So The Glee Project is basically a reality show type competition on Oxygen to find a new actor to bring on to Glee. Darren Criss will be guest mentoring and there should be other people from the show on here I'm guessing... Anyways they just released their first music video featuring all the contestants. (Ngl, some of them look too old even by Glee age standards.) Official SiteAnd I'm pretty sure this guy already owns my heart: thegleeproject.oxygen.com/meet-the-cast-gleeproj/cameron

Not going to lie, I watched the Tony awards instead of this, so if you missed it too, you should be able to see it here: www.oxygen.com/full-episodes/But I hear some girl named Emily spent more time trying to whore herself out to Darren than actually focusing on the competition. So this should be fun. Also, there reason for getting a new cast is so stupid. I'm the same age as the kids on the show, and I really wouldn't care if I graduated and they didn't.

Hmm, I think you can only watch that from within the US... I'm off trying to find another site, but I seem to be out of luck :S

Do these work for you?

Also, just finished watching it. I completely agree with who they sent home. Don't we have enough "heart throb" guys on the show anyways? Also, Emily's character just sounds like the straight version of Santana...
The only like completely new characters would be Cameron or Mattheus in my opinion. The rest haven't wowed me yet.

That show is absolute genius (and I speak as someone who has worked on kind a few reality shows)- perfect combinations of America's Next Top Model style, with The X Factor, with oh so many other shows... brilliant. Had a LAUGH OUT LOUD moment at the chick saying "flipping my hair is my thing... it makes me different"- erm, no hunny! And I do love Darren's way of handling the unasked for flirting- almost as good as on that live chat when a woman said "I'm 18 and legal" and he responded with a joke about being able to vote together ;D Not overly impressed with the talent, but have a feeling I might get addicted to the format

Idina Menzel will be the guest judge next week. (Wow, already pulling out the big guns.)
Also:
Crap, I think I'm in love with too many of them now. This will end in heartbreak

Just watched this week's- so glad that Matheus went home ... my predictions for the rest of the series: (sorry, don't know their names, so will use generic descriptions)
Next to go home: either Alex (Ryan made it clear he doesn't like divas!), followed by Lindsay or Cameron (I'm with Ryan on Cameron- I don't see it. He over-acts, misses the point of songs, and is way too constricted as a person to be a convincing actor). Sadly, lovely as the fuller figured girl with red hair is, she won't win cos her character would be too similiar to either Lauren or Mercedes.
winner- either the Irish guy or the dreadlocks guy. If I had to bet, I'd go with dreadlocks, as he's stood out for me from the start. He's good looking but unconventional, plus he can sing, plus he's nothing like any pre-existing characters. Irish guy for me is fabulous, but too close to Finn.
Also, there are too many girls and not enough guys in the series at the moment. Depending on where they go with Brittana they still need someone for Rachel/ Quinn (possibly MErcedes) Or... as a ringer, the girl who won the challenge this week. I could see her working with Finn, Puck or Sam. Plus, she could bring an interesting mix of emotions and levels.

OH MY GOSH RYAN MURPHY, I LOVE YOU AGAIN. Cameron and Ryan and uqwehqh I loved how supportive he was. But Cameron bb, you made me cry - you deserve that just as much as all those other people. And saving Damion was so dramatic. I so love Cameron and I hope he gets a record deal and guhhh.
But the whole first half on the episode was so awkward... I have a feeling Damion for sure won't make it just from the fact that they have to subtitle him, not to mention that they were actually going to send him home.
But seriously... who do I root for now? They've gotten rid of all my favorites

I don't agree. Sorry but a guy who cries because he has to kiss a pretty girl doesn't deserve the exposure of a tv show. To be honest, all that discurse about i'm christian and i am only able to kiss my girlfrien irk me like hell. Boy you are grown enough to know how an actor is, and if you are not able to see the difference to kiss a coworker and a girlfriend, you are beyond stupid. People has all the right to have their values, all my respect to that, but if you don't know what means being an actor (and on Glee, wich is on tv everyweek) you better stay at home.
And RM is beyond pathetic running behind this boy and try to convince him to stay. It seems that he wanted Cameron to play himself on the show or something like that. Pathetic

Cameron's mother was like what's the big deal about the kiss in the previous episode. She asked Cam why he was so down about it and he responded irritated, that it was cheating. Even his mother who I assume is also "Christian" didn't understand his reaction.
If Cameron is opposed to anything sexual, he should have tried out for shows that focus only on singing and performance like American Idol, The Voice, X-Factor, etc.,

Even in that contest he will have some problems. A lot of singers have to kiss girls in their videos, he is a cute guy and if he signs a deal with a discografy he will be promoted to be a hearthrob with a lot of fangirls, at least he can pull an "Adele" and he is able to make his own music (and it has to be really good). But even people who has some success don't have all control of their career, and being whiny and crying all the time won't convince anyone (expect Ryan Murphy) to give him an opportunity. There are a lot of cute and really good singers and actors right there to be limited but such stupid prejudices

Hmm... Well I guess as a catholic I can relate to where his values are coming from. I see it more as he recognized that his firm values might limit him, so he decided to give others a chance in place of him rather than go against what he believes in. He probably wasn't thinking about kissing other girls when he auditioned and it just dawned on him throughout the course of this show. Also, here is always a good source - www.sidereel.com/the_glee_project/season-1/episode-7/search

LOL wow, you're good! But the girl kind of did semi-win. I mean, she got 2 episodes on Glee. Which begs the question of how all these people are going to freaking fit on the show...

Which begs the question of how all these people are going to freaking fit on the show... Good question... hummmm... well, it kinds of depends, I would imagine that they don't want to put them front-and-centre in case their character bombs (kind of like Blaine was a subsidiary until they realised from Teenage Dream how popular he was gonna be)- if I were Ryan Murphy, I would probably do it like this: 1) The girl is easy, some random 2 ep arc, rival cheerleader or rival glee club member. Possibly someone to rock Finchel a bit if they're back together (YAWN). 2) Samuel- POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT: If they are turning Quinn into some kind of bad-ass, then he's the ideal student to be a new boy at McKinley, who pulls Quinn to the wild side. Can see him rocking up on a motorbike and whisking her away. Give Quinn a SL for the season. 3) Damian- perfect to be Blaine's younger brother, with "issues", who cause trouble in the Klaine nest one way or another- thus, making the Klaine SL more interesting without bringing in an element of cheating, which Murphy knows will piss off the Klaine fans. Alternatively, if it's too difficult for him to lose his accent, he can he an exchange student/ SS whose parents have just moved from Ireland...

^ During 'The Glee Project' finale, they did mention that Damian will be playing a foreign exchange student. Obviously, that could change once his eps actually start to air.
I've heard lots of complaints about the 'TGP' having winners, but I'm not at all concerned about them taking up too much 'Glee' airtime.
All four of these people were guaranteed 2 to 6 eps, but how much they will be featured in the eps is completely up in the air. For all we know, the girl and Kurt+Mercedes' love child will only be awarded insignificant scenes. They could be members of a rival Glee club or even auditioning for the musical that will apparently be taking place. -spoiler.
And I really don't know about Dreadlocks, but I think that Damian will be staying around for future seasons. Like they mentioned on 'TGP:' he could totally play a freshman. They should start integrating younger people into the cast now, so that when the older ones graduate, there are still familiar faces on the screen.
I wonder if there will be a spin-off one day. I'm not against the idea if it's done well.

Well, that makes total sense, I don't think he'd be able to pull off an American accent so quickly! How would they make his character stick around though, I wonder? I guess we'll have to see if he can actually act first. Exactly. I couldn't really care less... "if it's done well" being the key. I shudder at the memory of Joey... actually, can anyone name a spin off series that has been good? I'm sure there must have been, I just can't think of one
