I watched the video and I'm really disappointed. I mean, I expected more Chrolli... in my opinion there are scenes left out/cut and I can't understand why. They have written a devastating tzunami for Chrolli but don't let us to see more for understanding Christian's feeling, for instance.... that's unfair...I believe Jo and Thore are always great but the SL seems a very big mess... at the moment, we can see Olli's pain but almost nothing of Christian's feeling, reaction... I can't accept that! I wanted to see more today and last days... instead we have to deal with horses, Dana's mental trips, Hagen (the most boring man in the world) and tomorrow with Theresa the bitch ... after Jessicagate we have had only pain and bitterness... we need now a little spark to enlighten the tunnel in which authors put Chrolli and their fandom... hope next spoiler can give us a little hope...

I feel your pain, but I have a feeling this is the direction they are going in for now. I think we are just at the beginning.

Okay, let me say first off that having to go through, for my caps, EVERY FRAME, over and over, of the part where Olli cries was hard...Having to focus that closely/precisely on it all....Yeah, not easy or nice... I've just edited into the thread opener[/url], as enlargeable thumbnails, my caps for this episode... CLICK THE BELOW PIC to view all of my caps in their full size...x

I could imagine. I was surprised they spent so much time showing him crying, but Jo is so good at it, I guess they figured they would use it.
Thanks Joanna.

Olli's tears broke my heart... standing ovation for Jo and Thore despite the little air time and this horrible SL... I totally agree with you. How are we suppose to believe that Olli would take Christian his belongings like that when it is obviously tearing him apart to do so. He misses him so much, smelling his scarf when he left the room. Someone that feels that strongly for someone would not do that. I just think they need to have Olli a little less torn up or something. I guess one someone siad is right. That he's doing it for Chrisitan's sake not for his own, but it would be nice if that's the case that we knew that.

I'm beginning to think that we have been given little snippets that this is Olli's intentions. The conversation btw He and Christian, when they revisit the cabin, comes to mind. Plus several more, like the voice over in the broken swans episode. I may grasping at straws here. So, I think I will go back and rewatch those ..

Trish andc39 I'm with you... Olli's is still deeply in love with Christian and he lets him go because he thinks it's better for Christian (the confused one, in Olli's opinion)... the reason because I hate authors attitude is also in this strange way of showing us Chrolli situation. I mean, they show olli angry, then Olli wants a break, then Olli is clearly in love with Christian (sniffing the scarf, trying to make a step towards him on the couch last episode and so on..), then olli (the one who is angry and wants a break) bring Christian all his things, he apparently seems to want break up for good, he's rude but behind the door he cries and you understand he is hurting even more himself for Christian's sake. So, I (as a viewer) see Christian "cheating" (?), begging pardon, staying calm, too much calm, almost relaxed and confident things are not so bad, then shocked before boxes. I would have appreciated much more clarity about Olli's intentions and Christian "cold and strange" attitude but I imagine that would be another show...

Don't hold your breath. I think this is all we are going to get is little snippets. This should have been a big moment Olli deciding to get rid of Chrisitan stuff, but it wasn't. Maybe this isn't the important part and that is to come and they will become more detailed. I just don't know. I'm just scatching my head.

Oh the torture of being so in love and not wanting your partner to know you are suffering without him. Poor Olli sniffing Christian's scarf and how quickly he put it down when Christian enters the room. Chris know he went over there just to get a glimpse of Olli, even though he does not show it, he is missing his other half.
When Olli delivered the boxes to Chris, he was truly happy to see Olli until he knew the real reason he was there. He was in shock and cannot figure out what is going on with Olli, if he just wants a break why is he getting rid of my stuff.
Olli is keeping too much bottled up inside him, that's not good but you can see how desperately he loves Christian. After all these years, he loves Christian more than he did three years ago.

Aw, Olli crying, it's like a puppy dying. Thanks Joanna for the caps, even though you had to trudge through Olli's pain, shot by shot. And, since MercuryMay is away on her well-deserved vacation, I will have to wait to understand exactly what LITTLE conversation transpired between them. But, in the meantime, does anyone who speak Deutsch, care to clarify the gist of what was spoken between Olli and Christian? I got that : (1) Olli inquired why Christian needed his boxing gloves/whether he started boxing again, and, I don't know what Christian's response was? Something along the lines of......it's my life now, right, so I can do whatever I want? (prolly got that really wrong)
(2) What Olli said in explanation of why he returned Christian's stuff to him at the studfarm?
***
Olli replacing the Chrolli pics, with one of himself, happy, confident, and SINGLE.....was quite symbolic of how hard he's trying to convince himself that he may have to face the inevitable, and move on from Christian.
As others have pointed out, it would have been great to get more of Chrolli time, AND, more of Christian's reaction.....but like jos87 pointed out, VL has a way of alternating each character as the focus, within a SL....and that we'll have Christian's suffering next week, whereas we had Olli's this week.
Whatever.

I've just watched the scenes and although I didn't understand a word, my first reaction is that Olli needs a good slap! Talk about biting off your own nose to spite your face! It should be Christian shown crying and not him.
I want to strangle the VL writers for this load of old rubbish. We used to complain about the old format of two episode Chrolli story arcs. But at least we had lots of Chrolli time in them. At least most of the story was told on screen and not off screen as has been happening lately.

I don't think that Olli has any special intentions. I think he's just hurt so much, that he's acting increasingly irrational, he's caught in a downward spiral and entering (self) destruction mode.
Christian apparently has still no clue what's really going on in Olli, he doesn't realize the seriousness of the situation. That might explain why he doesn't show any special emotions. It seems he's still waiting that Olli calms down and everything is fine again.
It's true that Christian was hopefull when Olli came by, but when he realized why Olli came, he was neither shocked nor totally devasted imo, he just seemed surprised to me.

Something along the lines of......it's my life now, right, so I can do whatever I want? (prolly got that really wrong)Olli: "You know the danger when you start boxing again." Chris: "That's my problem. You didn't want to have something to do with my life anymore (for some time), so..." (2) What Olli said in explanation of why he returned Christian's stuff to him at the studfarm? Olli (briefly): "I can't think about you and our relationship when I come into touch with your things all the time. I just can't do that." I hope that's helpful somehow.

rebecca is such a twit, wittering on about herself and her stupid fashion sketches when she must have some inkling at least how olli's feeling. she shouldn't need the hint before she acts like a friend. as for christian and the boxing, it could be a hint? maybe heart-related issues are what brings them back together. i'd hate that. i want them to be done for good now. but i think that might be a possibility anyway. christian at the door was weird. i couldn't get a read on it. and i still don't get why he's the one to run away to the stud farm - it's his flat - why the timidity? and that followed by the accusatory, you're the one who broke us up stuff?!? surely he should be glad that olli is showing he cares!?!? that was the proviso for him fighting for their relationship wasn't it? as long as olli still cares about him and them. i didn't see much fight.

To me the current writing style just feels like the writers making three brown dots on a piece of paper and then trying to assure us that it's actually the Mona Lisa. "Leaving certain things up to the imagination" is a valid strategy but driven to this extreme it just feels like a huge joke on the audience.
It's not like other stories (like Helandi or Ludwig and Elisabeth) don't have their weird non-sequitur/out of context reaction moments but usually they then at least get oodles more screentime to present it. [Phil/Nico and Tanja/Sebastian by comparison seem to have fewer of those "holes" and with Dana/Hagen/Marlene I feel it's not so much that the story is holes it's just that the characters are genuinely assholes]

confused and devastated Olli , confused and surprised Christian - it's my only impression of the last episode to properly understand their behavior is pitifully little air time there. We're just at the beginning of the story, I guess and it's already depressing as hell ( therefore so little air time maybe - they don't want to deter all viewers with so much depression). I'm already resigned , I realized that chrolli are only an adjunct to the other( perhaps even worse) SLs . I'm already tired . It makes no sense for me to worry about why is this SL so poorly written . Either this SL, or nothing .And for life without chrolli I'm still not ready . So I'll calmly watch the depressing little, which the authors give us a I'll suffer and suffer and hope that so much pain and depression will not kill me. have a nice day and nice weekend y'all

It'd be way easier if we could just ignore the bad writing, the little airtime, the character assassination, the fact that Chrolli is a C/D class story for the authors, the new editing team hobby of cutting out Chrolli scenes making all seem a disconnected rushed mess... and just stop watching or at least consider them like any other couple on the show and not giving a damn about what could happen to them. But we can't, we love Chrolli so much to stay here and suffer, and complain, and discuss endlessly all the possibilities and fill 10 pages in certain threads here in a day... for them. But that's AMAZING! And I'm choosing to believe Chroust statement this time; something bad has to happened to give place to something good, so just let's keep waiting for the good part as a tribute to the greatest fictional couple ever, and to the wonderful actors that bring them to life for us.

they were barely a C story yesterday. how many scenes has the legendary chroust given them this week? in the aftermath of the break up of this awesome, unbreakable supercouple?! i don't think it's much of a tribute, they've barely paid chrolli any attention. and if this is the bad before the good - i hope scripting this upcoming 'good' is not based on mathematical relativism - otherwise i fear there will be many disappointed fans. i think (and hope) someone was brave enough to realise they were JUST.NOT.WORKING anymore, as a couple. i think they're trying to put them to sleep in the kindest most gentle way they can. but very definitely destroying their relationship. the fact that they've taken up on such an old issue seems particularly relevant to me. christian's sexuality was what prevented them from having a relationship when they first got together, and it seems those issues were never fully resolved by either of them. it kind of negates all that time they've been together!
