&Kate (hell yeah!).. Blaine then said he wondered who of them would be Kate, but no, Blaine wasn't to take away the Middleton from Kurt, Kurt was Middleton (I always knew Blaine was royalty!).. Ofcourse there was one thing Will&Kate had, that Kurt and Blaine had not.. Not the crown though, cause Kurt is prom queen! No, it were plates with their heads on it.. Only now they had, because Kurt had them and then he started throwing them into the audience.. Oh how I wished I sat there! Then, of course, there was only one more thing to do to make the moment more magical, which was propose! Well, then it went as usual.. Until Chris said 'wear another blazer'.... Darren just put on this seductive voice and said 'You love the blazer, you know it'... BEST. PART. OF. THE. NIGHT!

He DOES say that in a very sexxxxxy way- I melted when he said it when I was there, jeeez... (they have been saying that every night for a while now, sorry!) Loved the plates though- saw them on tumblr SO SAD that Naya wasn't there for you- she was amazing! And hummmmmmmmm MIGHT have had something to do with being in the Savoy bar past 2am singing with Darren and Lea the night before? ??! But loved your review, I agree with it all Heather Morris- OMG Yes, she's so hot! And there were certain stand-out performers, hey?!

LOL, way to go out with a bang. Better view of the klaine kiss hereAlso, I just noticed he says 'Did you really think Santana was going to be the only girl to have some fun tonight.' ...You go, girl. And then the guys just ripped off their shirts... like literally But even Darren randomly lifted up his shirt under the blazer (PS Chris, you have an annoying habit of wearing clothes. I mean, what? I'm a respectful fangirl...... jk. And yes, that is a warbler's tie this time )

I'm so going to the last show next year ! Aaah, I'd add photo's, but it really is pretty much the same of what you already saw. My friend who doesn't watch glee (I still wonder why she came with us?) took all the photo's, since my phone died halfway through. She didn't really take photo's of the important parts (no close ups of Darren Criss, how dare she!).. Here's the one photo I'll share with you, so you can see how much of a fool I made of myself, and loved doing it! (I'm the 'I'm with stoopid' one, guess who I dressed up as ) Aren't you just loving my pink sunglasses? I know I am!

Here's another one that includes my shoes and gives you a better view of the overall outfit.. I still can't believe I was the only one I saw in there who actually dressed up as of the characters.. How was it when you went there Flippa? Did people actually dress up?

@ Brechtje nope, not many people dressed up- but then, I don't think we normally do? Although, there were two outrageously cute Asian girls (think they were Malaysian, they looked Malay Chinese to me) about aged 6-8, who had Cheerios costumes on and were adorable!

Your outfit! <3 Brittany would totally wear those shorts.
But actually, I think Glee live is one of the most appropriate places to dress up...

I was a bit surprised, I'd just expected lots of kids to dress up, but eventually most people just wore the shirts when they got there. I did see three girls who were about my age wearing cheerios uniforms (seriously, how did they get those!) and one guy at the restaurant was wearing a warbler uniform. I almost kidnapped him to steal his clothes! As to my outfit, I'd actually wear stuff like that normally as well, only with the 'I'm with stoopid' shirt it just finished it in Brittany style , I would not wear that combination at home .. But the shorts, the knee-high socks, ever since I saw Brittany dress like that on Glee I've been in love with the style and loved wearing it to Glee live as well .
