In the article above, it mentions: "Degrassi," which was previously titled "Degrassi: The Next Generation," kicks off its 10th season Monday [July 19th] with a special summer schedule that will see the first 24 episodes air four days a week, with a two-hour marathon of repeats each Friday. Yes, Season 10 started on July 21. Neither Riley nor Zane was in the first episode. But

I don't think so, Riley mentions some kind of "i used to have a violent streak". I think he is letting clear he is not the type who deal well with blackmailing

thank you for the clips link to the episode. The new season is starting very good and in my opinion Zane and Reilly are one of the most interesting couple of the year. And I can't wait to see more.

My only complain is about how Degrassi in the past handled other storylines that seemed very promising at the start and ended in a really disappointing way (I'm not talking only about Marco's story) so I prefer to wait and see without getting my hopes too high.

Did anybody know that Adam is the girl who played "Lizzie" on Life with Derek.. Wow even though I honestly only watch for riley and Zane .. I have to start watchin for Adam too... that's gonna be an interesting storyline.. can't wait for it to air... ;D

Yh i cant wait either for the storyline its seems interesting and there are not a lot of trans gendered characters on TV, especially ones that are born female

Haha yeah I noticed that. They've had almost all of the cast from Life with Derek on Degrassi and vice-verse.

Step brothers = no mutual parent(s). Like if your mom and dad divorce, and your dad marry again. Lets say his new wife has kids from a previous marriage. Those kids will be your step siblings.

Half brother = if you and your sibling have one mutual parent. Like if your dad remarry, and has a baby with his new wife, that baby will eventually be your half brother or sister, since you have one mutual parent (your dad).

Exactly what I was thinking about. But my guess is that he'll treat Adam badly if he's treating Riley badly, because that is what homophobes do. They are bigots when it comes to ALL LGBT people, including transgendered people.

That is one possibility too, yes. Maybe they don't know they are siblings. But if Adam sees himself as a guy, then it must mean that Adam is gay, right? Because Adam feels like a guy, so he should be with a girl, and be straight, right? So Adam is gay, not straight (even though Adam was born as a girl). Because it's how he FEELS. Like, he FEELS like a boy inside, but he still falls for other guys. So he's gay? My head is spinning, lol. But it sure is interesting and I can't wait to watch it!

Hmm, maybe Drew IS gay? who knows? There's no rule saying there ONLY has to be one or two gays on a show. But I don't think he is, unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong though!
